Hey Jake, thanks for all the great content. Do you think you could do a video on barefoot shoes and boots for trails. Curious what your thoughts are on that topic, thanks!
Hello Jake! For gym training (light weight lifting) with some treadmill after, would you advise these MC Trainer 2/3 or the Rapidmove Adv Trainer? I found them at the exact same price. Metcon are also on the table. Also, how do I actually know I have wide feet? Thank you in advance!
I'd go RapidMove! Go to a shoe store and use one of the scales. You'll get an idea of width measurements, then you can cross-reference. You can also trace your foot and do it that way. Make sure if you trace you go sockless and put some weight on your foot so it spreads how it normally would if standing :)
Great video, as always. I’ve been on a continual search for a cross training shoe that can handle heavy lifts but also has enough midsole foam that it’s comfortable for jumping. I’m settled with the Metcon, but the plastic heel support makes it clunky, and the midsole is not quite springy enough for my tastes. Doesn’t seem to be a good middle ground. I’ve tried the Rad (too narrow and tall), all the flat shoes (not enough midsole), NoBull (trainer is too hard, trainer+ is too big overall), etc. etc…Thanks for your reviews!
@@thatfitfriend Thanks! Found out the dropset 2 are on a superb sale, guess they’re the best option out of the other 2. I guess that would be the best choice based on your videos and experience
Hi Jake - do you by chance do videos for Kids shoes? My son just started football - he is 8 years old and has a wider foot. Today they had them training in the parking lot doing drills and sprinting. Looking for a shoe that he can do springing in as well as change direction/pivot etc for the drills - anything come to mind?
I don't, I'm sorry! I don't have kids yet, but this thought for content hasn't been lost on me! What size is he? I can help you look into brands that have wider constructions that could work for that context!
Hey Jake, What would be best hybrid shoes for narrow foot and that can be used to run 2-5 mile runs as well from NIke/On Cloud? I am thinking to get MC training 3, but you mentioned they are good upto only a mile. Thanks.
Dropset 2 if your asks are focused on strength work with some plyos sprinkled in. They also have a wider toe box. MC can be good if you need a shoe for everything. Run narrow, though.
@@amol5146 most similar to everyset, but with a softer midsole. Rapidmove fits wider than these and has a better platform in the context of feeling balanced and less pitched forward!
I picked up a pair of Amplimoves recently, on the cheap, and I did not like them. My general rule for shoes is that I really shouldn't know they're there. These just felt really tight and my feet felt cramped. I'm usually a size 10 in my training shoes (even other adidas), but these felt small. There's a difference between your foot feeling secure and your foot feeling tight... these felt tight. Not a ton of support either. I wore them for a HIIT style bootcamp, with almost everything thrown in, and the Amplimoves didn't really excel anywhere. For the money, I'd go with the adidas Rapidmove, if you're looking at adidas training shoes. Just my $0.02 😁
Hey Jake, thank you for the detailed review.
Would you recommend the MC Trainer 3 for hybrid use?
Are there any better options in this price point?
It can work for some short runs, imo! For this price, these are really solid and I'd rip these or Rapidmove from Adidas

Yeah! I love that idea, I've done one-off reviews, but I should build out a round-up since I rock barefoot shoes so often for outdoor wear

Have you tried Inov8 yet? Look into the F Fly or G 300 - they may work for your asks!
Thank you!
Which would you choose for the gym, the Nike MC Trainer 3, or the Adidas Everyset? Where mostly will be used for weights
Everyset would be my pick, but both can work fine, imo!

Which one youll suggest then everyset , rapidmove or mc trainer 3? For normal gym training (Running strength cardio)
Both can work. Rapidmove is a bit better for running, though, and it fits wider
Which would you pick between these and the free metcon 6 for general gym sessions?
Can't go wrong with either for general stuff, tbh. I'd go MC if price is a factor, though! They're solid for the money

On Cloud X 3/4 and Free Metcon 6 would be my picks!
@@thatfitfriend okay, thank you.
I actually preferred these to the Metcon 9.
Aside from price they felt better for more dynamic movements to me.
Yeah, I can see that. 9s in general are meh.
Which is better this or addias dropset trainer 2 im getting it for similar price in the sale in india right now, kindly let me know.
Depends on what you’re training for pure weightlifting, hybrid training or more hiit with a little bit of strength training or pure running

Ele é versátil? Serve tanto para pegar peso como para esteira? 🇧🇷!!
Mc ou Nike flex esperience 12?
These or nano flex v2? Both are of the same price.
If you plan to do any cardio at all, I'd go MC! If not, or you plan to do CF, Nano works great
@@thatfitfriendjust plyos
@@jjcornelio7741 Mc would be better imo!
@@thatfitfriendthanks, man! I really appreciate it.
giw does it compare to adidas dropset trainer 3
Less lifting focused and runs narrower
Could you also review the Adidas Amplimove?
I can add them to the list!
