My Top 5 Games of 2015

- It's the end of the year, so that means it's time to list my top games of 2015. It's been a great year for gaming and I played a ton of new releases so it was a tough choice. In addition to my top 5, there are also a few honorable mentions.

'Ori & The Blind Forest' just got announced for the Switch(September)! Really looking forward to finally playing it.

I couldn't handle 30 games in one year, but I can handle 5 whilst having a kinda busy real life schedule.
I personally don't have a top 5, but I have enjoyed playing Super Mario Maker and Super Smash Bros. Wii U. Splatoon would have been up there, but I don't have the game (even though so many people really like it and is so popular).

Cannot be Tamed Thanks. :) Hmm. I've heard many positive things about the two, especially Splatoon.
Nice contemporary top 5 - mine have to include a lot of retro from, captain America and the avengers (Genesis), wolf amongst us (ps4), thunder force IV (Genesis), Star Wars battlefront (for co op with my daughter although it's all good) and the best Shining Force Rise of the Dark Dragon (GBA). Sadly I don't get as time as I would like to play games but still collect many titles. I will check that Ori game you played - looks charming.

I'm looking for something along the lines of diablo an elder scrolls, but not ESO already have it. Any recommendation would be appreciated.

Must admit I've not played any of those so far, but then I'm often a bit behind on the latest games (currently playing Dragons Age Inquisition) with around 50 games on the back burner I've bought and still not played yet, on PS2, PS4, Xbox 360, wii and Sega Mega Drive consoles....
+keith last I've got quite the backlog myself.
+Cannot be Tamed it's often the way, particularly when you can pick up many of the last generations games at such cheap prices at the moment - it's rather a bargain hunters dream!
I love Ori! I'd love to see a let's play of the sequel, when it comes out. A pammy lp ofc

I really enjoyed Tales from the Borderland's soundtrack. Each chapter opening with a different modern song was very cool. And the first episode has the best opening of a game ever (Busy Earnin' by Justice).
+Ronald DeRosa The bits set to music in each chapter were my favourite parts! I particularly liked the one for chapter 2.
I like your list. It appears we have some similar tastes. I was curious about Ori and the blind forest, but not really sure. I'll definitely check it out at some point now. I recently picked up Tales From The Borderlands and it seems like I'm going to really enjoy it. I also got Wolfenstein The New Order, but want to finish some other stuff before I get into it. I'm glad you liked the expansion for it. It gives me confidence that New Order will be a good time. Anyway, nice list. I'm pretty sure I would enjoy every game you picked out. I hope Until Dawn comes to PC so I can play it some day.
+Galactic Zombie The New Order is great, I'd say it's a bit better than the expansion. It would have been one of my top games in 2014, but I didn't play it until 2015.
I haven't paid much attention to modern games and wasn't aware of Tales From the Borderlands. Looks interesting. I'm going to have to try it. I'm really looking forward to Rise of the Tomb Raider coming to PS4. I really liked the reboot.

What was the breakdown of systems in your top 5, or 10? I remember you played Witcher 3 on console, what about the others?
+Dahakha TheInsane Tales from the Borderlands, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Ori, Wolfenstein, Witcher 3 were all played on XBox One (though only RotTR is exclusive, for now). Until Dawn was played on PS4 (and is exclusive), and Pillars and Stasis are on PC.
+Cannot be Tamed Ahh I see, yeah I think that might be a reason you got through so many games, I find it easier to power through console games on a comfy seat rather than a desk chair/mouse/keyboard setup. Now I just need a console...and a TV...and a couch...sigh

Great list. As much as you loved Tomb Raider, I thought it would be your number one! Old Blood was excellent!
+Lifespiller79 Old Blood was a lot of fun. The New Order would have been on my best of 2014 list, but I didn't play it until this year. I loved them both though.
I have the first Tomb Raider(2013) but haven't played it, Think I would now. Ori I began, I think Like an hour and a half in it but haven´t touched it since then, but it really looks good no doubt. I would buy Pillars...
But from that year I really love The Witcher 3: Really love the writing, the dialogues, the combat. It is really humongous but still I think is incredibly enjoyable. Anyway all the games from the list seem great!
I need to play Tales from Borderlands. The pub sensed I never played it and sent me a copy. Great video btw

That is also a solid list. I'm still trying to find TMNT4. I had Tomb Raider Anniversary for the PS2 as my #1 for last year.
+Cannot be Tamed Snatcher blew me away back in the day. It was my favorite game for my Sega CD. The story and voice acting were really amazing for the time.
Excellent list - I would've included 2 of them in my own list (Until Dawn and The Witcher 3). Have you gotten the chance to play through Hearts of Stone yet? I swear it has one of the best video game villains in recent memory.
+VBC Trinity Yeah, I finished it not too long ago. I liked the story a lot, though I kinda wish they had put it in a more contained area, I kept getting distracted by open world nonsense.
Nice, I've read that Blood and Wine takes place in an entirely new area - so we can get distracted by all of the new nonsense haha

Good top 5! What do you think of oldies like Deus Ex, No One Lives Forever 1 + 2, and Bloodlines? If you haven't played those, i strongly recommend them.
