  • WOWIEEEEEEE I am in love with this book. This might have been my most immersive reading experience since I was a kid and obsessed with Greek mythology. I'm so glad I gave it a chance. It just makes me so happy to see a gay love story become a New York Times bestseller. It's beautifully, lyrically written, but not at all difficult or dense. I cried like a dang baby, and I hope you did/will too. This book is all I want to talk about now. I just wanna say this and this and this about it!! Tell me your thoughts on this gorgeous, tragic tale. AND DON'T SPOIL CIRCE.

Aww it’s great to hear that you had this experience. Feeling that childlike excitement and being so sucked in to the story. I miss this! I totally get the desire to wipe your mind clean and read it again for the first time. Loved this video! Great thoughts, the structure, the video looks perfect and you are beautiful!

So true, yet my first thought was, 'that's what Helen of Troy must have looked like!'.

Hi Saoirse, just responded to your pick Osamu Dazai... thanks again for the recommendation. Currently on a review binge of the rest of your channel. Fabulously engaging and insightful. Gareth, Dublin

If you’re into Greek Mythology and sci-fi ,.. you might like the book Illium by Dan Simmons. It’s my absolute favorite book!.. it merges Greek mythology with epic sci-fi and a little Shakespeare as well. I’ve read it three times, and there’s a sequel called Olympos that I still haven’t read because I just don’t want the story to be over. I highly recommend it, Saoirse! P.S. you look stunning!!

omg I was JUST thinking about buying this book.
''I would recognise you in total darkness, were you mute and I deaf. I would recognise you in another lifetime entirely, in different bodies, different times. And I would love you in all of this, until the very last star in the sky burnt out into oblivion''.”
