    This belief he seems to have in himself, is similar to that of a VERY small number of great actors. They play the most difficult parts, written by the most difficult writers, and they believed they could do it from the day they started in the job. 'Discovering' this confidence may be possible, but to have it from the first may be what makes him so 'sure'. What a wonderful word - to be "sure. John.

    RONNIE has started slowly in many tournaments since the last few years. I have noticed that many times. He let his opponents win many frames before he could fight back strongly and impressively. I understand that Ronnie is gettin older now. This is his major weakness and sometimes it was too late to beat elite opponents like Judd Trump and Neil Robertson. Hope that he will beat Selby in the final though.

  • @niltomega2978
    @niltomega2978 3 роки тому +3

    Ronnie is just amazing. I was never even aware of snooker until about 3 years ago. I shoot pool at my sisters a lot with friends and we are pretty competitive. I started looking on UA-cam for some pointers and noticed these snooker videos. At first I'm thinking "What the Hell why didn't that guy simply cut that ball down the rail?" Then I noticed the table seemed awfully damn large. Then I google the table size and its 12 feet by 6?? AND the pockets are tighter? Well now I have a new appreciation for the absurd skill involved. I mean the positioning they leave themselves shot after shot. I have actually improved my game just WATCHING these guys ! ...and then we have Ronnie who is in a league of his own...though Trump and some others are right up there as well.
    I wish I could find a Snooker table to play on here in Ohio. They seem kind of rare. I hate to say it but I don't think even the best pool player has the skills of the top 30 snooker players.
