First, the highest number of stars that Michelin awards a restaurant is three. Second, Golden Steer has never been awarded even one star. Third, Michelin stopped awarding stars to restaurants in Las Vegas five years ago.
I was a chef for over 30 years at fine dining restaurants. Filet mignon and ribeye are considered two of the best cuts but a really good Porterhouse and T-Bone are also fantastic. Also a King cut a prime rib is extremely tender and delicious. Always get your steaks medium rare that is the best temperature, and you should ask for a side of Au Jus which will enhance your steak and make it juicier without changing the taste of it. It's like a beef broth that you put a little on your plate and dip your steak into as you're eating it and it's delicious.. ❤🇺🇸🙏🏻👍🏻
Thanks for watching, we appreciate your detailed insights on steak cuts and cooking tips. It's always great to learn from someone with such expertise and passion for food. We really want to try the Porterhouse next time.

To be fair, a filet mignon is more expensive than a ribeye. Myself, I love a ribeye because of the fat. A ribeye is a fatty cut of steak and the fat is where all the flavor comes from. The filet mignon is 8 oz, which is three time smaller than the ribeye. If the filet mignon was 24 oz, it would have been $210 vs $98 ribeye. The only thing that I see that is out of the ordinary, is a $21 Caesar salad. Y'all had a great time and y'all are good people and that's the best way to live life. Great video y'all. ;)
I think the 21.00 caesar wasn’t overpriced considering it was freshly made table-side and it fed the two of them. That would make the salad 10.50 per person which is fair considering they shared a small bowl of French onion soup that was 12.00.

I have a steakhouse near me in Bartonville Illinois that has a 1 lb. boneless ribeye, with 2 sides, for $27.50. They marinate them in some kind of magic marinade and it is the best steak I have ever had. It was cooked perfect, to medium well, which is how I like it, and it was amazing, so juicy I did not even need steak sauce. All I did was put a little salt on it. With one soda my bill was exactly $30.00, with tax it was about $33.00. The steak was so big I only ate half of it with my baked potato and salad, and I took the rest of it home with me, I put it in a ziplock bag in the fridge, and got a 2nd steak dinner out of it the next day. So I basically got 2 steak dinners for $33.00. And the name of the place is Club Phoenix II. Their specialty is steak, but they also have ribs and other things, and they have a bar too, with slot machines. While I was there I won $25.00, so it almost paid for my steak dinner.
Hopefully you have some more vids of your time here in Vegas. There is definitely a tourist experience to be had, but there are plenty of locals experiences, as well. Vegas can offer more than just the stereotype crazy time. I hope you had a great visit. 👍👍
What a great steakhouse! I love French onion Soup - that one looked amazing! Ribeye is my favourite too Nicola. Glad to see you guys getting around the country. You can go back to Vegas over and over again. So many restaurants and buffets to try. Love watching your videos Nicola and Andrew! Take care.
I am lucky in that I have eaten at the Golden Steer a number of times. It is unique. It has to be as the location isn’t the most convenient. It’s also old-school. Wood panelling that would have been at home in your grandparent’s basement. In 1970. The food is consistently excellent. Most of all, it’s the service. I love seeing the same faces time after time behind the bar or waiting tables. It says a lot about the Golden Steer’s owners, doesn’t it? P.S. When dining at the GS, I am always too full, so I get my dessert to go. About midnight, I am hungry again and the carrot cake is the treat I deserve!
Thanks for sharing! It sounds like you have a special connection with the Golden Steer! The ambiance, food, and service was top-notch. We would love to go back again the the future, we had better start saving!!💰
😋...If you're still in town you might give Lawry's The Prime Rib a try. A couple of fun places you could share with your followers would include "The Heart Attack Grill" or 'The Peppermill".
Hi Nicola and Andrew, seeing your enjoyment here is so nice. A slower paced video but well explained and made my mouth water. This had a classic elegance I really liked. Honestly, I love how you aren't afraid to say what you like and dislike no matter the location or reputation given beforehand. Keep the fun coming, I'll keep watching! 😃
Just came across your channel and really enjoy you two. I'm Canadian and live just above Idaho. I haven't been to this restaurant but it appears similar to most steak houses in North America. I've traveled extensively and grass fed free range North American beef is the best ... especially a 30mm or 1.25" thick cut, porterhouse steak, aged at least 28 days, and cooked to medium rare. You will need to spend your retirement savings but achieving meat nirvana is understandably expensive ... something to remember. I still remember my first ... and I'm 67 ... hahaha.
Thank you so much for your kind words! Welcome to the channel we're glad you enjoy our channel. We have an amazing porterhouse steak video coming soon from NYC! watch this space!
Congratulations on getting a table with no reservations! Oh wow, Andrew, and Nicola you sold me on that French Onions soup! I do love a French Onion soup done right, and that has only happened to us twice! It's not easy finding one that tastes just as good as we had in France. We have enjoyed both rib eye (Bone in) and the Filet Mignon piece too, we love them both and yet I personally lean towards the filet mignon. We never been to this restaurant before either! We too have had Crème brûlée in many places too including France, since then we haven't tried it. Perhaps well try it again at this restaurant too one day! Wow, with no sides and that was your total! Okay, good to know! We will keep this restaurant in mind for future reference! Thank you for making this video, it was well worth to watch! Peace! ☮
Since you are in Vegas you should be trying some of the famous all you can eat buffets. All you can eat seafood including snow crab legs and shrimp and all you can eat prime rib and steaks usually there's at least a hundred things on the buffet. Bellagios is one of the very famous ones but there are many good ones. Don't miss the boat❤
Thank goodness my husband and I found your channel. You both are hilarious, informative and a fun time. We subscribed and look forward to watching more. Cheers
Definitely Ribeye over Filet Mignon EVERY TIME for me (but then I love a fattier cut of meat over a lean one). 😀 Also, if you want some good steak, I always like to go to Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse. There's a bunch of locations all over the US and they're all you can eat! Plus, the Brazilian cheese bread you get as your table bread IS SO AMAZING! Definitely recommend! Pricey, but worth it!
Love your fun videos. I’m a Texan and got hooked seeing your visits to my local spots. Seeing your chemistry on screen makes me happy #Relationship goals Andrew: can I ask where you got your shirt? Love the design.
Did you mention that it was Nicola's birthday?? If so then a very happy birthday to you Nicola. Wow thats some final bill. I've taken 6 people to a local steakhouse in Seattle and paid less.lol... (Well that was back in 1985 lol...) Your channel is pure entertainment and fun. We look forward to all of your videos. I would love to buy you both a drink. Or a coffee. ♥ Rich and Mila in Seattle ♥
Thank you so much for you comment!! it has really made our evening. We definitely want to visit Seattle in the future, hopefully we can make that happen soon.
Aaawww, Happy Birthday!! I was just in Vegas in March. My FAVORITE place is The D, and their steakhouse is AMAZING!! Hope you 2 make it to Pinkbox Donuts downtown Las Vegas!! Bone in Ribeye is my favorite 😊😊😊❤❤.
Great vid guys! As a master butcher for the last 29 years, I’d always recommend the ribeye to a customer that’s looking for flavour & a fillet to someone who doesn’t like to chew their steak! My person favourite is a TBone as you get best of both, sirloin on one side for texture & flavour and fillet on the other for tenderness. And you can scour the bone to finish off! Greetings from Scotland!👍🏴🏴🇺🇸
if you’re still in the states may I suggest Lambert’s “home of the throwed rolls” in Sikeston, Missouri. I think they are still there and it’s worth checking out
When you come to Texas and if you come back to Ft Worth. Del Friscos is hands down the place. You will spend two hundred for two people but it is quite the experence. And I am a steak lover. I like the filet because I don't like carving grissle out of my steak while I eat it. Porterhouse is the way to go. You get a Filet and the NY Strip all in one steak.
Love this video! As you travel to the states, come to NYC and try the steakhouses there (among other cuisines). Peter Luger, Wolfgang’s , Striphouse, Porter House and Cote are good. Also get a real cheesesteak in Philly.
One of the best place you go for food is sweet potatoes kitchen in savanna GA when you talk about great food omg you won’t and I mean you won’t be disappointed there peach glazed bbq chicken and pecan chicken breast is amazing
Thank you so much for the recommendation! We would love to visit Savanna in the future. That Peach glazed BBQ chicken and pecan chicken breast sound like a dream!
We in Tennessee love ya'll. Your my favorite couple on utube. Tennessee would love to have you come back for another visit. I'd love to cook you a real home cooked meal. Keep doing what your doing. Love the videos
The ambience of this steakhouse takes be back to my younger days, The Rat Pack, Joe DiMaggio even Elvis Presley. And the food… I’m full from the rolls, French onion soup ( one of my favorites) and salad, I’ll have a to go box for the steak please 😊 I prefer the rib eye, a steak that has a bone is more flavorful in my opinion. If you are ever in New York Del Frisco’s steak house is the best according to Mike Chen. Check out his video when you get a chance. In Dallas Texas, Knife steak house is said to be phenomenal. Enjoy!!
My town VEGAS! Try the Oyster Bar at the Palace Station... There is another Oyster bar at the new Durango. But the original is the one at The Palace Station and its legendary local place! Need to wait hours on the weekends...
All us kids that were small children in the 70s were taught to cook stuff in the early 80s when we were young teens. Steak was something I was taught. And Im good at it :P
I just moved from Las Vegas to Denver, but as somebody who has dined at Golden Steer a couple of times, you go there for the history but the food has never overwhelmed me. Las Vegas offers much better steak houses for both taste and ambiance but Golden Steer is definitely an experience one should go to if they want to feel old-time Vegas.
I went there once about 8-10 years ago when my cousin got married in Vegas. Super small wedding, pretty much just his family, my famiily, and his wife's immediate family, so maybe like 15-16 of us, tops. I remember the service being way fancier than I was expecting based on how the place looked, lol. I can't remember which one I got, but it was easily the best steak I ever had in my life.
My favorite steak cut is tri-tip and I like it marinated and from a tiny butchery in Medford Minnesota it’s called grandpa’s old home meats even the locally owner timber lodge steakhouse was buying the tri-tips and put it on the menu. It’s so delicious 🤤
Thanks for sharing That tri-tip from grandpa's old home meats sounds like the real deal! We will have to try an visit Minnesota at some point in the future.
You two need to come visit Kentucky! We have several natural wonders including Cumberland Falls - which is one of only 2 places in the world where rainbows occur at night every month. Super beautiful! We also have Mammoth Cave which is the largest cave system in the world and is breathtaking! Sounds kind of scary but it's literally a wonder. I would be ecstatic to host a dinner party for you too and we also have restaurants that are world famous. Many people visit for the Kentucky Derby or for any of the Keeneland race days (so much fun and less formal than the derby). Finally, time is always well spent going to a UK basketball game too, the atmosphere is electric! Come visit, you'll love it and we would love to have you!
while i'm well aware that when couples/other people have vlogs where their content and money made from it depends on reaction from the public, i've watched quite a few of the food videos of this couple and they genuinely seem to enjoy each other. their give and take, true enjoyment of their food, and more, is wonderful. i truly enjoy them. the way they talk to each other seems to show their true enjoyment of each other over a very long period of time, (i seem to remember one of their videos in which mention was made of being married more than 25 yrs?) and i see what seems to be true fruit of a well-rooted relationship. this, in such times as we see all around up nowadays, as well as the food is why i watch. also, i'm from the deep south, and their total amazement at some of our food that (i admit) i've learned to take for granted makes me have a new-found appreciation for some of it. also, some of their questions about the food are, to a born and bred southerner, are rather funny.
Wow! your comment has made our day!!!! Thank you so much for your heartfelt comment! We love sharing our food adventures and are thrilled that you enjoy watching us. (We have been together 25 years and married for 22)
Looking forward to you two taking a trip to Chicago - go in the summer. Recommendations: Mr Beef or Al's for an Italian Beef (dipped), Gibsons for steak, Pequods for pan pizza, Vito and Nicks for tavern style pizza, Au Cheval for an incredible cheeseburger, Wiener Circle or Portillos for a Chicago hot dog and chocolate (cake) shake. If you really want to splurge and have world-class meal - Alinea (3 Michelin stars)
You guys are a blast, and never fail to put a smile on my face. 😊 I'm a ribeye girl, but my husband loves prime rib. After 31 years together, I haven't been able to get him to order a ribeye, but he sure will try to eat my leftovers 😂
The trick is to use the inside top lip of the soup bowl to cut off the cheese from the soup spoon. That is why it is made in a crock. Reference for future places where you order french onion soup. 😊😊
You guys make great content. Since you guys are traveling a lot, how about showing different hotels and comparing them the hotels in the UK and telling us the differences. That would be nice and on top of that, doing your food reviews.
Love y'alls videos. Im in southern Louisiana and there's lots of restaurants that serve great streaks but I can't see me ever paying almost a hundred dollars for a ribeye. Safe travels
I like the filet mignon because it’s a smaller piece of meat and usually my quarter is 5 ounces. I’ll have it maybe once or twice a year because my go to is always fish. The Golden steer has an excellent Caesar salad, and the meatball appetizer and the shrimp.
For a special occasion or if you are a "High Roller" - that was too funny! You two are just a great couple. Is French Onion soup not like that in Europe? You seemed surprised by the croutons and the amount of cheese on it. I am with Nicola - I really like to taste the anchovies in a Caesar salad. Those steaks looked fantastic. Love your videos, always fun to watch!
I love that you're in Vegas! I miss the food so damn much compared to Upstate NY. Enjoy! Hit up Sparrow + Wolf, Craft Kitchen for ube bread pudding and pinkbox Donuts ❤️
Not sure when I'll get to Texas from Georgia, but your entire meal is what I would've ordered given the same options. French onion soup is my "sucker" item because I'll always try it if it's on the menu. Caeser salad? Yup. Steak, Med Rare? Yup. Creme Brulee? I love it so much I learned to make it at home. And don't have 3rd degree burns - yikes!! (But I also don't make caramel because I'm afraid of hot sugar). Excellent choices, and another great reaction. Thank you!
Thank you for your kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed the video and could relate to our meal choices. . The food was delicious and that French Onion soup was a pleasant surprise. Fortunately, the burns did heal eventually😂
You asked for recommendations -not sure if you’re coming to the East Coast but I think it would be fun to watch you go to the largest buffet in America-Shady Maple in Pennsylvania Dutch country-i’m sure there are a lot of things you’ve never seen or heard of before
We are going to the East Coast, but not to Pennsylvania this time. We are planning to visit this buffet, when we do go to Pennsylvania as we have heard so much about it. 😀
I used to order Filet when I was a steak noob too. Now it's nothing but Ribeye. Nicola knows what's up. If you're in Dallas, San Antonio or Austin and are looking for an experience similar to the Golden Steer, then I suggest Bob's Steak and Chop House.
Andrew & Nicola, Since you left Texas when y'all come back try. Salt Lick- BBQ Salt Grass - Steak House, small chain restaurant. Well a lot more than I remember now. How about (Bubba's 33) always wanted to go, but work. Pizza burgers, hotdogs & wings.
Career chef here. When it comes to steak Ribeye is supreme, followed by T-Bone/Porterhouse. Give the rest of the cow to a soup kitchen. Maybe sneak the brisket out before delivering to soup kitchen.
Thanks for the Information as a professional chef! We have just tried a Porterhouse for the first time at Delmonicos in New York, We would be interested in what you think of the steak? ua-cam.com/video/dPQZvxwTVLI/v-deo.html
French onion soup topped with melted Gruyère has always been one of my favorites. And for what it's worth, your steakhouse video is much better than the Beesleys' video "Brits try a Local TEXAS STEAKHOUSE for the first time!"
You got Joe Dimaggio's table, nicknamed "Joltin' Joe" and "the Yankee Clipper" he was a three-time American League Most Valuable Player Award winner and an All-Star in each of his 13 seasons with the NY Yankees.
How come Brits always say I'm going in. I watch a lot of videos of Brits eating food in the United States and when they're about to eat they always say the same thing I'm going in I'm going in😂😂😂
@@thebritstry Another one is Brits call the ground outside the floor. In the United States we call the inside of a house or building the floor and the outside the ground but the Brits call the inside the floor and the outside the floor. It makes no sense.
I like seeing you both eating at a quality restaurant. There is nothing like a good upscale American steakhouse. I have eaten at hundreds of them across the entire United States. They will not all cost you $250 there are many great places that will cost you less than half of that. Since you're in Vegas you should try out some of the all you can eat buffets where you can eat all the prime rib and steak you want for around $50 a person❤
that looks like amazing ooey gooey french onion soup....I had lentil soup at a local sharwarma place recently on a hot day & ended up feeling cooled & refreshed....that looks like an amazing Caesar Salad....now that's a perfect ribeye....omg I want that filet mignon....I love a Porterhouse steak when I can get it....omg I love creme brulee....y'all need to come to Arizona since y'all are so close....Yuma is in the middle of Las Vegas & San Diego

Thank you so much!
😋...If you're still in town you might give Lawry's The Prime Rib a try. A couple of fun places you could share with your followers would include "The Heart Attack Grill" or 'The Peppermill".
Thanks for the tips! I'll see if I can squeeze in a visit to Lawry's, The Heart Attack Grill, or The Peppermill in the future.
WHAT A LOVELY COUPLE, THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR DINING EXPERIENCE WITH US!!!!☺☺☺☺☺🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for watching! It means a lot to hear your positive feedback. Your support keeps us motivated to keep creating content we love.
@@thebritstry 😊❤️
Great review. I am most envious.
Thank you for your kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed the review. The golden steer definitely was a iconic place to eat
I love you all!! The humorous banter is great!! Keep it up!!
Thank you so much for your kind words! I appreciate your support.
you need to come up to Nebraska for steaks and Iowa for pork chops
Yum! Steak in Nebraska and pork chops in Iowa? We will have to try and plan a trip. Thanks for the suggestion
The filet mignon is the best part of the steak in my mind, the New York strip is 2nd best. I eat them medium rare too. That looks amazing!
Yeah! Andrew will be so happy you agree. Thanks for watching
You both have a new fan. I'm in love with you two. The steak looks great!
Awesome! Thank you!
Peace! ☮
Thank you for watching and sharing your experiences! The French onion soup was delicious! Thanks for watching and your kind words!
Just found your channel and I am loving it! Thank you 👏❤️
Thank you so much for your kind words! It means a lot to hear that you're loving the channel.
Thank you for the recommendation! we'll try find time to try a delicious buffet meal in Vegas.
I love everything about this place. The perfect, classic steakhouse. Joe Dimaggio booth is premium. Ribeye > Filet Mignon.
It was so beautiful inside
Thank goodness my husband and I found your channel. You both are hilarious, informative and a fun time. We subscribed and look forward to watching more. Cheers
Thank you so much for your kind words and for subscribing! We appreciate you taking the time to watch
Definitely Ribeye over Filet Mignon EVERY TIME for me (but then I love a fattier cut of meat over a lean one). 😀
Also, if you want some good steak, I always like to go to Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse. There's a bunch of locations all over the US and they're all you can eat! Plus, the Brazilian cheese bread you get as your table bread IS SO AMAZING! Definitely recommend! Pricey, but worth it!
Thanks for sharing your preference! Ribeye is definitely a flavorful choice. Thanks for the advice, We will have to try Fogo de chao in the future!
Love your fun videos. I’m a Texan and got hooked seeing your visits to my local spots. Seeing your chemistry on screen makes me happy #Relationship goals
Andrew: can I ask where you got your shirt? Love the design.
Thank you so much for your kind words! Your comment has made our day! Ps. the shirt was from Jcrew i think?
Thank you so much for the birthday wishes! The D sounds like a great spot, and Pinkbox Donuts is definitely on our list now for next visit!
I think they are still there and it’s worth checking out
Thanks for the suggestion! Lambert's sounds like a fun place to visit. we will check it out.
Thanks for the recommendation! Del Friscos sounds like a must-visit for steak lovers.
As someone who lives in the ft worth area as well I can tell you he ain't lying! I gotta give bobs steak and chop house a honorable mention!
Your editing is really better. You are so charming, both of you. Congrats.
Thank you so much!!
Love this video! As you travel to the states, come to NYC and try the steakhouses there (among other cuisines). Peter Luger, Wolfgang’s , Striphouse, Porter House and Cote are good. Also get a real cheesesteak in Philly.
Sounds great! We are going to New York very soon.
I used to live in Houston Texas and I have eaten at both restaurants I have talked about and the food is good that it's a memory I hold on to
Thank you for sharing your personal food journey with us!
Thank you!😍
The ambience of this steakhouse takes be back to my younger days, The Rat Pack, Joe DiMaggio even Elvis Presley. And the food… I’m full from the rolls, French onion soup ( one of my favorites) and salad, I’ll have a to go box for the steak please 😊
I prefer the rib eye, a steak that has a bone is more flavorful in my opinion.
If you are ever in New York Del Frisco’s steak house is the best according to Mike Chen. Check out his video when you get a chance.
In Dallas Texas, Knife steak house is said to be phenomenal. Enjoy!!
Thank you for sharing your recommendations! we'll definitely check out Mike Chen's video and keep Knife steak house in mind if I ever visit Dallas.
Also love you 2, im from louisiana and i watch yalls eyes light up on food! Thats why i watch! Our foods ok down here too! Lol
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoy the videos.
My town VEGAS! Try the Oyster Bar at the Palace Station... There is another Oyster bar at the new Durango. But the original is the one at The Palace Station and its legendary local place! Need to wait hours on the weekends...
Thanks for the local tip! we will definitely give those a try next time
All us kids that were small children in the 70s were taught to cook stuff in the early 80s when we were young teens. Steak was something I was taught. And Im good at it :P
That's so cool! Keep grilling those steaks like a pro!
Love watching your videos come to Minnesota late August for Minnesota State Fair trust me.
Sounds like a great idea! Thanks for the recommendation about the State Fair. we will try and figure out a trip
You two are a joy to watch.
Thank you so much! your comment means a lot..
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! The golden steer definitely wins on the nostalgia effect. Thanks for taking the time to watch!
I'm going to the Golden Steer a few days after Christmas.. I made reservations 7 months ago.. The day after I saw your video...
Wow, that's amazing! The Golden Steer is such a classic choice. I hope you have an incredible dining experience there! Let us know what you think?
@@thebritstry Will do!
@@thebritstry I'm currently in a food coma... it was OUTSTANDING!
The best duo in food reviews. Love it
Wow, thanks so much! Thanks for watching
We will definitely try to visit Kentucky soon. thanks for the suggestion
while i'm well aware that when couples/other people have vlogs where their content and money made from it depends on reaction from the public, i've watched quite a few of the food videos of this couple and they genuinely seem to enjoy each other. their give and take, true enjoyment of their food, and more, is wonderful. i truly enjoy them. the way they talk to each other seems to show their true enjoyment of each other over a very long period of time, (i seem to remember one of their videos in which mention was made of being married more than 25 yrs?) and i see what seems to be true fruit of a well-rooted relationship. this, in such times as we see all around up nowadays, as well as the food is why i watch. also, i'm from the deep south, and their total amazement at some of our food that (i admit) i've learned to take for granted makes me have a new-found appreciation for some of it. also, some of their questions about the food are, to a born and bred southerner, are rather funny.
Wow! your comment has made our day!!!!
Wow! Thanks for the recommendations! Watch the space😉😉
Since you enjoyed this steakhouse so much, you would LOVE The Granary in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Canada
Wow! Now that sounds like a great reason for a vacation!! we will definitely check it out and try and figure a way to visit in the future.
A Porterhouse steak. T Bone with a filet on one side and a New York on the other.
Thanks for the advice! we would love to try the Porter house next time
You guys are a blast, and never fail to put a smile on my face. 😊
I'm a ribeye girl, but my husband loves prime rib. After 31 years together, I haven't been able to get him to order a ribeye, but he sure will try to eat my leftovers 😂
Your support means the world to us! We're glad we can make you smile. Andrew is like a mobile hoover when there is food leftover😂
The trick is to use the inside top lip of the soup bowl to cut off the cheese from the soup spoon. That is why it is made in a crock. Reference for future places where you order french onion soup. 😊😊
Great tip! We didn’t know that! Thank you
Anchovies were only used to replace Woostershire sauce. when they were out!
That's an interesting food fact! Thanks for sharing and watching
@@thebritstry you bet! Thanks for the video!
You guys make great content. Since you guys are traveling a lot, how about showing different hotels and comparing them the hotels in the UK and telling us the differences. That would be nice and on top of that, doing your food reviews.
Thanks for the suggestion this is a great idea. We did film a little bit of a hotel review in one of videos that is coming up. 😀
@@thebritstry You’re very welcome and I will be looking forward to your upcoming video.
Saltgrass steak house is a must try in Texas for an amazing steak diner experience.
Thanks for the recommendation! next time we will definitely give Saltgrass a try.
Come to Georgia! We have fantastic steak and barbecue in Georgia as well!!
Love y'alls videos. Im in southern Louisiana and there's lots of restaurants that serve great streaks but I can't see me ever paying almost a hundred dollars for a ribeye. Safe travels
Thanks for sharing! we would love to head back to Louisiana in the future, where would you recommend we visit in southern Louisiana?
I like the filet mignon because it’s a smaller piece of meat and usually my quarter is 5 ounces. I’ll have it maybe once or twice a year because my go to is always fish. The Golden steer has an excellent Caesar salad, and the meatball appetizer and the shrimp.
The Caesar salad was amazing, in fact all of the food we had was amazing!
Your support means the world to us! It's comments like yours that motivate us to keep creating fun content. Thank you for watching!
Yes, this place is definitely worth it. Better than most of the restaurants on the strip or Downtown.
It was really delicious! definitely worth the short trip off the strip. Thanks for watching.
I love that you're in Vegas! I miss the food so damn much compared to Upstate NY. Enjoy! Hit up Sparrow + Wolf, Craft Kitchen for ube bread pudding and pinkbox Donuts ❤️
Thanks for the recommendations, we'll definitely check them out next time! Thanks for watching,
Not sure when I'll get to Texas from Georgia, but your entire meal is what I would've ordered given the same options.
We have added this to our list, for when we go back to Texas. 😀
If you're in Austin, Texas you need to try the tacos at Vera Cruz All Natural. You'll also enjoy Franklins BBQ.
We managed to get to Franklins, we have a video of us trying Franklins!
Andrew & Nicola, Since you left Texas when y'all come back try. Salt Lick- BBQ
Salt Grass - Steak House, small chain restaurant. Well a lot more than I remember now. How about (Bubba's 33) always wanted to go, but work. Pizza burgers, hotdogs & wings.
We have added them to our list. Thank you!
Thank you for the recommendations!
That French onion soup was spectacular! Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed the steakhouse video.
I live here in Vegas. I haven't tried the Golden Steer yet! I want to. I have friends and co-workers that love it. I only eat Filet Mignon !
You should! It's pricey but a great experience
All I can say is nom nom! Ya'll had three of my favs. French onion soup, ribeye, and crème brûlée. 🤤
Thank you for enjoying the video and sharing your favorite dishes with us! It was delicious.
In Nebraska, prime rib at Misty’s is worth the travel. (Runza if you have time while there.)
Thanks for the advice! we will have to plan to visit Nebraska in the future
You got Joe Dimaggio's table, nicknamed "Joltin' Joe" and "the Yankee Clipper" he was a three-time American League Most Valuable Player Award winner and an All-Star in each of his 13 seasons with the NY Yankees.
Yes, we were incredibly lucky! He was a true legend according to what we have heard,
Absolutely absolutely!
Thanks for watching!
How come Brits always say I'm going in. I watch a lot of videos of Brits eating food in the United States and when they're about to eat they always say the same thing I'm going in I'm going in😂😂😂
Lol! never thought about it before, but you are so right.😂😂
@@thebritstry Another one is Brits call the ground outside the floor. In the United States we call the inside of a house or building the floor and the outside the ground but the Brits call the inside the floor and the outside the floor. It makes no sense.
The potatoe patch in Houston Texas has some awesome steaks there or go to a steak and ale restaurant in texas
Ha, I took my prom date there in 1990. Had scallops for the first time there. They were gooooood.
That's awesome! It sounds like that restaurant holds some great memories for you. Scallops are definitely a classic choice for a special occasion!
Welcome to Vegas, my friends. I recommend POP’S on Decatur.
We appreciate the suggestion, we'll definitely check out POP'S on Decatur next time!
If you're still in Vegas, you might check out the neon museum and Kaiseki Yuzu (the best meal we've ever had).
Your suggestions are gold! I appreciate the insider tips next time we will have to experience the neon museum and Kaiseki Yuzu restaurant.
You should go down to San Antonio in TX!!! The food is outrageous & it’s a gorgeous city. At least it used to be. 🤷🏻♀️🤠❤❤❤
Thanks for sharing! it is definitely on our list of places to visit.
It's always great to explore different dining experiences, thanks for the suggestion!
You guys are going to have to try a Brazilian steakhouse...you get to try all their delicious meats at once...it's a fantastic experience
