Bought one last week love it
What pellets they like ?
@@leegraham5911jsb tend to be good in bsa barrels . my r10 is good with jsb,s. Bsa barrels are not pellet fussy . I have used H,N pellets and had good results. Rws pellets also group nice as well.
Cant decide between this or the Kral Puncher Maxi for my first PCP. What do you think?
I have one of the old pcp scorpion with the safty under the bolt action it 10 yesrs old. And ran 8 thousand pellets up it. And no problems at all love it never part from it. And now i have a kral np02 250 shot count and it pretty good for 300 big ones....
@@Jimmycricket- hi both mate just as good as each other.
Good review guys👍 I had the brand new BSA CLX R12 Bolt action for two weeks I found the bolt action was really awful to use and not good for me so I traded it in for the Air Arms ultimate sporter carbine laminate 177 absolutely fanatic gun. will you be reviewing the FX Panthera
just purchased the gun-loving it.
Hell of a twang when firing or is that more on camera microphone? Lovely banter and review as per normal gentleman. Thank you
Hope it’s not as bad as the R12 I have just had a refund on . I’m now the proud owner of an Air Arms S510 ultimate sporter R. What a gun.
Tooting your trumpet, mate?
Nice review as always. Of course if you zero where you're aiming for a ten shot group you'll destroy your aiming mark for accuracy of showing the smallest group size and also I'd have thought it wise for each of you to shoot a group on your reviews incase one is having an off day as we all do.
I really like the look of this model and am seriously considering purchasing one. I will obviously need some scope mounts, I have a few sets of standard 9-11mm, but in the video you said it had a standard BSA 13mm dovetail rail. However the specs on BSA's website says the Scorpion has a 10.8mm dovetail rail. Can you please confirm which size it is please?
A very good rifle and now most of the parts are made in the uk
Its one I'd seriously give consideration to if I decided to take up hunting again .. a perfect tool for the job , just a wipe over if you drop it in a cow pat ... sorted ...
To add to senior's remarks, a free-floating barrel gives the same Harmonic resonance for every shot, barrel bands or resting the barrel can change the harmonic tuning and replicating the resonance shot for shot would be difficult and would change the mean point of impact.
Lovely rifle though.
Any ideas on price guys ?
About £490 (:
What’s the price of one of these
I’d like to see the top manufacturers make a sub £500 gun what’s as accurate as the scorpion
Save your money folks get a nice hw 100
Save your money? You just recommended a gun that is double the price of this one 🤦
@@lordpendleton1998I think he meant save up more money and get a HW100,, which still isn't very helpful because this rifle is made for folk who don't have the luxury of spending so much, I'm moving to a full power PCP rifle from first springers and then an Artemis pp750 and this thing looks great for my needs
I think your right, you wouldn't be long before you out grown it and wish you'd waited to get a wh100
Had two HW100s and both had issues.@@SedEdwards
