There is a big gap for Kishane Thompson to get to 9.69s much less to surpass 9.58s, which is an even bigger gap. ALSO, Bolt once ran 9.63s while sprinting for around 70 - 80m and slowed at the end to beat his chest in celebration. If you think Bolt's record is getting broken then you're not thinking logically. Kishane Thompson is fast, BUT you just don't understand how FASTTTT 9.58s is. Just think about it. That record is not getting broken in our time.

Second he said he missed two or three weeks to heal from surgery that removed the thorns following that accident which were considered minor injuries and his coach said it didn't affect his running that season. Every runner has stories about how in practice they ran faster and broke records. your telling me because he missed two weeks of training and wasn't fully fit that means he would have run 9:40s. Its a ridiculous theory. EVERY SINGLE RUNNER OR FAN CAN USE THAT AS AN EXCUSE. it only counts when it matters. That is literally what being an athlete and the fastest and best means. You did it when it matters, Mind Body and Spirit to break the record when it matters and is official. it is not the only time Bolt or other runners wasn't able to train. Accumulatively Bolt and other runners have missed years of training because of injuries, mental breakdowns, family etc... So your emotional attempt to pedestalize and make Bolt a super human or GOD just doesn't work. Calm down and just give Bolt his respect for what he has accomplished. And ALL records that matter will be broken over time. 🤔
He actually missed 2 months of training following an car accident. It’s not excuse it’s facts. The whole world knew that had Usain Bolt ran through the tape it wud be 9.4 easily. It’s just facts

Second he said he missed two or three weeks to heal from surgery that removed the thorns following that accident which were considered minor injuries and his coach said it didn't affect his running that season. He may have gotten to 9:52 at best even if he did decelerate 5 meters out. I am not taking anything away from The Goat Bolt but his records one day will fall is all I'm saying you sound like your making him out to be a GOD is all I'm saying. His records will fall. i give it within 10 years or sooner.. in fact experts say they believe one day the 9 second time will be broke. they say probably not in our lifetime though.
