Hi, Caroline. I'm Deb - a fellow Aussie - at least you sound Australian to me. :) I'm an indie author of fantasy novels, and have been toying with the idea of creating colouring books for a long time now. I am so pleased I found your channel.

Thanks for this video!! I feel like AI is a tool just like the internet or a computer. I appreciate you adding this to your channel!!

    Just a heads up:
Currently, you can’t own a US copyright on AI made art and books and have no protection against your ‘work’ being legally ripped off by anybody who wishes to.
Also, you have to admit on Amazon’s registration form that the work is AI. While there is currently no penalty for AI, what they’ll do with the data in the future is unknown.
While AI is here to stay, some research and caution may be useful in avoiding disappointment.

Midjourney breaches a lot of copyright, so I it's a gamble, I agree plus it rips off a lot of artists. AI should be creative commons by law if anything.

So can you submit midjourney’s images directly to KDP without vectorizing them ?

Hi 👋 I downloaded a book to KDP and Amazon Blocked my book. The email said Copyright and the content will be disappointed experience. But my book is about Crochet. Someone have a idea what can I be?

Did you figure out why they blocked your book? Or how you can unblock the publishing? I came across a couple other people that had a similar experience.

Can you show proof of having used your own KDP account to publish an AI book? Or are you just pushing everyone else to use AI but not doing this yourself?

You are funny she is not doing that all you are trying to do is get her to reveal a pen mame. I also have several AI books published.

My concern is the copyright piece and / or getting blocked. I know Amazon allows AI but it sounds like it isn’t clear how MUCH alteration makes an image ours (artist copyright) and it also seems like Amazon is flagging people even though they say it is permitted.

when you put into the AI what you want , that makes it aaaaan original that you made it doesn't have copyright issues .

Using an AI is still artistic. It's our imagination that is inputted to create the art. You might as well not use a calculator too, since it's not you using pen and paper to calculate your math equations.

AI is here folks, embrace it. I have published books with AI graphic content as well as artist created content. In the end it’s all in the customer hands if they like it or not. Most people see an image and either like it or don’t before they know if it’s human or AI created. My 2 best sellers are an AI created and a Human artist created book.

    Guys
First thing before watching any of these videos check out what product she is affiliate marketing. You will be lucky if you make money but she will for sure. Good on her. But it's good to learn things even if you can't make money competing with the other 50 million products. Don't take me wrong I am your subscriber. But if you can make similar videos you and promote every other product weather useful or not you will make money. But not by watching these videos.
Make one single video for your subscribers without promoting any products, I dare you.

I have been following Caroline for some time now and I have made money selling books on amazon, thus by watching this type of videos and learning. So why should it be wrong that she is promoting the same tools that she is using?

Disgusting and immoral 🤮 Not only this AI was created using artist's works WITHOUT their consent they also don't receive one cent from it. Shame on you for promoting this

So you went to school, and your parents paid for every knowledge you receive from the teacher ? For every single picture, you have seen in a book ? And you pay for every picture you see on the Internet ? As journalist I know very well about copyright and royalty fees. Yet. Learning always should be free. Imagine, you become an apprendenship student, and the master you learn from plumbing, welding, wood work or any other handcraftsmanship, want you to pay for every single wisdom he gives you on hands. Where shall this end ? We cant capitalize every single segment of life. Be happy, that some coders sit day and night, and program A.I., as maybe one day, you visit a doctor, and only A.I. could analyse the ultra sonic picture properly finding patterns which indicate an illness of your organs.
Even as artist (I am designer on my own) you can get lots of inspirations by A.I., same, as you can go to a museum, and watch all these "old masters". Do museums pay to all the great artists who are no more ? Yet, you still can learn form a Leonardo Davinci, a Van Gogh, a Picasso, right ? So, are you paying ? From Dutch artists you can learn a lot about oil painting, the technics using light and shadow, and even about mixture of hand made oil paints (which are very special being produced by these Dutch artists, because they used pigments which don't fade away).
Learning should always be free, as we always have to learn from each other, its a giving and taking. Nobody can learn by himself/herself without having access to the knowledge of others. - If we'd follow your expectations, then learning would be only for the very rich ones (and you see in USA, how it ends, that a student just finished his / her examens, starts the profession with huge depts, working next 10 years only to pay back the loan).
Lets proclaim an open minded society ... where learning has highest priority. Think about Star ship enterprise series. A human race living on planet earth united, and exploring galaxies just for the sake of "learning". Imagine, you'd never have to think anymore about money making, because its just "primitve trading" of ancient times. All what counts how to service a society by your knowledge. No need to think about clothes, a home or how you finance your mobility. Its just about learning, and sharing knowledge to solve problems. This is not communism or socialism. This is a free society, without the burden, that some few greedy people become richer and richer and enslave human mankind. A billionaire gained in 2022 roughly $1.7 million for every $1 of new global wealth earned by a person in the bottom 90 percent. I think that's the real problem. Rich people become richer, and people with low income become poorer. Maybe you should address these injustice first ?? Sorry for my long typing. But I am now more than 6 decades on this planet. And I went through lots of global events, financial crisis, wars ... and free neo-capitalism by sure is not the answer for justice.
