Hello Nicky, good to hear from you, I hope you are doing ok. I also made a video on the Caiy Stane and the Bore Stone. I am going to nip over to Edinburgh soon and visit Ravenswood Avenue Stone as well. Best wishes for 2025, Martin.
Hello Martin, My partner and I are filmmakers from the USA and we enjoy your UA-cam videos. We will be coming to Scotland this summer to document some stone circles and astronomical alignments. We wonder if you would be interested in being interviewed for our film project. We'd love to set up a time and place to make this work if you're available. We'll be spending time in Aberdeenshire, Isle of Lewis and the Orkney Islands in June/July. Any chance we could meet up?
@@BeforeCaledonia We're not planning on it, but we could if need be. We're also wondering if you're going to be going out to any stone circles where we could meet up? We'll be spending time in Aberdeenshire, Isle of Lewis, and Orkney Islands.
I used public transport to get to Edinburgh, then walked to the sites from the city centre, The Bore Stone, The Buckstane & The Caiy Stane. It was quite a few miles with my camera equipment backpack, I was knackered.
@@BeforeCaledonia excellent I travel with my young son to a lot of historical sites and as I don't drive I have to rely on public transport and so many places I just can't get to unfortunately
I've come here via the Buckstane...Ah...a remembrance of two episodes in time...yhanks Martin😃🌠
A brand new Huly Hill video is coming soon.....
Very interesting and informative. It now makes sense why the surrounding streets have Buckstone in them. Thanks for this.

@@francismccann3811 Yes, I totally understand. There is some sites which are accessible with public transport but the vast majority, a car is needed.
