It's the centrifugal clutches on them thangs dawg. Little tiny adjustable weights n springs are what upon acceleration allow the primary clutch to throw out in direction and engage the dry clutch. So to break it down the ones that are jumping off right away but not that hard have heavier weights or weaker springs and the ones that may take a second longer but engage at much higher rpms will hit or bite a lot harder they are running lighter weights or stronger springs comparatively. Very basic and effective and less costly compared to a wet clutch. Yet take a seasoned mini bike shredder to dial in when your factoring in the riders weight and engine performance and tire selection and even the temperature that day. Literally all that and so much more change the way the clutches engage. It's quite amazing when u actually think about how much time and practice one could spend even dialing in a mini bike to be at the top of the totem pole yo. Js
