In this video I cover the GPIB interface cards, software and computers I use to control my instruments in my home lab.
For basic use you need to download the NI 488.2 driver that will install the driver and support applications for Windows.

Hope it helped, it took me a week or two to track down all the software I needed to install. While National Instruments no longer supports Windows versions earlier than 8, you can still download all their older software from their FTP site.
