    Dude, thank you so much for this! I fear anxiety which keeps me stuck. You mentioned everything i NEEDED to hear, to realize, in order to feel better. My nervous system has been overloaded for a while, and I am going on a youtube self help spree, to find everything i can to help. I can happily say your videos are great, and I will be purchasing your book!

    When its before mid day and i had a panic attack,and im calmed down i really want to take a nap. When its somewhere later in the day i dont have that feeling after a panic attack. Somebody have a idea why this is?

    What about if you feel anxious constantly and don’t have full attacks? I feel uncomfortable all day at home. Obviously worse when I go out, but I just feel nauseous and on edge all the time.

      The same rules apply. I know you want "But what about ..." because you're anxious most of the time, but most anxious people are anxious most of the time. Agoraphobics and people that suffer with panic disorder do not live calm lives sometimes interrupted by panic.

      @@TheAnxiousTruth i agree. i used to think ppl with panic attacks feel some panic for a bit then feel normal. but then i started having panic attacks myself. nah they just spice up my already anxious day!

    As someone that has the pronounced vasovagal response, but only with the most intense panic attacks, it truly sucks not knowing if the one you're having is one that'll tap you out. Like, am I overreacting by laying down because this might not be one of those or will I regret not laying down now when I wake up with a headache lol 😅

      Oh man that is definitely a challenge. I'm sorry you're one of those folks. The fainting thing is a real challenge that does throw a monkey wrench in there for you. I wish I had some magic words for this one, but all I can do is offer my moral support. It does sound like you've taken the time to understand and learn about your situation so that gets a fist bump for sure. Hang in there. xx

    I’m struggling what if your fear has overtaken you? I had a fall and have developed a phobia re walking outside. I’m trying but I feel the fear is just too overwhelming

      Well when anxious and agitated, human bodies get agitated in those areaas too, right? That's super normal. Its expected. Its part of being alive. The issue in our community tends to be interpreting that physiological response as much more urgent and immediately than it actually it. You might find episode 34 of "Disordered" helpful.

    Hi I am challenging myself after falling and being immobile. I am lightheaded and dizzy . I know I am very fearful of falling. I repetitively walk in yard. How do I gain the confidence to push myself out of my limits ie: walking in a lot to a store?

    • @TheAnxiousTruth
      @TheAnxiousTruth  Рік тому +1

      Unfortunately, confidence is something that comes AFTER action. People often try to feel confident so they can do hard things, but really, we gain that feeling based on experience and accomplishment. Try determined. Be determined. Confidence will come if you can follow through on that determination even when you are afraid. But also be sure to properly manage any actual medical conditions. That's always important to acknowledge.

    Thanks for all your knowledge. How do you manage grieving and anxiety as I'm dealing with both and finding it harder to do both ?

    • @TheAnxiousTruth
      @TheAnxiousTruth  2 роки тому +2

      Hi Steve. I'm so sorry to hear that you've suffered a loss. Grief is REALLY hard. And it can make anxiety recovery more difficult, but it can also teach you some lessons. Don't worry about recovery all the time. Make room for all the emotions that come with the loss. You have to work through the grief. Big emotions can sometimes trigger the fear response, so recognize when that happens and do your best to ride it out without running and trying to stop it. Best to you my friend. Losing the people we love is always one of the biggest challenges we can face in life.

      @@TheAnxiousTruth thank you for those kind words . It means alot to me . Yes I'm getting told to welcome the feelings but they don't feel like the ones I want to have . Know it shouldn't matter how I feel right now but the triggers seam to be everywhere right now. Alot of work to do and see what I can learn from this experience. The work you have put into making this channel for us all is really appreciated. Thank you all here .
