I have enough rods now that I probably have too many. Although I just bought another casting rod yesterday. But I remember like 30 years ago, I bought the Quanum Tour Edition rods, and I was lucky to have like 6' to 7'6" options, and that did the job. It's amazing how things progressed from then.

I always laugh at "get fatigued from casting"... Put down the donut & exercise a smidge then... Casting for bass isn't tiring.
and for spinning rods? (tile says "EVERY situation"). Can't do bass fishing justice for completeness by ignoring small jigs (e.g. Ned rigs) & drop shotting
For bait casters, great video.
Some missed points missed regarding rod lengths? Boat hull! Almost all deep-v boats sit higher off the water & they accommodate longer rod lengths. It's not just a person's height that matters. Same in the opposite for someone who's sitting in a john boat bass fishing-- the boat is huge with the physics.
Also wasn't mentioned if anyone's considering bass tournaments, many only allow a 8' maximum rod length (if that's still a rule) (not like many bass rods are longer than 7' 10" from what I've seen)
