Sarah's designs are so beautiful, no matter what part of the house she is designing. I enjoy watching how she and Tommy come up with ideas. And the color schemes are always on target. I am soooooo addicted to her design show. Her and Candice Olson are my favorite designers.
I enjoy watching the entire episodes of Sarah 101, but having this with just the before, plan, after is amazingly addictive. And useful! I hope you do this with the second season as well. There is a little condo done in greens, and a bathroom in stormy colors that I remember vividly and am looking forward to seeing again.
I love when you design these small rooms because it really showcases all the unique options in visual and graphic design. The color mixes are so unique.
Sarah is a quality designer and Tommy a perfect designer also and a team player! I have watched her from the the first show she was in! Excellent and quality design! Love all she does.
I love that pink sofa living room, i think i just have watched it about 6x. My second favorite is when she has to design on a tight budget, her creativity really comes up.
I loved this show when it originally aired and i am so thrilled to see it now. I enjoy the journey and learning their thought process. But mostly, i love to see the final design
My style might be mid-century or vintage with art on every available space...but I freely admit that I really appreciate the style and personality of Sarah and crew's designs. Always right for the client, which is incredibly important. I am certain that even with my specific tastes and my collection of vintage and varied pieces, Sarah, Tommy and crew could turn my home into a comfortable, stylish and curated showstopper....Bravo team Sarah!
As usual, your designs are incredible. I prefer a white on grey with a small splash of colour. Not busy , but upscale. Just starting a whole home renovation. Thanks for the inspiration!!!!!!
I had seen every one of those episodes already -- except the laundry room. And that's the one I really needed to see. Totally inspired by several elements there that I must implement!
ALL OF IT. ALLLLL OF IT. Love Sarah and her stuff. And Tommy too. :-) Everything she touches turns to gold. Loved all of these episodes, such great ideas!
I have told my husband that if Sarah Richardson ever rings our doorbell, please invite her in!! I would never have any other person touch our house's interior design!!
SARAH I love your show and your designs are perfection would love to have you and your guy helper you two are a great team .gotta run Sarah 101 is on and can't miss it. Yours truly. Kayla
Tommy and Sarah my favorite Designing Duo ! You two are awesome together and anything Designed by both of you is amazing! Colors, textures furniture, storage an all around A+. Thank you for sharing your work! If I had the choice or a home it would be designed by you! Choice of layering Patterns together is spot on! Grateful!
love the colors! i too have a pink sofa-soft pink velvet! i only disagree (for me) with the daybed choice in the living area. i entertain often & you can never have too much seating PLUS, i want guests to be comfy & stay awhile. you cant really get comfortable sitting, chatting, munching, drinking...in a seat with no back. low back sofas & chairs are perfect. they dont block the sight lines. also legs instead of skirts helps that feeling of openness. i think sofas & chairs are much more inviting for a relaxed atmosphere (& practical)!
Sarah is very, very good. I have noticed she seems (in 5 or so videos) to lean toward her own favored color palette, though. Pretty, but wouldn't it be nicer to ask the owner what his/her signature color would be for that room? I tend to love "Winter" so her spring/summer colors really jump out at me.
@@AbodeLDS It was Sarah's House season 3. She bought a 50 acre farm outside Toronto and called it Paisley Acres. It is in her book as well. It is my favorite series/season she did.
Wonderful transformations. However, poor Andrew, although I think he likes his room and said wow, I think he did want sophisticated bachelor style & didn't quiet get what he wanted. Note 19:09, he's not loving the pattern on that stunning bed, it's the show stopper & he hasn't mentioned it...
Beautiful bathroom but I'd like to see what the costs of each of the rooms she remodels. Who could afford such makeovers? I have a pedestal tub. I love the look but cleaning behind it if it's close to a wall is challenging.
We had a puppy that would creep back behind the tub. I suggested maybe we should make him a dust mop suit. He grew and it was forgotten. For fifty years.
The first kitchen looks much better now , why Americans desire the island is beyond me ? this one kitchen was dying for that to be removed and thank God she did just that . The second room .....WOW is all I can say . an astounding difference ! The third one again WOW . that shower enclosure is stunning . the chrome accessories are spot on.The vanity table is excellent and i feel that its now a very feminine bathroom .
I really like Sarah Richardson and Tommy's work, but I sometimes question a few of their choices. *The bathroom reno,* for example: ~Taking away the toilet's 'mini room' might have opened things up, but there's a lot to be said for having it separate, with its own efficient exhaust fan, so the other person can use the rest of the bathroom without your sounds and smells all over. ~The tub replacement seems *only* visually appealing. The old tub had whirlpool jets(!) but not the new one. Seems a big downgrade for anyone who's ever had sore muscles or joint issues. Also, "free standing" is still as awkward and useless as when Victorian clawfoot tubs were invented. Nowhere to put ANYTHING when in the tub---not even the soap. ~I'm no fan of dual sinks, but given that every, fricking couple seems to HAVE to have twin sinks in their ensuites, their elimination seems another impracticality. Maybe all of the above were discussed with the homeowners beforehand (likely). In that case, I hope they knew what they are getting in to.
Hey Be. I'm a fan of Sarah's a Tommy's work also. I hope you don't mind my input on your comments for just a little healthy back and forth. ~ There is something to be said for separate water closets, and for all of the reasons you stated. However, speaking for someone with a water closet, the size of the bathroom is also important when having one. I think the space dictated the elimination of the toilet room; and maybe the homeowners aren't ever in the bathroom at the same time. ~ On the tub, I'm sure they checked with the homeowners before placing that tub. After living with a jetted tub for a while in the past, I found that the noise was too much to "relax" and soak in. Keeping the big tub hot while soaking was an issue too. Also, I was raised with a clawfoot tub and loved it immensely. I guess to each his own. ~ I have to agree with you on the dual sinks. One thing I really love is that Sarah and Tommy made a place for towels! I can't tell you how many bathroom remodels forget that people need to dry off! 😉
should've skipped the dragon print in the loft - it doesn't overcome the carpet and mexican blanket. You'd have been better off with the same royal blue from accent in upholstery for the headboard and footboard of the bed.
I liked what you did in the kids rooms. However the dining room and living rooms and kitchens are way way way too over patterned and the pops of color are great but too much Man I would have panic attack and a migraine.
I like her current aesthetic much better. Heavy moldings on top of cabinets that don’t reach the ceiling-not for me. Clients didn’t want beige or stools, and got beige and stools, so that’s odd.
You would think that home owners would figure out not to make exact spaces for appliances. Appliances change sizes mostly standard larger by an inch or two. The first kitchen had a refrigerator space that was too small. Give yourself some wiggle room. This is just making future work for designers. When my wall oven craps the bed I will need to buy a restored vintage…it is easily three inches smaller than newer models.
I wish people would put dates prominently on their videos. The current date is March 2022, but this season was first aired in 2011 -- eleven years ago. That explains why some of the "current style" looks dated already. I prefer to not chase trends for just this reason. More classic designs don't look this dated only ten to fifteen years later.
That rubber floor with the raised dots is very difficult to clean. The intersection of the floor and the wall of the cylinder is a crevice that defies mopping and collects all the dirt, hair, and grime creating a black frame around every dot. Nightmare!
There are many conflicting opinions about stocks and their prospects in the coming years; I aim for short-term solid gains from market corrections, and I'd definitely hop on the ride if I knew a couple of things about day-trading, That is not on my speed right now i guess.... I'm just looking to make the right moves to help me grow and protect my $670,000 reserve from inflation that looks so scary.
it's all hype! best to ignore the trend at the moment whether bullish or bearish, and stick to a proper trading plan preferably with expertise assistance.
Yeah, another reason I enjoy my day-to-day market decisions is that I'm being guided by a portfolio-coach. Given that their entire skill set is built around going long and short at the same time, both employing profit-oriented strategy and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downtrends, it's nearly impossible not to outperform. Since using a coach for two years and counting, I've earned more than $1.5 million in return on investment.
Thanks for sharing, I just looked her up on the web and I would say she really has an impressive background in investing. I will write her an e-mail shortly.....
Nope. Mosaic detail is not centered with tub. Stripes in floor do not line up with vanity gables. Vanity gables look rigid and unfinished. Soft gold colour of cabinets doesn’t go with anything else. Chair is not modern, just weird. Too much stuff in there, space is chopped up.
I am on a fixed income and now with inflation at 10% do you really think I can afford to redo my home? I have been needing a new bedroom set for years, new windows, my driveway paved, a new shed because the one I have is falling apart. I can't afford anything. Maybe Pelosi with her $25000 refrigerator and $15 a pint ice cream will help me out. After all with her insider trading on the pharmaceutical stocks, didn't she make millions? Maybe ByeDone will help me out. He used his position in government all his life to make millions and owns how many mansions? Please......

Good to know! Season 2 starts with weekly uploads very soon
All of these episodes were my favorite. Sarah adding these personal touches are Amazing. I've always love her. Lol😀
I love that green kitchen
What a great way to binge watch! More please!
Sarah Richardson is hands down the best designer ever. She creates timeless, classy, beauitful, warm, comfortable spaces. I am in awe of her talent.

💝 yup!!!!
Interior design 101 indeed. This video covers it all.

We're now airing her very first show Room service every week - Check out the episodes that are out so far for abit of nostalgia

More Tommy to come!
@@AbodeLDS yayyy! Thanks, Abode!!!

It's not even my birthday & Abode has given me a fantastic gift. Thank you!
Our pleasure!

Thank you so much Streela!

Awesome in every possible way!
Thank you so much 😀

Season Two Is Coming Very Soon :)
The clock is eye catching, very smart.
I'm glad you solved the stairway safety issue for the baby!
Oh you know in two years the seventies kitchen will be trending. I have a 1955 Steel kitchen and I’m glad it was never messed with.
Love This Redesgn!
love the little 'transom' window in the shower
All beautiful !
I would die to have them design my home.
Thank God Tommy is back now I am too!
This lady has style for miles!
You Can Say That Again!
I think buying dried flowers is like buying pre-dust
I wish Sarah and Tommy would come to North Carolina. Aren’t you cold up there? You can visit and we can go to a hockey game.
Beautiful! Love all of your design styles! Do you ever come to the US?
I had such a big crush & still on her. Love Sarah.
That loft bedroom was my favorite Sarah makeover to date!
The guy’s loft bedroom: why hot pink and florals?!?!?!?
I hope you run the Paisley Acres series too!

WOW!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE color. To me it says come in and play. Instead of don’t sit there I haven’t put the plastic over the furniture.
Are you in Canada? That green reminds me of my parents' 1970's home, it is horrible!
Wonderful transformations.

Yep. Answer my own question the show is about a decade old completely explains why everything is so dated
Hate ”decorative” buttons - especially on cushions. Hate it. 🙈

That dark wood cabinet on the bathroom wall makes it looked dated. Would be better with open shelves.
Bedroom looks like a girls room !
That family room with the grey and yellow curtains was pretty, but so impractical for a family with littles. I’d never want kids in there
