Tried cleaning the fan. Nothing. Seen your video. Cleaned the heat sink. Wow worked a treat. I haven't been able to immerse myself into so many games because of the fan noise. I was getting bored of gaming. You helped me relight that fire. Right on brother. Subbed.
I seriously have to thank you. The screws i used were T8 security screwdriver and it was a hassle at first because i had to order one but eventually i made my ps4 shut up and its good as new
Very good! Ive been cleaning my model # 7115b with a light pressured air compressor and when I play Daysgone it gets loud with 30-45 minutes and feels pretty warm. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks.
If you've kept it clean then the next thing to do is the thermal paste. But I don't believe there's any way to stop the console getting loud, almost all the PS4 Pro consoles do get a little loud. It's also quite normal for them to get warm.
Vacuum cleaner does not make enough force to remove all dust. You can try it, but I recommend this: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Compressed-Air-Duster-Can-Computer-Laptop-Keyboard-Cleaner-125ml/114252776038?hash=item1a99ff0266:g:dvQAAOSwsrBe3jPN
Hi all folks are you blowing the dust out or sucking the air with vacuum? You can cause damage with vacuum on the wiring connections & motherboards. Why don't you take the motherboards out & dust them down & replace the thermal paste & thermal pads & then clean the heatsink last. I'm very sure then the jet engine noise will stop. Blowing air spreads the dust surely, this is not good advice. Please clean the consoles properly. Lol

Glad it helped :)
Defiantly one of the best tutorials on cleaning PS4 pro. I’ve seen plenty and this is great. Thanks bro
Looks alot more simple than other vids that have you tearing your whole rig apart. Thanks man! Gonna clean her today!
Thanks!
The problem is the dust builds up on the other side of the heat sink. That’s why you want to take it all apart. He did half of the job.
In that case, you would have to remove the motherboard... clogged clumps of dust on the fan side of heat sink can be removed with tweezers.
Fucking finally, a video that shows you how to clean and get to the heat sink without making you disassemble the entire damn system.
Wow, cleaning the heatsink was easier than I thought

Torx T8 security screwdriver

Thermal paste done. Have you ever taken your controller apart to fix it?
Yes, I have before, but i haven't made any videos about it yet
What tools did you use
You will need TR9 Torx Security Screwdriver, Small Needle Nose Pliers and maybe a tooth brush.
I need a toque t80, do you know anywhere I could find one?
Hi, if you meant torque t8 (not t80), that its easy to find it on eBay or some local hardware store.
But, you will need TR9 Torx Security Screwdriver, not T8
Thanks and yeah I've been fucking up lately. Thanks for the info.
My screwdriver stopped working right when I got to theast screw :)
I was wondering if I could use vacuum cleaner instead of blower
Am i allowed to

Of course its "better" to do it with a full teardown, but this is "good enough" if someone won't take it apart.
Do you have to remove the hard drive to clean the fan thing
Power supply thing my bad
Nope, don't need to
As showed at 3:50, yes, you do.
This is definitely NOT the way to clean the heat sink (most important component to clean)
Its your oppinion. In my other video, you can see the heat sink is fully cleaned.
