Probably something for the mono-Ice version like Solid Rock where it reduces supereffective damage

Yo Ttar i know im some random, but i really used to enjoy your videos a lot man, i just feel like you're trying to kill your channel or give us low expectations. I'm not saying that the videos are bad its just non stop theories that'll most likely be a let down when the games come out. there's nothing wrong with riding off of hype and stuff but i miss when you created your own lore for the channel, like your school project video, the uranium play through, the clutching with damage. Your personality was fun to see every other other day, but now it just seems like you're cooked .

I was so waiting for you to say Ice/Psychic for Mega Articuno’s type. Imagine if all 3 birds got megas and their types were Ice/Psychic, Electric/Fighting, Fire/Dark. This could highlight the ways they’re genetically adjacent to their Galarian forms. Kinda like how Roaring Moon references Mega Salamence

I like the idea of Articuno mega evolving and losing its flying typing by just becoming the embodiment of cold, Ice, Snow, whatever-it just becomes this Goliath of a creature that’s no longer a bird, it’s the harsh cold instead 🥶

Mega Articuno should resemble an owl to reference some owl species’ preference to live in cold habitats
Could be even greater if Articuno didn't have to summon snow to set up the aurora veil.
Its talent could be like "Aurora Body". Once it mega evolves it automatically sets up the aurora veil. It would not benefit from snow defense boost alright, but as its mega form would increase its stats it's not a problem. And it's no more dependant of setting the snow to protect its team...
Articuno is pretty much the incarnation of Icy Winds / North Winds, it could be cool to get an additional effect : Aurora Body sets up the aurora veil and the tailwind ! 😮
I also like the idea of giving it a switch of types : Ice/Psychic
It would embrace both its forms.

What if the secondary typings of their megas are each other's base types shifted down in their "1-2-3" order. Articuno becomes ice/fire, Zapdos becomes electric/ice, and Moltres becomes fire/electric. Lots of potential with some rare and powerful type combos.
About you saying it would be the snow weather condition because it’s a Legends game… actually, snow wasn’t introduced until S/V, so maybe it would be frostbite instead like in PLA
I kind of see potentially having a fairy/ice Typing, or just straight ice, but the ability be like Blizzard where it raises Defense/Special Defense, Evasiveness, and does increased damage to non ice-type pokemon to kind of solidify it's prowess... to really show it's the commander of ice... but I do Love your opinions! Articuno ftw! As someone who loves the snow and Winter I joined Team Mystic for that reason! It deserves a mega!
could make it an ice/psychic like it's trying to be more like lugia with that same ability snow warning or keep the ice/flying and give it an ice version of delta stream so it only takes neutral damage from its ice weaknesses
I agree with you and I also think a possible Mega articuno should get snow warning. Also speaking of these legendaries, I hope GF continue what they did with the weather trio, and give the legendary birds, and other legendaries their own signature moves.

Just purely going off of trios I think it’s Azelf, Mesprit, and Uxie time to shine. I would have said Regis but they got eleki and drago in galar
snow warning is probably too op so maybe it could get something like snow rise which sets up snow like 1 turn after it enters the field or when it's on the field
For a Mega Kantonian Articuno, while I get the logic of it becoming pure Ice, I would prefer if it remained an Ice/Flying type. I do, however, agree with it having the Snow Warning ability. Another good ability for it would be Refrigerate.
In case you don't make a video for a hypothetical Mega Evolution for Galarian Articuno, I would have its typing stay the same and have its ability be Psychic Surge, Magic Bounce, Competitive, Refrigerate(to act as a connection to Kantonian Articuno), or a new ability that allows the user's Psychic-type attacks to deal neutral damage to Dark-type Pokémon(this proposed ability is one that I think could and should be distributed to several Psychic types, rather than being exclusive to one Pokémon).
So like the Articuno that won that VGC tournament, but for single player?

Team Mystic ftw! Articuno is my favourite of the legendary bird trio! Ice is also a favourite type of mine! I like a lot of Pokemon of different types but I connect a lot with ice as Winter is my favourite season and I love seeing snow!

The dex entries for the galarian birds said stuff like “when running, it’s wings make a crackling like sound. That’s why this Pokemon is called Zapdos” implying that they might not be the same pokemon

no. Legendary pokemon don't mega evolution. Pseudo legendary pokemon don't need one. Pokemon with 500 base stat total and over don't need mega evolution.

Mega Regigigas. that'd be dumb, especially if it has a new ability, unless the ability is even worse. or if the base ability of Regigigas prevents it from mega evolving during the 3 first turns

Honestly, the Galarian forms of the legendary birds were the perfect designs for their Mega Evolutions, It's a shame they wasted them on mere regional forms.
It's actually quite the opposite, because if they were Mega Evolutions then they wouldn't be returning as often or practically "ever!
