Niiice selection👌🤌 You really should give Initio's Side Effect a try, such a stunner and my favorite from Initio, but they are all so beautifully and well blended... Angelique Noir, most are saying Spiriteuse Double Vanillè, love that you said AN, such a stunning, green vanilla, Guerlain's vanilla is the best for me😋🤪😘
I absolutely LOVE your perfume videos. I have loved perfume since I can remember. I am 62 and I always got in trouble for getting into my mom’s perfume (as a toddler). Thank you! I just wish UA-cam had smell so we could smell them with you!
I like the way Marlena describes each perfume. When she was announcing the new company that she was working on at first thought it was going to be a perfume brand. Nevertheless I'm glad that there is a MUG school. Marlena truly seems to be a teacher at heart. I always come away from her videos feeling like I learned something.
She makes you think she describe them good as she is smelling the perfumes but she has the notes on her phone it easy to read a note of vanilla and say I smell vanilla ....
Ok soooo new brand HAS to be fragrance with the way she is talking about it and I AM HERE FOR IT. I am very into niche fragrance so I either have or have had all of these and they're great picks! Here's my current top 10 (and I don't think I can pick an order..): 1. The House of Oud- Wabisabi- this is incredibly unique, it's spicy/fresh and has that zip from the wasabi note- and I also got to meet the brand creator in Dallas- so awesome! 2. Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait- I'll always ride for this lol however, I would like to try Electimuss Trajan as i found it to be a good dupe, it's next to my list 3. Narcotica Narco Oasis- tropical, fruity- smells like someone rich and YES 4. Le Labo The Matcha 26- So cozy! Literally smells like a warm, spiced tea- inviting! 5. Zadig and Voltaire- This is her! This one is creamy, slightly laconic- and also smells like a hug. 6. Eris Perfumes- Delta of Venus- fresh and tropical with some unique notes- beautifully made! 7. Ormond Jayne- Levant- fruity, floral, classy girlie vibes- so nice and such a compliment getter 8. Nishane- Wulong Cha- fresh, bright, and citrus tea scent.. idc what season, I'll wear this every day 9. Amouage- Guidance- HOLY GUACAMOLE this is stunning.. I can't describe the notes, only my experience and it's etherial and so expertly blended.. 100/10 10. Killian- Angel's Share- Spicy, boozy, like a hot apple cider spiked with rum- 10/10 and is a BEAST.. that fragrance puts in work when I wear it- 12+ hours! 11. Sorry there is 11 because I forgot about my husbands collection and it's Scents of Wood- Plum in Cognac- hot diggity dog is it sexy, sweet, and a little smoky in the best way! Honorable mention: Zimmer Strange Paradise- its a coconut, pineapple tropical journey and so delicious! P.S- Marlena.. if you need someone to test- I am free lol

Coach Dreams Sunset has been my ride or die for the last year or so. Every time I wear it, complete strangers compliment me on it, so I always keep a mini in my purse in case they want to try it. The women at my specialist surgeon's office went crazy for it and one ordered a bottle while I had my appointment she loved it so much. It's such a beautiful fruity floral scent suit with the tonka bean base. I loooove it.
@@FitChickGlowsufff ya, Spiriteuse Double Vanillè, Angelique Noir, Tonka Imperiale are my absolute faves, as a vanilla (creamy tonka;) lover, so, so good, Guerlain just does the most beautiful vanilla, even the vanilla in the mon Guerlain line, is stunning too...😋🤌🤪 But I got last week the best middle eastern gourmand for 30 Euros, Khamrah an Angels Share inspired by, ufff, highly recommend you checking that one out, if you adore those fragrances up there👌🤌👌

Half of these fragrances are selling for 40%-50% of the retail price on several of the discount fragrance websites. So.. they are affordable if you go that route. I rarely pay full price unless it's something really special.
I disagree. I dislike the need to always make an affordable list. These are niche fragrances. They don’t compare and to be forced to come up with affordable alternatives seems unauthentic. These are her favorites. If you are unable to purchase these recommendations, learn something about the notes and look up others similar. Or find another video with affordable fragrances.
Have you tried YSL Libre La Parfum? Similar to intense but better! One of my all time favorites! I have it on right now layered with Bath and Body’s Fireside Flurries.
Perfect timing Marlena, I’m getting married nov 17 and I’m trying to find a new wedding perfume! Right now I’m testing parfum de Marly althair and Bianca latte by giardini de toscana. I’m a vanilla gourmand lover😜

Love these videos Marlena! We have very similar tastes and Rouge Smoking is one of my absolute favorites! I adore some from Xerjoff like Dama Bianca and Lira. Diptyque’s Eau Duelle is also a beautiful vanilla blended with cardamom and juniper. Looking forward to your next fragrance video!❤
I would love if you partnered with KathleenLights to do a discussion on parfumes. Like you she has a large collection and I think a video with both of you would be amazing.
I love how you review perfumes. A lot of folk do too much comparisons and faffing about . You stick to the perfume itself. I have never heard of a lot of them but the way you review makes me curious and know what I may or may not like. This is how to do perfume review ❤❤❤
MARLENAAAA WE NEEED TO KNOW WHATS ON UR EYES PLZZZZ😢 WHAT EYESHADOW U WEARING IM IN LOVE🎉 U LOOK SO BEAUTIFUL ❤❤❤❤I’m saving alllll those perfumes to get
Wow, thank you! First time here. Here to stay! Great video & selection. Have you tried the Celine line? Would love to Hera what you have to say?!? Thank you
I’d love to see you do a review on Dossier Perfumes: I bought three from Dossier recently; They are Fruity Orange (Inspired by Clinique Happy), Aquatic Vanilla (Inspired by Juliette has a Gun’s Vanilla Vibes) and Spicy Orchid (Inspired by Tom Ford’s Black Orchid). I don’t own a lot of expensive perfumes but one of my favorites is Marc Jacobs Daisy.
Very description but I'd love to see a top ten if designer fragrances perhaps. Don't if these, I'll just never ... I just won't, lol. I would be so out of place in Saks Fifth Avenue... Way out of my price range. Even designer is sometimes a bit too pricey but you know, for us low class folk (I'm only kidding people:)). Please and thank you?!
@@MarlenaStell , ty! And I apologize for all the typos. What the heck?? Yikes. I'm blaming sleep eyes for that mess. Glad you understood what I was trying to say:) lol
My signature perfume is L'eu Dissey by Issey Miyake. I hardly ever see it mentioned in any reviews, however I always get complements when wearing it and no one knows about it
The Inito Musk therapy to me smell similar to the Kilian Agel's share🤷♀️. I love Xerjoff Erba Pura, Lanvin Rumeur, Givenchy L'Interdit, Dolce & Gabbana L'Imperatrice, Lancôme Tresor La Nuit , Giorgio Armani Si, YSL Black Opium Extreme, BDK Gris Charnel, Gritti Duchessa, Nishane Nefs , HFC Wrap Me in Dreams, Kenzo Flower L'Elixir .
You're amazing Marlena ❤ love your videos! I'm a Gucci bloom girl and anything juicy couture for every days. I'm excited to smell these as I'm a perfume lover ❤
Thank you, a well made video. The parfumes are like people - no way to fit to everyone, no way to be liked from everyone. For example I just don't like Rouge 540. Yes, I use it becouse I have it but ....no It's just for different type of women/ people. - too sweet, too havy , too southern ....not my taste . From Kurkdjian the ones I like are A la Rose or Dior's L'or ...but just kind of like them 🤷🏻♀️
Honestly my absolute favorite scent so far is the Lab on Fire "and the world is yours" and I'm trying to find some similar fragrance since it's so hard to find now!!!
I'm a major perfume head myself, but not on this level. I keep it a little more mainstream just because of accessibiity for me. BUT would love to try some of these . Where can I sample some of these?
Try Scent Split! They don't have all of the scents Marlena mentioned, but they do have many of them in varying decant sizes. I am going to order 2 or 3 myself
Loving the fragrance content. I really enjoy niche perfumes. Hmmm top 10 is hard. Lets see In no particular order. PDM Delina orginal and exclusif, have all 3 but these are masterpieces. Mizensir Musc Eternal Amouage Lilac Love Initio Atomic Rose Ex Nihilo Fleur Narcotique Thameen Peregrina Lancome Oud Bouquet Chloe orginal Roja Elixir Pour Femme Essence Aerin Rose de Grasse So many newer ones im absolutely loving but pretty certain i would be sad if these were no longer in my collection and what i wear most. ❤❤
I have over 300 perfumes too and I have been watching you since 2008. I started watching you in Uzbekistan. Then I moved to the US 9 years ago and am still here. I got so excited when I saw “I have over 300 perfumes”, you have no idea. 😁 Loads of love! ❤
I love learning about new fragrances! Thank you. I pulled out my MUG single eyeshadows today to do a look. Some of them are years old and still in perfect condition. They are still amazing!
So the longevity is always up for debate, but if you store them in a cool dry place, they should last for many years (I have some that are 7-8 years old and still smell good). The only thing that changes as it gets older is the top notes fade, so it'll smell a bit deeper and more spicy in time because the citruses and fresh notes fade faster. But even then they still last for few years exactly the same
I know this question was directed at Marlena but I thought so could provide some insight. My mom is a huge perfume fanatic and collector and she has some that are 80+ years old that are still good. They really shouldn't go bad, especially if they are good quality. Keep your bottles away from sunlight and temperature extremes to increase their longevity. Hope that provides some insight.
I'm going to be in trouble with lipstick purchases after this video! 😂 Thank you Em for such a thorough video on blushes and lippies! By the way, I just bought those color mums for the lady I'm a companion for and they are beautiful! That and a small pumpkin. She's tickled that her porch is decorated!
Got the OG to me it’s a sparkling beautiful masterpiece. The exclusif on me is too powdery and did not work for me for some reason reminds me of baby powder 😬
Not sure if Libre intense is anything at all like regular Libre? (hopefully not!) ... but I absolutely cannot stand Libre in any form🤮. Everybody and their brother mentions Libre in their "top faves" and I honestly just do NOT see it, as I cannot even tolerate it🤢. The majority of the fragrances mentioned here are fairly well known and have been talked about quite a bit by many .. especially Delina. I'm so tired of Delina though, don't even really like it. In fact, I have a bottle here for sale if anyone wants it lol! I still do enjoy beautiful Chanel Coco Noir in the right moment .. and yes, it's definitely a true classic. Better than the old standard Coco Mademoiselle. And something that will ALWAYS be on my list is musc noir rose (and even pure musc) by Narcisco Rodriguez ... or almost anything done by Narcisco Rodriguez. He just does musc SO beautifully. One of my staples for fall/winter is Replica Jazz Club. So warm, spicy, cozy, inviting .. smells like the epitome of fall. Grand Soir is even much better .. but also a bit more expensive. BDK Gris Charnel is another staple for fall/winter. I have 100+ others sitting here that I also love .. it's hard to pick a "top 10" though! Oh and besides Angelique Noir from Guerlain, I also love "Mon Guerlain," just another true classic.
We have a lot of the same scents we love. Rouge Smoking I love, but I do wish it lasted as it fades pretty fast. It reminds me of root beer. I also love Musk Therapy. I will have to try out some if the others I haven’t smelled. If you could include sillage & projection in future videos that would be great! Love your makeup look with the army green.
I'm absolutely loving your content ❤ I appreciate the way you teach us all about makeup and in such a nice and easy way to understand you. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us
My husband wore Clive Christian blonde amber on our trip to New Orleans because he forgot his scents, really liked it on him. I took that back right away! I brought 10 other frags, so I was good for the 4 days, 😆
It’s SO pricey. I went months trying not to buy it because I was like “no way am in spending that on a perfume!!” Then I kept thinking about it for months and finally caved 🥴🥴🥴 it’s my favorite though but I wear that only on super special occasions 😂

The friendly pest returns. I’m showing my age 😅 Many years ago I used a perfume called Royal Secret by Germaine Montiel. It was reinvented by another company but lost its scent. Here’s the notes. Hoping you know something similar ? Composition: So what does it smell like? The original version is a sweet and spicy oriental fragrance for women. It starts with a fresh citrusy top, followed by an exotic floral heart, resting on a sweet, powdery amber base. A classic modern blend, regal, exotic, floral, spicy, citrus. Top notes: African orange, lavender, spicy note, peach, verbena, galbanum, bergamot and lemon Middle note: rosewood, carnation, cinnamon, ylang ylang, ginger, African orange blossom, violet, jasmine, lily-of-the-valley, Bulgarian rose and geranium Base notes: incense, benzoin, civet, patchouli, sandalwood, myrrh, musk, patchouli, vanilla, amber and vetiver

Oh this was so fun. Your fragrance videos are some of my favorites.
Thank you for keeping us company !
I love Chloè perfume. It’s so fresh and classic.
SO good!!
I love how you review perfumes. A lot of folk do too much comparisons and faffing about . You stick to the perfume itself. I have never heard of a lot of them but the way you review makes me curious and know what I may or may not like. This is how to do perfume review ❤❤❤
Thank you so much! I appreciate this 🥰♥️
Wow... you really know how to describe perfumes Marlena. I am gonna have to try them all
She is so captivating, I would watch (listen) to her describing her sock drawer. She is so BEAUTIFUL
MARLENAAAA WE NEEED TO KNOW WHATS ON UR EYES PLZZZZ😢
WHAT EYESHADOW U WEARING IM IN LOVE🎉
U LOOK SO BEAUTIFUL
❤❤❤❤I’m saving alllll those perfumes to get
Her eyeshadow is listed in one of her replies, pretty far back.
It’s Coloured Raine Safari Raine palette 😍
@@MarlenaStell thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️ been watching you for over 13 years just wanted to say grateful for everything you do for us ❤️
Dear Marlena, you videos are, as always, very informative and modern ❤
excellent choice some I have never heard of but excited to try!!!
Wow, thank you! First time here. Here to stay! Great video & selection. Have you tried the Celine line? Would love to Hera what you have to say?!? Thank you
Thanks Marlena! This came at the perfect time. I was thinking of buying ysl libre but i will definitely get the intense version
The intense version is SOOOO good! It's my favorite :)
@@MarlenaStellMine too! And I receive so many compliments ❤
My favorite too! 💕✨💕
This is the video I was looking for
I’d love to see you do a review on Dossier Perfumes: I bought three from Dossier recently; They are Fruity Orange (Inspired by Clinique Happy), Aquatic Vanilla (Inspired by Juliette has a Gun’s Vanilla Vibes) and Spicy Orchid (Inspired by Tom Ford’s Black Orchid). I don’t own a lot of expensive perfumes but one of my favorites is Marc Jacobs Daisy.
I love Dossier! My fave is the Jo Malone wood sage dupe
Heyy I love you ❤️ can you please do a video about Arabic perfumes 😊
Which brands do you recommend trying? I really want to explore some!
I can definitely do a designer version! ❤ There’s some great ones at Ulta too 😍
@@MarlenaStell , ty! And I apologize for all the typos. What the heck?? Yikes. I'm blaming sleep eyes for that mess. Glad you understood what I was trying to say:) lol
I love Guerlain! I have a few of their perfumes. Always smell so wonderful
The eyeshadow combination today is beautiful.
My signature perfume is L'eu Dissey by Issey Miyake. I hardly ever see it mentioned in any reviews, however I always get complements when wearing it and no one knows about it
The Inito Musk therapy to me smell similar to the Kilian Agel's share🤷♀️.
I love Xerjoff Erba Pura,
Lanvin Rumeur,
Givenchy L'Interdit,
Dolce & Gabbana L'Imperatrice,
Lancôme Tresor La Nuit ,
Giorgio Armani Si,
YSL Black Opium Extreme,
BDK Gris Charnel,
Gritti Duchessa,
Nishane Nefs ,
HFC Wrap Me in Dreams,
Kenzo Flower L'Elixir .
I want to gift my wife a best one perfume. Can you recommend the best option from brands like Chanel, Armani, YSL, Prada, and Dior?
You're amazing Marlena ❤ love your videos! I'm a Gucci bloom girl and anything juicy couture for every days. I'm excited to smell these as I'm a perfume lover ❤
Thank you, a well made video. The parfumes are like people - no way to fit to everyone, no way to be liked from everyone. For example I just don't like Rouge 540. Yes, I use it becouse I have it but ....no It's just for different type of women/ people. - too sweet, too havy , too southern ....not my taste . From Kurkdjian the ones I like are A la Rose or Dior's L'or ...but just kind of like them 🤷🏻♀️
After I saw your review, I ordered a sample of BDK’s Rouge Smoking; However, it smells like Dr. Pepper to me! Not buying it!
off topic but your eye makeup is so captivating ive been staring at it this entire video!!!!
Honestly my absolute favorite scent so far is the Lab on Fire "and the world is yours" and I'm trying to find some similar fragrance since it's so hard to find now!!!
I LOVE PERFUME!!❤
Me too! 😍
I just want this vanilla craze to be over. HATES IT!!! I liked it for candles when I was a child but as an adult, I just can’t stand it.
I'm a major perfume head myself, but not on this level. I keep it a little more mainstream just because of accessibiity for me. BUT would love to try some of these . Where can I sample some of these?
I would love to know as well 💗
Try Scent Split! They don't have all of the scents Marlena mentioned, but they do have many of them in varying decant sizes. I am going to order 2 or 3 myself
@@gailjacobson7088 I’ve ordered from scentbird before but I’d prefer to sample these in person if possible
Also Scent Decant.
Love your perfume videos!!! Well, all your videos but seriously Girl, this rocked.
Libre Intense is amazing BUT on me it does not last more than 1.5 hours tops 😢 any tips on how to make it last longer????
Loving the fragrance content. I really enjoy niche perfumes. Hmmm top 10 is hard. Lets see
In no particular order.
PDM Delina orginal and exclusif, have all 3 but these are masterpieces.
Mizensir Musc Eternal
Amouage Lilac Love
Initio Atomic Rose
Ex Nihilo Fleur Narcotique
Thameen Peregrina
Lancome Oud Bouquet
Chloe orginal
Roja Elixir Pour Femme Essence
Aerin Rose de Grasse
So many newer ones im absolutely loving but pretty certain i would be sad if these were no longer in my collection and what i wear most. ❤❤
Ooh those are great selections!!! 😍😍😍😍 Atomic Rose is like the grown up sister to Delina. So gorgeous
Love to listen to you talk about fragrances, Marlena! I’ll have to check some of these out.
Girl where are the links!!!!!! Missed opportunity. I need the help. You mine as well get paid.
I want to smell all of these!
Would love perfume reviews from you. You explain things so well ❤❤❤
Have you ever tried Black Opium by YSL? It is my favorite perfume. Every time I wear it people compliment it.
Yes that one is good too!
I have been waiting for a perfume update! Thank you!
I have over 300 perfumes too and I have been watching you since 2008. I started watching you in Uzbekistan. Then I moved to the US 9 years ago and am still here. I got so excited when I saw “I have over 300 perfumes”, you have no idea. 😁 Loads of love! ❤
My daughter was one when I discovered you. Now she's 16! 🙈
I love learning about new fragrances! Thank you. I pulled out my MUG single eyeshadows today to do a look. Some of them are years old and still in perfect condition. They are still amazing!
Sure, sherry coke is an incredible good taste 😅😅😅 these Americans 😢
Libre intense is my next purchase, excited to see it here! Haven't tried it yet but i keep seeing it and am so excited!!
Is this an old video ! I can tell she looks snd sounds way younger here very different from latest videos !
Question Marlena, how long does a bottle stay good and can you tell when it’s old?
Good info to know!!
@@MarlenaStell ok that’s great to know thank you. I had no ideal they even could go bad until someone here on YT said something about it.
@@yourfuturewaifu9061 awesome thanks I always do keep them cool and dry
same, i usually dislike a cherry note but rouge smoking is still one of my fav perfumes ever
Ummmmm this video was about perfumes.
What a nice coincidence I finally just purchased Delina since there is a sale on it 🎉 I ran to get it because I can’t live off decants forever lol 😂
Which one did you get? The exclusif or original? They’re all so good 🥰
Got the OG to me it’s a sparkling beautiful masterpiece. The exclusif on me is too powdery and did not work for me for some reason reminds me of baby powder 😬
@@BeckaBella1 yes it’s much more powdery! The original is amazing 😍
Where is the sale?
We have a lot of the same scents we love. Rouge Smoking I love, but I do wish it lasted as it fades pretty fast. It reminds me of root beer. I also love Musk Therapy. I will have to try out some if the others I haven’t smelled. If you could include sillage & projection in future videos that would be great! Love your makeup look with the army green.
Great input! I can add longevity and sillage too ♥️
I ❤ Delina! I get compliments all the time when I wear it 😃 you have to go to Dallas and go to The Scent Room! You will be in heaven
I love thé scent room!! I’ll drive 3 hours just to go there. It’s my favorite store 😍
I'm absolutely loving your content ❤ I appreciate the way you teach us all about makeup and in such a nice and easy way to understand you. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us
What eyeshadow are you wearing?! Looks beautiful!!
Her eyeshadow pallet is listed in one of her replies above...a good bit back.
So I want to go to Sax now! Who is with me? Thank you Beautiful!!!
I’ll go get my keys!! 🚗🚗🚗🚗
I can’t help but stare at your eyeshadow!
It was only a 2ml sample...I might get him a full bottle for our next anniversary, then I'll poach it, 😅
@@morganlefay2599good girl!
@@morganlefay2599poach it girl …. Poach it…. 😂

Love rouge smoking!in my top ten for life.blonde amber also to me was worth the coin.❤😊
Blonde Amber is the most exquisite perfume I’ve ever smelled! It’s only one that actually stopped me in my tracks but it’s so dang expensive 🥴😫 It’s a masterpiece though
Blonde amber is my absolute favorite
Oh these all sound so delicious and decadent!
I am a vanilla girl and like a bit of chocolate or cookie scents .
Do you have a list of these ?
Have you tried Indult Tihota? It’s by MFK and a great bakery vanilla that’s super sophisticated. Also maison Tahiti cacao2 is so good
@@MarlenaStell
Oh sounds so much like what I would like. And I just had vanilla cake 🍰 with buttercream frosting.
Must be a sign 🤣

Thank you again.
I found a place I could buy sample sizes so I ordered one of each you suggested. They are a bit privy but If I like them I’ll splurge. Just had a Birthday and decided it’s time I do something nice for me 💜
@@MarlenaStell
I finally got the sample of both perfumes you suggested.
I keep trying them on different wrists and Like them both.
I really was looking for a chocolate vanilla combination sent. I really love chocolate sent in that I would like the Mason Cacao 2 better but I think I’m liking the Indult tihota by MFK
Which do you prefer ?
@@MarlenaStell
I’m looking to see if they have a body lotion and body wash to go with the spray so that I have the same scent and not mixing it with anything else but I can’t seem to find them all
Which fragrances do you like on a man ?
I don’t find that Chanel fragrances smell soapy. I LOVE the smell of soap (Acca kappa white moss is my favorite soap FYI) but I think Chanel fragrances just smell elderly and like chemicals.
I absolutely loved this video!😊❤
Marlena, I’ve followed you since the beginning. Love all your videos but your fragrance vids are my favorites! Love a fragrance Friday, please keep them up! ❤
I've been following you since the beginning. I'm appalled by your advocacy for Hamas. How anyone could be okay with killing children, teenagers, young adults and the elderly is beyond me. Before you “like” statuses, do your research.
Man, wish I could afford perfume again. My favorite areNina Ricci L’air du Temp, Chanel Mademoiselle, and Bvlgari Omni . For fresh scent Elizabeth Arden Green Tea and Philosophy pure grace.
Ooooo yesss great video idea!
This harmonist fire is for men or women or unisex
I love your perfume videos!
The friendly pest returns.
I’m showing my age 😅
Many years ago I used a perfume called Royal Secret by Germaine Montiel. It was reinvented by another company but lost its scent.
Here’s the notes. Hoping you know something similar ?
Composition:
So what does it smell like? The original version is a sweet and spicy oriental fragrance for women. It starts with a fresh citrusy top, followed by an exotic floral heart, resting on a sweet, powdery amber base. A classic modern blend, regal, exotic, floral, spicy, citrus.
Top notes: African orange, lavender, spicy note, peach, verbena, galbanum, bergamot and lemon
Middle note: rosewood, carnation, cinnamon, ylang ylang, ginger, African orange blossom, violet, jasmine, lily-of-the-valley, Bulgarian rose and geranium
Base notes: incense, benzoin, civet, patchouli, sandalwood, myrrh, musk, patchouli, vanilla, amber and vetiver
