Really good profile our decks are very close. I play 2 pain just because im afraid of it getting banished by sp or a cosmic. But 1 is prob just correct. Then im playing lacrima and almiraj over desirae and abom. I want to have almiraj to help play through as many hand traps as possible. Then lacrima is nice if you already have yubel combo and dont need aerial it helps make caesar alot easier. Anyone that cuts varudras is insane btw
The idea for 2 Pain is not necessarily because you need 2 but due to Spirit getting some value in the followup. Personally I'm a big fan of Pain reflecting damage, but even if you want it at 1, you should try 1 Chronicle (just 2nd target) that gets much better under Droll or when you also have Squirmer. The idea behind it is that you can freely summon OG Yubel for more consistent Varudras lines, as well as looping Squirmer/Yama from the banished making your grind incredible. The pop effect can also be a threat while the Super Poly search was mostly bait (win more) but now has some validity if you are willing to side Protector and have a boardwipe (imo not worth it in fiendsmith build) Caesar is also great but a bit iffy, Lacrima is a must for lines that need to get the extra body using Eater's gy effect when you go into Yubel engine from DBB or Fiendsmiths. Abom is a lifesaver against backrow-stun but I get your point. Personally because of the boardbreaker approach I'm not a big fan of Apo, going for Irae + Phantom instead, while I now started to consider Varudras as the "big push" for going 2nd opting to go for Irae turn 1 instead that's recyclable.
Imo yes. when you use chamber to special back rage you can then use rage and one of your opponents monsters to make SP. so thats two pops and a third one waiting for when you chose to do it. This is literally just a better version of using IP to go into SP.
what do you normally dump of air eater ? i go for samsara then mucracker to special it back and then go full combo but i see a lot of people not play it
You can dump gruesome if you have a samsara or spirit in hand/grave but no other way to summon it. Can also dump sharvara to set trap and add back with yama from grave if youre under droll
@@phantomsygo oh that’s neat but let’s say nothing but fiendsmith einginge in hand do you just go desir rae pass or is there a way to bridge without mucracker
You can bridge! Can get into yubel combo starting with only fiendsmith engraver without using muckraker. Gonna be working on a combo video this weekend i hope
@@Y0rHiHi You don't go for Aerial Eater if you already have Yubel access. Instead of using muck that locks you into Fiends (no Varudras), you make Lacrima using the GY effect of Tract. For a step by step: 1) Engraver, get Tract, search/discard Lurrie, Summon Lurrie. 2) Lurrie into Requiem into 2nd Engraver, 3) First Engraver in GY spin back Lurrie to revive itself 4) Tract GY effect, fuse both Engravers into Lacrima, then Lacrima revive Engraver. 5) Make Sequence using Lacrima + Engraver, then DO NOT burn with Lacrima 6) Sequence makes Eater shuffling Lacrima + Requiem, then mill Samsara 7) Eater + Sequence make Yama, add Sharvara 8) Eater in GY, banish both Engravers to revive itself, then it + Yama make Rage 9) Sharvara pop Rage to SS itself 10) Rage add back Samsara, you don't have to trigger Yama yet 11) Normal Summon Samsara, tribute for Spirit, Spirit add Pain 12) Pain pops Spirit, add Squirmer 13) CL1 Yama revive Spirit, CL2 Spirit special Yubel from deck. Sharvara locks you into fiends so to unlock yourself you can make 2nd Yama, Closed Heaven or Muck 16) Terror + Sharvara into anything of the above (let's assume Closed Heaven), set unchained trap with Sharvara 17) Yubel + Terror into Phantom 18) Squirmer special from hand, pop Spirit, then Spirit summons Yubel back from the deck 19) Squirmer + Closed Heaven + Phantom into 3 mat Apo 20) Banish Squirmer to revive Spirit, then Spirit + Yubel into Varudras If you run Muck, Unchained Abomination or a different extra deck, you can give up on Apo for Phantom + Samsara instead. If you run a 2nd Yubel you can end on Phantom in the above Varudras play (you make it with double Yubel). If you run Muck, you can also go for Escape instead of Chamber to get the extra pop but it makes you weaker to boardbreakers. From step 13 and later, you just freestyle what you like
Fiendsmiths solve the issue of bridging anything into Yubel (for example Sacred Beast package or even double Squirmer). Also after siding they are more effective against boardwipes. Super Poly variant will definitely have a stronger game 1 thanks to the surprise factor as well as not losing that hard to Shifter/Droll/Nib, but you give up a lot of consistency and ceiling. On the other hand Eternal Favorite or Super Poly got a huge boost thanks to Phantom allowing you to consistently have a Yubel on the board when you need it, and the fact you can do this on demand makes this build far less weaker to Super Poly (since the older build ended with Yubel on the board). Just note that Super Poly is a bad boardbreaker this format and is better as an interruption or "game ender" similar to Accesscode (you fuse away everything except the biggest body for Protector OTK), so it won't help you start your plays against a board that will deal with any card you play (SP for Pain, Apo for DBB/Samsara etc) So you need additional boardbreakers and DRNM clashes with Super Poly leading you to somewhat inferior cards like Eclipse.
Can we get a combo video? Maybe a combo guide ?

@@babradno way youre adding another brick to this deck
