Winx club was actually on in America in 2004! It was on Fox 5 on starurday mornings which back then they called that time period "4kidz". It was out with TMNT, Sonic X, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh, etc. Many classic shows! Then Winx moved from that to cartoon network, then nickelodeon, then it was off tv & us united state fans had too Google new seasons, then it ended on Netflix.
@@KielyNewsome lol I know right 🤣 4kids had it very well Balanced! They had their Boy based shows & then they had their Girl girl shows! They even added Anime series like "toyko Mew Mew Power" & "Do-ri-mi" (I think I spelled that wrong 😅). Ohh it was TIME to be alive 😍 Us 90's kids had the BEST TV shows!
@@soflirty84 yes I know that as well. My black ass still calls her Layla 😅 I don't give a damn! I hated that she changed her name cause it was giving very much "ohh she black and her name isn't "black enough". So let's change her name to a "-isha" name." 😑 That thought that shit was slick! But then again as I have gotten older...I never met a black women with the name Layla before in my life 🤣. Almost every black women i have met had a "-isha" in her name! 😅😅😅
Aisha (eye-ee-sha) has water powers so that’s probably what the tear shapes are for. Some of their names have something to do with their powers though like Musa and Music is the most obvious one.
I went and bought the purple "Stormy" highlighter today because of your video and it is stunning!! Love your videos btw I look forward to them every week!
I ordered the palette today I love the colors and the cute packaging !! I thought it was adorable ! Never watched the show I will catch up on UA-cam like you said! Too cute!!
Okay I’m ready because this show is everything. The later seasons started catering to even younger crowd when nick took them over. Like for babies 😭 we never got the ending we deserved.
Omggg this collection is definitely not for me but seeing you love Winx as much as I did growing up makes me so happy. I hope the show brings you as much joy as it did to me. Enchantix was my favorite era and forever will be. I'm glad you liked this collection!
I related to this so much lmao. I’ve been hearing about winx a lot last couple of years & fell in love with their style / outfits! I was surprised I never saw winx growing up because I loved watching totally spies, powerpuff girls & sailor moon. Then I realized it’s because I’m old 😂 by 2004 I was in 8th grade so I wasn’t watching cartoons as much anymore. I need to go watch it too. I can’t wait for my collection to come in thank you for reviewing it 💖
Omg I have never watched Winx Club, but this collection is so cute! I love the glosses and I honestly want to pick up the glitterally obsessed (I love using it on my cheeks as a fun and funky highlighter). The pallet is also really beautiful! I haven’t been super interested in any releases lately, but I kind of want to order some of this. 👀 💖
Really loved this tutorial! I was feeling sad and it just felt like doing make-up with a friendAlso I loved Winx Club as a kid growing up around 2004 (in The Netherlands) and my inner-child made me buy the palette and two lip glosses. Still waiting for them to arive tho, but they have to come from over seas so that's okay haha
It’s such a good collection! They really killed it with the packaging too, I should’ve shown it on camera but the whole color scheme and everything just gives such amazing early 2000s nostalgia!🥲
Colourpop released a new type of glitter in their third hocus pocus palette (launched back in sept-oct) called "pearlescent glitter" & interestingly it doesn't come with an eye safety warning. I'm pretty confused by this since it does still contain PET's so I'm not sure what that's about. I will say, it's very very pretty & I do enjoy using it!
I wonder if it’s the same thing in this palette! Yeah I was reading the info card and back of the palette and it just referred to them as “multidimensional finishes” so I was like hmmm…are they pressed glitters?🧐 They didn’t feel super gritty when I washed my face tho so I appreciate that!
Omg that makes me so happy to hear!!🥹🫶🏻 Duraline is such a game changer and so is lash glue for face gems!! Such “boring” products on paper but so incredibly valuable to have in your makeup arsenal!🥰⚡️
I didn’t even know it was dubbed until now 😂 I watched this on Saturday mornings and then it just disappeared. I didn’t get to watch it again until the Believix version came on Nick but Aisha and Flora were my girls so I love this collection ❤️🔥 I hope they do more niche IPs like these
I think the idea of calling the show Winx is because it sounds like wings but also win with an x. That way the Trix is tri+x (3) and it also sounds like tricks because they used to play around for fun with the winx and fairies in general while also looking for the dragon flame. It truly is not much of having meaning but it is about being catchy and cute. It reminds me of how for many words we change a letter to z in the last few years or adding it at the end of the word.
That makes more sense that it didn't come out in Canada until 2011 because I remember babysitting kids who watched it but I never did. I would have been 14. I'm waiting on ColourPop x Totally Spies though.
I have been a fan of the winx club show since I was a kid and til this day I still watch the show and along with Sailor Moon which I am bigger fan of I almost everything Sailor Moon but now there's a Winx collab With ColourPop I freaked out because it's a must have and I already have enough glitter gels so the palette and all of the glosses I will get yes because i wear glosses every single day lol
I am now on episode 6 and the Winx Club theme song lives rent free in my mind! I love it so much!🧚🏻

YES I loved this line up! It was the only time me and my brother could be satisfied with every show coming on on the weekends

Yuuuup!! Can confirm this!! I grew up watching the show on its original run, and it was so cool!!!
Also, Aisha was not named Aisha in the 4kidz version. Her name was Layla and it took me forever to get used to people calling her Aisha. Lol.

Season 4 was everything to me as a kid. Believix is so iconic. 💗🦋🧚♀️
I can’t wait to get to season 4! Season 1 is already so good!🤩
I ended up watching every single one of your reels on Instagram and decided I needed more Giovanna makeup magic. So here I am. At 1am 🥲
I love this look and your vibe girl! 🌸
You made a BEAUTIFUL makeup look
I’m so excited I just bought the palette and two of the lip glosses!!
i binged your channel and shorts today and did my first graphic liner look in AGES

Winx club was on 4kids tv on saturday mornings starting in 2004. I was obsessed wit the show and i am your age! lol
lol I don't think we had 4kids tv where I lived! Or at least I didn't know it existed!😂 I'm thrilled I can watch it for free on UA-cam now tho!
@@glamgio_nyc 4kids tv was a programming block for the Fox channel
I just found your account. I love your vibes. You're so much fun to watch. Best review from this collection. Thank you ✨️💞✨️
this is the BEST review! such a fun and pretty look! 😍 I instantly subbed

I adore this look and color combo! I like the different gem shapes you used together, too 💎 Also, that Musa gloss just 😍
Thank you so much!🤩 The Miss gloss is stunning! I’m glad the glosses were just subtle enough while still giving a little pop of color!🥰
Definitely buying this set

I am from the United States, too, but I saw Winx Club in 2004. It was on the 4Kids channel and then later Nickelodeon.

Literally everything you've mentioned about Inglot duraline and using lash glue for gems I've learned from you 😁 obsessed with using duraline now

Fairy vibes
watching shows that are typically deemed childish is low key the best because it can fill you with such joy and hope
winx is actually hella intense for a kids show

I’m thinking of buying this next paycheck idk yet
Do you know a palette with a similar colour story? I really like the greens and the pinks!

It’s for Aisha the fairy of waves who you don’t meat until season 2 also fair warning Aisha goes by Layla in the first season. (Eye-ee-sha)
I hope this doesn’t sell out at my Ulta because I’m obsessed with this collection
