Cool family just found you guys on your sons channel and he had your channel posted asking for us to follow you so I came to check it out and see if I like your channel too and I watch one video and found a lot of interests in the hunting for food. But the love and family sarcasm is what I dig best but the prayer is what got me looking at more vids but definitely subscribed
hi Steve, ok have to say I lol when Ellie asked about dutch elm deises, that was a good one!! you are probably back home in florida, but hope you and Steven had a safe trip, cant wait to see the new Homestead!!! be safe, thank you, love to all, bill
Tonight I'm making blackened Pacific Cod with cajun style black beans and rice and wild asparagus that I picked yesterday wrapped in thick-cut hickory smoked bacon dusted in garlic and cracked black pepper.
Hello Steve. There’s money to be made if you find the right mushrooms. I will be back in Florida August 23rd to 27th. Hopefully we can get on the water again.
Very interesting Steve & beautiful Ellie, does the wild asparagus taste the same as store bought & what do morel mushrooms taste like? If I may ask, why is the family moving from beautiful Michigan to Florida? Very long drive ahead of you guys, safe travels bud 👍👍🙏🙏
We find 3 different types I find blacks first and they will be in the same spots for years. The grays and yellows I find under dying trees such as elm apple and ash but that only last till the tree is too far gone, 3 or 4 years unless the tree is slow to die. Then look for another tree in the area that is sick and the spores will grow their! Some say that there are 18 or 19 different kinds of morrells in the US. All I know is we love spring time and looking for them but we also love cooking and eating them!
You had me scared for a minute lol just kidding but im glad yall are doing awesome I can't wait to be flying back to Florida but I have a fishing reel i want to give you its for deep sea fishing ive only used it once as far as I know its a pretty good 1 i paid 200$ for it i think that you could use it and give it a better home lol its just collecting dust here but god bless you and your family and I hope your son is doing great since his engagement
