    Very interesting and informative. It now makes sense why the surrounding streets have Buckstone in them. Thanks for this.

    Hello Martin, My partner and I are filmmakers from the USA and we enjoy your UA-cam videos. We will be coming to Scotland this summer to document some stone circles and astronomical alignments. We wonder if you would be interested in being interviewed for our film project. We'd love to set up a time and place to make this work if you're available. We'll be spending time in Aberdeenshire, Isle of Lewis and the Orkney Islands in June/July. Any chance we could meet up?

      @@BeforeCaledonia We're not planning on it, but we could if need be. We're also wondering if you're going to be going out to any stone circles where we could meet up? We'll be spending time in Aberdeenshire, Isle of Lewis, and Orkney Islands.

    Excellent video do you drive to these sites or do you use public transport ?

    • @BeforeCaledonia
      @BeforeCaledonia  5 місяців тому +2

      I used public transport to get to Edinburgh, then walked to the
      sites from the city centre, The Bore Stone, The Buckstane & The Caiy Stane. It was quite a few miles with my camera equipment backpack, I was knackered.

      @@BeforeCaledonia excellent I travel with my young son to a lot of historical sites and as I don't drive I have to rely on public transport and so many places I just can't get to unfortunately

      @BeforeCaledonia  5 місяців тому

      @@francismccann3811 Yes, I totally understand. There is some sites which are accessible with public transport but the vast majority, a car is needed.
