Although I listen to songs of Sarah Jarosz ( and I'm With Her) for a like two years now (bumped into her while looking for a Kathy's Song tutorial) I dicovered this beautiful song just a few days ago .. and I can't stop listening to it .. an Angels voice - a great guitar player, accompanied by - I think Chris Thiles' band. A perfect combination.
This is part of the Blue Heron Suite. I recommend listening to it all the way through. I also really like listening to her first three albums straight through without skipping. I can't say that for other music I listen to.
heard this on some NPR show a year or so ago at a particularly difficult moment and it has stuck to me ever since.
I could listen to Sarah for hours repeatedly. I love her voice and the sensitivity of her music.

When Julian Lage hits the guitar, it‘s like the breaking of a dam.
All in all a great and moving song.
Her smile when she comes in after his guitar break is pure affirmation.

This is such a beautiful song and this is a spectacularly good performance of it. I don't know what it is but this song chokes me up. Julian Lage's part is a perfect addition to the song.

She is an awesome singer, songwriter and picker. Saw her in Houson in October and already got tickets for her next show there in May.

I think Sarah played in public, up to now, the whole "Blue Heron Suite" only one time. September 15.2017 at Fresh Grass with Jeff Picker and Anthony DaCosta.I found a excellent audience recording of it and I hope that she will release a CD.I can't wait to see Sarah, Sara and Aoife live May 7. in Berlin

A great duet with wonderful musicians.
I'd be surprised if this doesn't turn out to be one of the most watched videos from the spectacular Live From Here collection. Love, love this song and I can't seem to get enough of it. Soulful vocal performances, killer band (as usual....) and in the end yet another awesome SJ song. Love the smiles on her face when the band kicks it up a notch in the second half.....pure joy. Keep it coming , Sarah :)
I caught the end of this song on the radio earlier for the first time and after some sleuthing was fortunately able to find. The spelling of her last name threw me. Her voice makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. What a talented girl. Glad I found this.
