Shinedown has really been a big impact for me because I struggle with depression, and this album and all the other albums after Leave A Whisper have helped me to realize that I'm not alone, I got my family and Shinedown by my side. I grew up with Shinedown and I'll never forget what Shinedown did for me and my family... Thank you @shinedown so much for everything, keep on going and succeed in what you do.
I, too, suffer from depression/mental health disorders and I agree that all music, especially Shinedown, helps tremendously with mood disorders. When I am feeling particularly antsy, I tend to forget what a balm music is to me to the point that I leave myself postit notes around the house telling me to play music. Someone once posted that Mr. Smith could sing her the dictionary and it would hit gold.

While I only got into Shinedown with the Sound of Madness album, 20 years and still going strong in the fickle music industry is VERY respectful. I have seen many shows from SD, and like other older bands that have gone on forever (and have seen live as many as 40 times over decades) SD absolutely will also be one of those rare bands that go on forever. One day I will be able to say I saw SD 40 times. The dedication, quality, and credibility of melodic music is ingrained in the best of the best bands, and thankfully for the fans, is what drives them on and on to make more great music and lyrics. I am certain there will be 20 year anniversary mark for Planet Zero at the time Leave a Whisper celebrates 40 years.

The emotion in this album was immense. It was my introduction to music. Thank you for putting it out, all you went through and coming out on the other side.
Saw Shinedown in a midsize bar when they only had leave a whisper out. It might be my favorite album of all time.
Same! I saw them on I think their first tour, in a small venue in Minneapolis. It was an incredible experience that I wish I could revisit.

I've been there from the start and loved every step of the way. Of course, I now have to set farther back at the concerts, but I do what I can to be there. 60 yrs old now Aerosmith and Shinedown have carried my all the way... awesome thanks.

Shinedown was my first real concert and I still remember it so vividly. Every song was perfection and the delivery was breathtaking. Brent gave me a big old hug during the meet and greet after the show when I told him I wasn't able sneak my camera in and how I sang to every single one of their songs. Such a memorable time and after all these years I love that they have remained so true and humble in their music. I've owned every album from the very beginning. I have so much love for this band.

man I remember going to all those small packed concerts at clear channel in little rock. being right in front..... 20 yrs later almost, i was right up front at Simmons arena.. u guys have been the biggest influence in my life and I've been able to help others bc of Shinedown .. you've saved my life, more than once or twice. love you all
TO THIS DAY, THE GREATEST ALBUM THEY HAVE EVER MADE!!! Wish they would do something special with that album….even the demos and unreleased songs that I have on my deluxe album are INCREDIBLE!!! I can’t believe it’s been 20 years since then, it came out my junior year, goddamn time flies haha.

I was at your Orlando concert in april.. that was one of the most extraordinary things I've ever witnessed in my life.. it was my first concert.. and as a 14 year old going into high-school and suffering from anxiety, depression, adhd and a few other mental health issues.. your songs have related to me beyond many and it feels good knowing you aren't the only one going through similar issues... like there's a whole world of people and many of them struggle with the same things.. I have so much respect and love for this band.. thank you ❤

I heard him and his brother at the time play an acoustic version of 45 of 103.9 in southern california was a immediate fan saw them perform shortly there after, now I'm going to go see them in tennessee in october can't wait.

Leave a Whisper is my favorite album by far. Every single track is gold, it ranks above Sound of Madness and Threat to Survival for me for its sheer quality and rawness
Leave a Whisper....I was so lucky to catch it on release, never looked back, up to Amarilys (too poppy now boys, sorry). And I look back at it now and Rick Beato produced it.
