I love the art for Niv Mizzet Reborn. If you look very closely, you can see Nicol Bolas in the background powering himself up, and with Niv bursting out of the ground, you can tell there's about to be a crazy fight!

One of my Vintage Decks is WUBRG. Coalition Victory is the main Wincon and each card actually synergizes quite well. Nearly every card in the deck is WUBRG or Colorless. I use Ramos, Dragon Engine to create a ton of fast mana and can win by turn 1.
In regards to #7, back in the days of Tempest Block I used to have 2-4 Metallic Slivers in my sideboard for the same reason. If someone ran a sliver deck against me I could easily pop the Metallic Slivers in to steal the buffs. I guess you could say it was the cheaper alternative to running a Sliver Queen lol.
One of my decks could do with "Channel the Suns", looks good. :) "It's stompy and unspeakably plain … Channel the Mirrodin Suns, and you'll never be colour screwed again."

I expected Scion of Ur-Dragon to make the list (I know It saw play in a moderately successful Ravnica-Time Spiral Standard deck...I guess it didn't get any points at the top levels), and I thought Child of Alara would make the list too (It's been a board-clearing reanimation target before). I also expected the Slivers to make it higher.
In edh, playing Ramos Dragon Engine with Horde of Notions allows you to get the 2 biggest creatures in your deck on the field very quickly! Love Horde of Notions
I used to run Genju of the Realm. I had a land walk deck with mostly 2 power 2 drops that covered all the basic land types n I had either a creature of the equipment to give nonbasic land walk but the best thing to do was turn their land legendary n then swing for 7 with a Kamigawa legend that had legendary land walk. I paused the vid just as they mentioned Genju n I hope so much that the Spirit is about to be mentioned in combination with this
I don't want to spoil #1, but the card's point total seems wrong. If it does indeed have 7 PT/MC Top 8s, and 10 GP Top 8s, then it should have 24 total points, not 34.
i just don't get why mythic rare isn't rare enough. does anyone have an explanation beyond "capitalism seeks the greatest profit" or is wotc just not being very subtle?
Kenrith has always been cheap. You can get him from collectors boosters and guaranteed for buying any box. (Also in eldraine mythic edition) There hasn't been that much demand for him. Oko was over 50 at one point and henge, embercleave and questing beast have always been more expensive
Does anyone remember sunburst? Made me a casual deck for the kitchen table games I always play with my friends and man. It makes so much fun. I wish sunburst would see a rebirth.

A reason not to use a companion is because it takes a spot in your sideboard. It still has a cost. And it gives information about your deck to your opponent.
the giving information to your opponents point isn't really relevant for the scoring on these lists though because tournaments generally have open deck lists.

I'm kind of just rambling.

People might have complained at first but then the market was flooded and the card only topped out at under $15 unlike Nexus at $45 and needing a playset.

The Genju seems like a decent trade off for giving yourself a good chance of getting a land defeated/zapped/removed. Makes a change for such cards.
Jegantha is the companion to my Golos EDH deck. Imagining using Golos ability multiple times in a turn.

I have top 10s on color pie breaks and color pie bleeds -- that's probably what you're looking for.
