I had a passenger showing up at my check-in desk 30 minutes after his fllight's departure time. He demanded that I call the pilot and tell him to come back. 😂
😂😂😂
He turned up after the flight departed....tough s*** on him
Did you pretend to call the pilot?
Comedy team who do "Little Britain" do "COME FLY WITH ME" HILLARIOUS!!!😂😅😂😂😂👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
THAT would be GOLD!!! Boomer will be splitting his sides XDDD
He needs to watch a few of these episodes to get the context for that show
it's a lot more realistic than you think - trust me lol
I support this.
Oh yeah! 🤣 That was a great series, if you'll pardon the pun.
Amazing how people turn up to an airport without their passport and expect to board anyway lol
Like it’s not an important piece of documentation 😂
And that family came across as the well off and educated among us 🤣
Thought that was Arthur TV, he's actually come quite a long way in the UK scene, working with big YT names.
Oh I used to LOVE this show when I was a kid. Where I grew up, our house is near the local airport so I saw planes taking off/landing all the time and I used to go to the cafe at the airport (pre 9/11) to watch them. Post 9/11 it was just a seeing them from the house. I also used to love this docuseries called Airport, which was all set in London Heathrow. It made me want to work there when I was younger, but now i'm studying to be a nurse.
I'm imagining the French cat girl shouting "What the f****ck" Plebs style!
I remember watching an episode of this when the film crew were in Liverpool airport on September 11th 2001 and some French knob was asking for his compensation when every plane on the planet had been grounded. What a helmet.
Every plane in the USA was grounded, not the entire planet! My step dad still flew Amsterdam to Edinburgh.
I once missed a flight taking bus back to airport in Ireland after I asked how long the journey would be and the optimistic Irish tourist information centre said, "About three hours" Six hours later it was obvious I had missed the flight, the airport staff were wonderful and got me on another flight for just an extra £27.00 GDP. No point in being rude to the staff, it was not their fault.
I started watching Arthurtv because of these compilations. He has gotten a lot more confident on camera since this video and does his own commentary.
I used to love this show 😊 a slapper is someone who sleeps around
Slapper is a derogatory term suggesting a woman sleeps around, is easy.
Or do you mean half a lager on a friday night?
@@kujouk No.
yeah, and is that not associated with the fact those sorts of women will "Slap" way too much makeup on, in order get hook ups?
@@georgeadams6254 No it's not and you sound very young.
@@adoculos4521 cheers, dad
I absolutely loved this show, i used to get home from school as fast as possible to watch 2 full episodes, even got me into aviation 👍🏻👌🏻🇬🇧
I had the passport argument with Easyjet once - they flew me down Glasgow to Southampton without id but wouldn't fly me back. I walked over to British Airways - do you need photo id? Only of the queen sir, we take cash.
I get being mad and pissed off that your flight has been delayed. I've been through a similar experience this past week. But anyone who's not an idiot knows that it's not the airport worker's fault. There's no need to shout and finger point at them. it's rude and aggressive, and in my book is grounds for evicting them from the building. By all means complain and do so formally, leave a bad review. But don't treat people like shit.
The thing is, people back then were generally more rude if you look at basically any old documentary. I also think that people didn’t realise they’d be on tv infront of the whole nation, so they showed their true colours, people nowadays (generally) behave better when they know there’s a chance someone is recording them.
Plus there is a lot more in the way of security now, both people on the ground and cameras. Plus reminders about staff not having to put up with abuse. The latter were probably initiated because of programmes like this.@@user-ki2jp1cp3o

Do they? Because from what I've seen people have recently stopped pretending and act however they want regardless of who's watching. There's been a huge spike in this degeneracy ever since 2020.

That basketball bit killed me 😂😂
Now you gotta to watch the little britain boys show come fly with me 😂😂 mock of this sort of show.
Airline is my guilty pleasure. I love watching airline, it was often on when I was a kid. All the episodes are on UA-cam. Come fly with me is a good sitcom that’s basically making fun of this concept of show. It’s also interesting watching the episodes pre 9/11 and seeing passengers get invited to the cockpit to meet the pilots and then post 9/11 that’s not a thing anymore.
Totally agree. Post 9/11, all water bottles, shoes and metal objects have had to be checked. In the 2000s it took a lot of getting used to it. Now, post Brexit and Pandemic, I'd say that it's the airlines rather than the customers who need to get a grip. In the 2000s it was the reverse.
Same, I love Airline, I used to watch it back in the day when it was on TV before going on holiday abroad and it used to get me so excited and really in the holiday spirit

It's so funny watching a pre-9/11 airline show. How incensed that woman was for having to have a passport. "What do you think I am?" Like nobody would even ask that question now.
Man I can’t believe my suggestion made it here! Theres so many more to watch you should do a few more 😂Love watching your videos King 🫡👑
_"That sounds like somebody playing basketball"_ Boomer I don't think I have laughed so much at something you've said. 😂
Hey, Tony Robinson did some voice over work, while he wasn't doing Time Team. I'm surprised this show started as long ago as '98.
Arthur rocks!
Haha the frog and scouser trying to understand each other
More of these king Boomer. I used to love these when I was younger. There's another series called "airport" which is about the whole airport, this one, airline is just about the airline Easy Jet.
You can find full episodes of both on UA-cam (well you can in the uk) x
If you arrive late then tough shit
You'll be getting that silver placard soon boomer 🎉🎉🎉😂 congratulations in advance!! 100k subs man. Really cuffed for you both and well deserved. I think I've been with you since just 8k subs mr&mrs B. Here's to another 100k 💪👊🏼👃🙏🏻💙🔥
This show was awesome
I remember this - reminds me of when my kids were little - early 90s happy days 😍
Please watch Yorkshire Airlines skit 😆
Brings back memories of the troubles I had getting on a flight I had booked, and which I was early for, from Madrid airport to Londdon, because the paperwork was not in order. It took me 4 days to sort the mess out, , which meant 3 nights sleeping in the departure lounge...
Basketball laughing got me too! Nice one KB. By the way, Fresh Meat! good call my friend, looking forward to more. Cheers man
Hahahaha you make me laugh. Love from London.
Back in the day, this show convinced me that I would never work in anything even resembling customer service.
Life tip - if your ever on a long haul flight be incredibly polite and nice to the cabin crew and they will do the same back because most people are assholes so if you treat them good they will make sure your looked after in return
Arthur TV!! Love him
I remember when they brought in Photo ID to fly around these parts. I used to fly to Prestwick Glasgow from Dublin with No ID at all (late 90s). Then they brought in the need for Photo ID with no notice. 18 of us flying over for a weekend of football and beer were stopped. Eventually, they had to let us all on, so I feel that posh guys pain...hes still a knob tho.
Big up Arthur
The amount of people that don’t know how bank transfers work. Just because it shows as a deduction straight away doesn’t mean it leaves your account straight away; which is the EXACT reason why they also can’t transfer it back straight away. If you no longer want to make the transfer call the bank itself to see if it’s still in the timeframe to stop it.
Fun Fact: This was one of the shows which would inspire Ricky Gervais and Steve Merchant to write The Office as a mockumentary where these shows would follow ordinary people by a camera team and the staff would become c list celebs and play up to the cameras
Also VO is Tony Robinson KB
Oh and I believe some episodes of this were narrated by BALDRICK :P That makes it even more fun for me!
May not be the same show, but there was one episode where an American guy flying to Chicago had a violin case with him. As he was checking it in, he joked "There's actually a tommy gun in there!", and he was detained and held in the cells overnight 😄
Airport check-in staff take comments like that rather seriously, as he found out to his cost...!
Bro your basketball joke was 💯🏀
I missed a flight at Luton to Glasgow once, though fortunately I lived in Luton at the time
That (football) woman sounded like a scalded dog!
I think or the dozen or so compilations Arthur has done my favourite was the 5th (if i recall correctly) ith the couple who arrived in Newcastle but their bags didn't... The reveal was hilarious
We don’t have rabies in this country and if you don’t have a pet passport and bring it in correctly, then cat goes into quarantine.
I would always had ID with me but in Australia to fly domestically you don't need to show ID at any point, you just need a boarding pass to get on the plane. You don't need to talk to anyone, even the checking baggage is self-serve.
2:34 🤣😅
watch the rest of Arthur Tv airport freakouts they are hilarious
It reminds me of Jeremy Beadle and the pranks he used to do on people. I'm not sure if this channel has reacted to any of those shows yet. I think it was called Beadles About. There were a few pranks set up to wind up celebrities if I remember correctly.
Yes boomer needs to do Beadles about that show was legendary
Did you know Jeremy had a massive penis .. but on the other hand it was quite small
From the thumbnail, I thought it was a Harry Enfield skit 😂
I love the episode with the woman who didn’t hear her flight being called for boarding because she was sat in the bar. The woman insinuates its EasyJet’s fault, but the EasyJet supervisor points out that the other 200 odd passengers all made it ok 😂
Ahoy boomer... one of favourite skits by the Little Britain guys is the Airline spoof show... the drugs unit one is a particular favourite. I liked Amsterdam girl... funny. Interesting side note the Voiceover Guy is actually Tony Robinson who was the actor who played Baldrick in Blackadder who you will no doubt be more familiar with to your great pleasure at some point in the future.
A friend at work showed me a video of a woman who had a meltdown at an airport, she flailed around on the floor screaming and took her clothes off, then was fighting off security who were worried about hurting her as she became increasingly unpredictable. She was so hysterical she couldn't even speak anymore. I was stun-locked watching this happen.
Boom Boom Boom Boom.........
I missed a flight at Munich airport, just chatted with the guy working the bar all night, got a couple of free pints and caught the earliest flight back home in the morning, no tantrums, no fuss! If you turn up late then that's entirely a you problem, not the airline
Haven't done much travelling, but I've been to US, Sweden, England, Denmark, Italy, the then Yugoslavia, etc., with no problems (though taking off in a 6-seater between two jumbojets is no fun). What I don't understand is why no one has ever stamped my passport (and that's since 1978).
interesting fact, the narrator from the program itself is Tony Robinson of Blackadder ( baldrick )
What that clip of the middle class family with no ID needed was a clip of Basil Fawlty shouting "You SNOBS!!" Lol
You should watch come fly with me it’s based of this show
PLEASE watch more Arthur TV
There’s some really crazy people out there folks
Useless security staff
King boomer and ArthurTV is like my two worlds colliding
2:27 That was good
Love the posh guy whos onviously educated and probably a high responsibility job, doesnt know you need photo ID for a domestic flight. ALWAYS been the case.
Basketball 😂😂😂
This happens a lot i work in a airport you have to remain calm you have a job to do i hate to have a unhappy passenger it makes our job harder we have a lot of pressure as it is
“It is a wise thing to be polite; consequently, it is a stupid thing to be rude. To make enemies by unnecessary and wilful incivility, is just as insane a proceeding as to set your own house on fire. For politeness is like a counter; an avowedly false coin, with which it is foolish to be stingy.” - Arthur Schopenhauer (The Wisdom of Life, Counsels, & Maxims) Ho-hum...
LOL! "This is why I stay at home as much as I can." Yeh, you and 330 million other Americans 🙂
Brilliant choice, ppl can be weird 😂😂😂😂😂😂
These ppl deserve footballers wages , for sure ...
Sounds like a basket ball game 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 spot on !!
Some people are just next level bonkers
CHASING HER!!!.OMG!!!!😵😵😵 My step mom was from Paris!!! OH BOY DID SHE GET PISSED IN FRENCH!!! (STILL SOUNDED PRETTY)
Have you ever seen Come Fly With Me, the Little Britain parody of this series?
Arthur TV has some good videos!
The first clip tried to get through security without their tickets and nearly got arrested
People who turn late Think plane just wait for them
Arthur TV voice over 😅
Please react to 15 Storeys High. Brilliant comedy with Sean Lock & Benedict Wong. For some reason hardly anyone remembers it.
Looks like easy jet
A Slapper is a derogatory term for a 'loose' woman.
Whenever dealing with ANY staff people need to remember its not their fault. Nearly every time they are just applying rules either company rules or laws. Screams and complaints should be saved for managers, directors and MP's!
I've spent many a night in airports and train stations - no big deal, really. Last time was a 17 hour wait in China on my way back home 👍
Will Smith is a slapper! and so is his wife!! ;D
lmao the basketball
Did he have to write to him to pay for it though?
You should try watching Come Fly With Me, it's a parody programme, taking the piss out of programs like this, starting Matt Lucas and David Walliams.
Slapper means tart/slag
Used to love this show. Having worked in the transport industry, you know pretty much on your first day whether you take the abuse or not. The arrogance of some people was off the scale.
Not the squeaky woman, I’ve watched that clip so many times and I still find it funny, and then you comparing it to the noise on the basketball court 💀💀
The middle class family were a disgrace. The arrogance and self entitlement was sickening , as were their disrespectful opinions of the airline staff.
Yeah.......
if you like this, look up "a life of grime", mr trebus is a legend XD
SO GLAD I DON'T FLY!!!!😵😵😵😵
I'm happy to call Ronnie a legend, he's redeemed himself very sufficiently in my books.
The 9/11 episode (I believe clips or the episode are on UA-cam) obviously caused a major issue with flights. The airline episode filmed during 9/11 showed people getting irate clearly not comprehending the seriousness of what had occurred and no amount of begging, crying or arguing was going to open airspace and get flights going. The staff didn't really know much more than anyone else given it was a developing situation etc. Felt sorry for the staff possibly on the toughest day for airports across the world.
😂👍👍
PLEASE REACT TO FLIGHT OF THE CONCORDES!!!
I fully support quarantining that cat. The UK is pretty much the only country in the world which is free of rabies. Don't bring any bloody animal here without quarantine
3:40 He looks more like Paul Putner....
We eradicated rabies from the UK so yeah, don't try and smuggle your cat in.
