You can do this. My parents lost everything when my Dad lost his job at 57 and had a heart attack a few months later with no insurance, lost their house, auctioned off their possessions. Very difficult time but in the end things did work out for them. I myself am doing well, Retired at 60 on my husband's pension, he's 74 and has been retired 14 years and his health is declining. We are pretty much out of money but have our property and also the home my parents lived in that we built on our property that I use as an AirBnb Rental, so that's actually my new "Job". Good Luck.

Thank you for sharing your story. As I reflect on what we have and don't have, the one thing I always go back to is the "Four Walls" principal from Dave Ramsey. Shelter, Food, Utilities and Transportation. If you have those four things your going to be okay.

I can relate to you. I am 68, starting over after 35 years of marriage and have nothing. It is okay, though. Now it will ne how I want things.

Thank you for acknowledging. I take comfort knowing I'm not alone in this journey.
