I don't think I have the answer for this since everyone crochet in a different speed. :'( However, mine took me about month (working on it everyday) because I was designing and writing the pattern at the same time.

How much (in meters) yarn do we need for main and second colors?
700-1600 yards for the main color and 185-490 yards for the secondary color, depending on the size you're making. :)

I believe some of my testers used Hobbii Rainbow Lace yarn. :)
