- Nobody or only a few ride this section because there's a misconception of the kind of trail you will find. I was also one of those until I started riding it and the more I went on the more I realised how difficult and fun this section it is. Come with me and let's see this little known but very enjoyable section of the TET Spain.
NOTE: sorry for the horrible audio quality.
DISCLAIMER: As you may now the TET is in constant evolution thanks to the linesman who is always looking for new alternative routes. Hence at the time I recorded this video the current "section 19" was "section 9". Always check the routes and updates the tet website before riding.
Definitely some technical sections...you handled those well. Keep up the great videos...nice to see that part of the world...looks a lot like Canada in some places (just warmer)!
Hey 👋🏼 Jared!! Thanks for watching. I’d trade some Spanish trails for some Canadian trails anytime.
excellent report dude
Cheers mate!
Wonderful video, is that the section 9 of the TET site (It doesn't work currently. They might have a technocal issue at the site). I LOVE close to Gelida etc. And would like to do this trail 🤩
They might have downtime with the server, I really don't know. The sections change over time so it's better that you wait and download the newest trail. I normally have to change the title of the video to match the current tet trail. This section is so empty and unexplored, but that doesn't mean you won't find some tricky parts. Ride safe!!
the part of the video right at the end (16mins) is the type of riding i want as this is the similar terrain to home, rocky, loose and very tech - this is the Spain i wish to ride
You should definitely try it now. It hasn't rained for a long time, so honestly any tyres can do it. It's more a matter of skills and body position
Interesting videos. I want to try the TET sooner than later. But the app is very daunting for me. The sections on my TET app don't even match with the ones you menction.
Could you make some kind of tutorial on the basics for how to navigate the TET tracks? Apps, tips and tricks?
I know is easier to ask than to do. But I'm sure many would appreciate.
Which app are you using? I’ve heard the TET app is not as good as other ones. For android I’ve heard and read that OsmAnd app is the one to go. I tried it on my android and I couldn’t get used to it. For the iPhone I use MapsOut, it is a MTB and hiking app but for this kind of off-road adventures is great because the map is clear and you can find alternatives on the go because it uses open street map. Try a few and I’m sure you’ll find out. On your first TET ride try to go with someone. Some sections are easy but others like this one can be a bit tricky and hard. Happy rides and thanks for watching my video ✌🏼😃
I have just downloaded the latest TET track and there has been changes since I rode this section. It used to be Section 9 but now it is Section 19, perhaps that is why it doesn't match.
@@lightadventuremotorcycle yes, to me it was shown as section 19. I'll try my luck with OsmAnd. Thank you!
Hi, thanks for the video, can you tell me what KM is the last part of the video? because i would like to avoid it
it starts in KM 57 and finishes in km 61. You could take the T-244 and then join the T-2441 and join the TET further down.
Which app do you use for navigation on your phone?
MapOut, sadly it's only available for iOS
i think your rear bags prevent stabilization of the rear wheel on road. i have an crf rally user too living in Türkiye ^^ so take care
Yes you’re right! Any type of bags of panniers will cause the bike to change its center balance and make the rider to apply more force/power to performance certain movements. I love Türkiye 🇹🇷 I need to visit it again. Take care and happy rides !
omg, i remember this part very well... did it with my 690 uphill in april...and with my AT in november, and crashed downhill...after pushing downhill to the street, i decided that i need a ligher bike exactly at his point...will sell my AT and buy a VOGE ;)
I've heard good things about the Voge. How is it so far?
Do bikers use mousses on these trails?
some do, I do not. This is a bit of a open topic. I have been tempted to mount them but in the end some of my riding friends, who also ride enduro bikes and big trail bikes, told me not to do so. I guess it really depends how patient are you when connecting trails on the asphalt, and how many kilometres you want to ride.
