@Impaleification two things, the discussion is that the trap is easy bc is his roomate only and bc he say him is dead, you cant say than she know he is alive bc we see his eyes open in the first movie, and the pain is nothing compared with another traps from saw franchise
We can conclude that Amanda did the same thing as Hoffman did when setting up his trap for Seth Baxter in Saw V. He used his own voice and altered it digitally to make it sound like Jigsaw. I think Amanda did the same, just might've took more effort than usual. That or this trap was originally meant to work, she just rigged it afterwards to keep Kerry from escaping.
I think it was originally supposed to work but Amanda rigged it to be inescapable. This may have been the trap that alerted John Kramer to Amanda's decisions to give the victims no escape from death. Most likely John made the recording for Kerry.
Hoffman actually did too in this movie. He is seen tweaking the Rack and John told him to compensate or the trap would have too much force and to consult him in future when tweaking traps
Actually, when Amanda had to dig the key out of her boyfriend's stomach, he wasn't already dead, he was paralyzed and he was conscious while she was cutting him open so that sin was invalid.
Randomgames with Daniel Honestly I don't have the time for this, but I remember that almost every second sin is logically false or just wrong from a storytelling point of view. Just watch the movie and pay attention to it, then come here and watch the video again, if you aren't too stupid you should recognise the bullshit sins by yourself
I just got my wisdom teeth pulled and the wounds hurt a bit, since the cuts were pretty deep and one was kinda stuck to the jaw and just because i know this little bit of pain i feel really weird seeing the torture scenes, since they are just that bit more relate-able. Anyway. Happy scary month everyone!
I got 4 wisdom teeth pulled (two that had to be cracked into pieces and pulled out piece by piece) with barely an ounce of novocaine, then was prescribed over the counter level tylenol for the pain. All in one sitting. I know pain, and these movies are tedious and boring with excessive amounts of useless gore. Id rather watch paint dry than any Saw movie.
The reason Amanda shot the surgeon was cuz Hoffman was going to tell Jigsaw about Amanda and her junkie lover that killed Jigsaws wife’s baby, so Amanda had to kill the surgeon in order to keep it a secret.
@@TheWaggishAmericanactually they do sin it in Saw whatever (6?) where Hoffman reads the note Jill left on his desk Jeremy brought it up and sinned the notion this threat was that big of a deal as John probably already figured it out being omnipotent and even if not this far into her progress he wouldn't rage and throw her into a trap
I like to think that is part of why Amanda was in her trap. She was drugged up and all, then when the death of his unborn child happened, is when her & the other guy got into their traps. Cause there's no way he didn't know about her involvement. So technically Hoffman didn't have anything on Amanda that John didn't know...
He’s a pretty observant guy. I’m pretty sure he would have been on to her by this point also he even points out how he fixed her errors so I’m pretty sure he was watching her to make sure she did the traps right He even made sure Hoffman was punished for breaking the biggest rule postmortem
In Amanda's trial, that was her boyfriend she had to cut open, and he was actually alive, but under some sort of muscle-relaxer that did not allow him to move. That's why it was supposed to be "hard".
I forgot it was even a Saw 3D. I guess because I hated 3D movies so much. That shit annoys the fuck out of my eyes. I never watched one again after taking my little cousins to see that Transformers "3D" movie (I know that's not the title of that movie. I honestly forgot what it was).

Personally this is my second favourite in the franchise, I loved seeing the setup for the 1st trap and watching Amanda's and John's relationship grow and I liked the Jeff trial
The end ruins it for me. Amanda was cunning and clever in "Saw II," The setup was brilliant, and it was completely undone. Amanda was written into a corner of being a psychopath basically just to kill her off. She demonstrated none of the psychological hang-ups in this film in "Saw II." Every story about her failings, every tear she shed when someone died was to fool everyone else into believing she was in danger just like the rest of them. She went from completely carrying off the game in "Saw II" to building unwinnable traps and cursing out John. Frankly, the John/Amanda relationship comes down to Bell and Smith. They met prior to filming, just the pair of them, and lived as the characters. Going out and doing things they felt John and Amanda would have done when not constructing a game. It was thanks to their efforts that the relationship between the two of them pays off as well as it does in the film.
That moment when you have to use a “SAW” to cut off your foot. Life tip: Kids, don’t play with insanely enlarged ice blocks that can obviously smash-in your skull.
But that's the whole point when Amanda takes over for Jigsaw. Her traps are inescapable which John reprimanded her for, basically calling her a murderer. All of John's traps at least had a way out. The sequels did go ham with the gore though
@@BrynnBeverly Not all of them. Eric's was escapable. But he chased her down and for all intents and purposes looked like he was going to kill her. Even then, she didn't finish him off.
@@nick37104 it is kind of funny how the end of a movie and beginning of the movie can be so different He was in the exact same predicament but seamlessly shattered his foot yet Adam never thought of the idea and he was the one chained by the toilet
Got a few more things on Kerry's trap. 1) in the tape jigsaw claimed that the key would dissolve in a matter of seconds. It had to have been set up prior making this questionably invalid information. Also with how long it takes her to even go for the key it should be dissolved. 2) We can clearly see the acid is just hung by chains and can easily swing back and forth. Why would she not dump at least some of it out (sparing the key obviously) to keep he entire hand from being submerged in the acid.
On the first point, if the key would have dissolved in a matter of seconds, it would have been useless the moment it dropped into the acid, as the key would be corroded enough to prevent it from being used properly on the lock. Either it was not an acid that would dissolve the key, and the comment was made to get Kerry to hurry, which makes sense, given Kramer wants people to survive and learn from his games, or it was an acid that would dissolve the key quickly, which makes sense, given it was an Amanda trap. On the second point, most of the series traps can be outsmarted without self mutilation, the apprentice traps not withstanding. However, it is hard to think outside the box for other solutions when you have just awoken from a drug-induced stupor, are undoubtedly scared to death, and are only given a limited amount of time to solve the traps. And it is not like Kramer is trapping and testing Mensa members. The only viable method the victims usually have is to listen to Kramer's tapes for the possible solution.
The key would just fall to the floor if she tipped the jar; she already has her ribcage pinned and her arms suspended. She wouldn’t be able to reach it
Also, that guy in the chains has no way of tearing out that one that is currently THROUGH his jaw bone yet he still tears through all the other chains.
you wanna talk about the brain surgery scene being disgustingly excessive? what about the autopsy at the beginning of saw iv? no one needed to see jigsaw taken apart organ by organ. I get that this series is torture porn, but at what point does enough become enough?

You could've sinned the fact he didn't wake up while being sliced open, but decided to MANUFACTURE a sin by cutting that part out. Why?
What's the difference? She was told that he was dead, she believed that he was dead, in her reality, all she had to do was cut open the stomach of someone she thought was dead. Regardless of whether he was actually dead or not, that doesn't change the fact that her 'big test' was cutting open a someone's stomach while other people have to mutilate their bodies or put their life on the line. Just because he got one detail wrong doesn't make the sin 'manufactured'
I’m interested to see if they carry on with the story, because they all sucked ass after saw 3, or whether this is just going to be a dumb Halloween filler movie. Either way I’m going to watch it
4:34 Did we need to know that the woman Amanda kidnapped to treat Jigsaw is a skilled doctor/surgeon? Yes, that's kind of important information for the story.
Kerry could've tipped the jar of acid forward draining some of it thus reducing the pain of getting the key. I know the game was unwinnable but I'm just saying.
After Saw 2, everything became a gore clown fiesta. Everybody that watched Saw 1, praised the film because of its tension and suspense. The gore was minimal for the most part, until the end, but that happened for plot reasons.

2:17 “I saw something strange on the Tv so i fired a bunch of bullets into a perfectly good door for no reason and possibly killed someone that was there to help me just because they WAVED AT ME”
@Jacob Pleggenkuhle Based on the writing, I suppose. But for me, that was one of the first things that turned me off the franchise. The set up of "Saw II" was brilliant. I never for a moment thought she was involved during the first viewing. I thought, as I'm sure was intended, that she'd either fouled up, which she says at the midway point conversing with Daniel, or that Jigsaw targeted her again to "finish the job" like Jason or Michael Myers. She nailed her objective in "Saw II." She flew completely under the radar, kept Daniel safe and alive, delivered him to Jigsaw, and then got her moment to rub Eric's face in it for being an idiot. I was stoked after "Saw II" to see where the series would take the Jigsaw and Amanda dynamic. I was pumped to see "Saw III," and the longer it went, the more apprehensive I became. The twist should have been obvious but I managed to miss it. Needless to say, when it was revealed, I was pretty pissed off. After all the brilliant legwork in showing Amanda could be calculating, cunning, and ruthless, to the point of putting on crocodile tears after each death in the nerve gas house, she turns into this twitchy psychopath with no regard for Jigsaw's code? Seriously? "Saw III" reeks of Whannell trying to end the franchise on a trilogy. Amanda was written to kill off Eric, but they deleted the scene before they released it, if left in, that loose end would have been tied. Kerry, John, and Amanda, the three most important characters remaining from the first two films are killed off. Amanda's written to be a disturbed psychopath who is shown mercy killing Adam just to make sure the audience is completely turned against her by the final reel. After calling John "A father, a leader, a teacher," in the second film, she insults and curses at him and says his methods are bullshit shortly before meeting her demise. The only thing she got out of the deal was the official female leading role in a "Saw" film. While the emotional scenes between Amanda and John definitely pack a punch, that's the work of Bell and Smith to make that happen, not the writing. After signing on for the film, they both spent time together, going places, "in character," to develop the relationship between John and Amanda that we see in the final film. Dina Meyer got a deal even more raw. She shows up in a glorified cameo only to be immediately killed off, and to once again, spark audience hatred in Amanda for killing Kerry with an unwinable trap. Even Rigg, who in "Saw II" acted as the devil on his shoulder and helping to goad Eric into the mistake that led to him being at Jigsaw's mercy, before eventually being killed by Rigg himself, basically got an entire "Saw" movie to be a protagonist. Kerry, who was the most intelligent of the three in "Saw II," got the shaft. What I don't understand is why Whannell would attempt it. He had to know there was no way the studio would stop making the films when they were pulling in as much money as they were, and it deprived us of an expansion of one of the most interesting relationships in the "Saw" franchise. John's death could have been prolonged to at least the fourth film, maybe even the fifth. If they wanted to go this route with Amanda, it should have developed over a couple of films, not, "She's cunning in this film. Oh wait, fooled you. She's actually a deranged psycho. Look! She killed Kerry AND Adam! EVIL!" By doing it, they spent the next several sequels shoehorning in Hoffman to have been an apprentice as far back as before Gordon's trap. John is seen giving him the penlight of Gordon to plant before Gordon was even in the trap. Then he's shoehorned into "Saw II" in flashbacks, which cheapens the reveal because Amanda was never the sole apprentice. Sometimes it's fun to imagine "Saw II" is the last one. Amanda makes Eric pay for his sins, Daniel lives, and the pair ride off into the sunset to continue testing unseen victims who don't appreciate life.
My problem with that key in acid trap is that, why couldn't she tilted the jar so that some of the acid would spill out, reducing the damage. I mean, the key doesn't work so I know it's pointless but still. Not worth trying it?
that's one of main problem with many of the traps is that if you think about it's easy to win. However with the stress and pressure the "victims " just panic causing them to lose a lot of time

At 2:46, if you watch the other Saw movies (I forgot which one) they explain they have a mixer for doing the voice because the Detective who ends up taking over both Jigsaw and Amanda uses it. [-1]
I watched all the movies in a huge marathon, so I really appreciated the connectivity of the storyline.

a sin to cinema sins for not knowing that the sock is so he doesn't break his teeth from the pressure of pressing them together

@@dusksunsetio6042 putting a sock in your mouth doesn't ease the pain. A common reflex of any large pain is for the person yo shout out but then clamp down their jaw. The sock stops you from breaking your teeth, straining your jaw muscles, or biting off your tongue
@Impaleification what pain do you suffer cutting a stomach? Nothing...
@Impaleification yeah but he says physical pain "physical" and you see amanda killing people in the movies, why she was gonna suffer mental pain? is your live or do it...
@Impaleification two things, the discussion is that the trap is easy bc is his roomate only and bc he say him is dead, you cant say than she know he is alive bc we see his eyes open in the first movie, and the pain is nothing compared with another traps from saw franchise
8:57 he wasn't dead, he watched her while she cut him open
He knows. He watched the first 2.
Sherry Bernard and then sinned this one because she didn't want to cut into him "even though he was dead"
Most likely John made the recording for Kerry.
oh like she did with the first trap
Hoffman actually did too in this movie. He is seen tweaking the Rack and John told him to compensate or the trap would have too much force and to consult him in future when tweaking traps
I literally had a Jigsaw Ad

Yup. Because CimenaSins is a mainstream channel on UA-cam
Explosive Towels It's close to Halloween. It shouldn't be surprising.
Explosive Towels so you could have figuratively or metaphorically gotten a jigsaw ad?
Actually, when Amanda had to dig the key out of her boyfriend's stomach, he wasn't already dead, he was paralyzed and he was conscious while she was cutting him open so that sin was invalid.
He got so many things wrong in this video, its almost painful to watch
Light Yagami yeah this guy didn't even pay attention to the movie.

Honestly I don't have the time for this, but I remember that almost every second sin is logically false or just wrong from a storytelling point of view.
Just watch the movie and pay attention to it, then come here and watch the video again, if you aren't too stupid you should recognise the bullshit sins by yourself
Go watch the first CinemaSin's Saw video it is mentioned by the narrator that he was alive and how ridiculous it was.
I just got my wisdom teeth pulled and the wounds hurt a bit, since the cuts were pretty deep and one was kinda stuck to the jaw and just because i know this little bit of pain i feel really weird seeing the torture scenes, since they are just that bit more relate-able.
Anyway. Happy scary month everyone!

im gonna get my wisdom teeth remove in 2 days... weird...
I got 4 wisdom teeth pulled (two that had to be cracked into pieces and pulled out piece by piece) with barely an ounce of novocaine, then was prescribed over the counter level tylenol for the pain. The reason Amanda shot the surgeon was cuz Hoffman was going to tell Jigsaw about Amanda and her junkie lover that killed Jigsaws wife’s baby, so Amanda had to kill the surgeon in order to keep it a secret.
This is true but it was probably added to make Saw III make more sense.
But we don't know that yet- they don't sin based on future films, but on the current one and any predating it.
Why Hoffman want the surgeon dead?
@@TheWaggishAmericanactually they do sin it in Saw whatever (6?) where Hoffman reads the note Jill left on his desk
Jeremy brought it up and sinned the notion this threat was that big of a deal as John probably already figured it out being omnipotent and even if not this far into her progress he wouldn't rage and throw her into a trap
I like to think that is part of why Amanda was in her trap. She was drugged up and all, then when the death of his unborn child happened, is when her & the other guy got into their traps. Cause there's no way he didn't know about her involvement. So technically Hoffman didn't have anything on Amanda that John didn't know...
I’m surprised you didn’t sin the fact that Jigsaw captured/tortured a guy solely because the guy was too sad about his son getting hit by a car.
He was being borderline abusive to his daughter. I think he needed a reality check.

also he even points out how he fixed her errors so I’m pretty sure he was watching her to make sure she did the traps right
He even made sure Hoffman was punished for breaking the biggest rule postmortem
@@NationalSportsEntertainmentNSEGood point. Perhaps he let her do it, allowing her choices to eventually get herself killed.
In Amanda's trial, that was her boyfriend she had to cut open, and he was actually alive, but under some sort of muscle-relaxer that did not allow him to move. That's why it was supposed to be "hard".
Cecil from Saw IV was her boyfriend. The guy on the ground was her cellmate.
I think i read somewhere that he was her Drug Dealer....
He was just another drug addict that was a patient at the clinic Jill worked at.
When I first heard it, I thought he said "soulmate," but it was "cellmate," so not her boyfriend, though he *was* alive

Seriously? Hellraiser? That movie isn't scary at all. It's gory, and gross as hell, but it's not scary. And even worse, it's boring.
The reverse bear traps are still fair game, right?
so many traps are not escapable, therefore ruining the purpose of redeeming themselves right from the start...
that's just a gore festival.

1) Idiots like yourself respect what the idiots who made this have to say, so as long as there's fans of this channel, it's going to be misleading for people who don't think twice about what it's saying (around 95% of it's fans)
2) You decided to watch a franchise knowing well that it'll try to disgust you, so stop complaining about it

EVIL!"
By doing it, they spent the next several sequels shoehorning in Hoffman to have been an apprentice as far back as before Gordon's trap.
16:37 "Sweep the Leg" 😂
My problem with that key in acid trap is that, why couldn't she tilted the jar so that some of the acid would spill out, reducing the damage. I mean, the key doesn't work so I know it's pointless but still. Not worth trying it?
that's one of main problem with many of the traps is that if you think about it's easy to win. However with the stress and pressure the "victims " just panic causing them to lose a lot of time
The jar wasn't able to be tilted from her angle.
