This content is awesome, first channel I've ever actually checked youtube every day to see if you've posted. Please keep it up
🤘🏼🤘🏼 will do
@@kruesioriginals and don't stop swearing or cussing as you Yanks say
You know you can get notifications so you don't gotta check everyday right?
Your explanation of bolt size relative to torque spec was a complete epiphany for me. Simple, yet fucking brilliant!!! Your channel is fun/entertaining, and educational. Keep this shit coming!
Hell yeah man thank you very much.
Best UA-cam notifications is from this channel 🔥
You're already knocking that build outta the park Ryan. Sick bro
You guys are killing it. I'm back tracking on these videos cause they're fun as hell to watch. Ya'll are funny. I hope to one day be a dyna bro and visit your shop / maybe give you my money.
Sick as always ! Looking forward to the next one
Here we go! This is what I waited all weekend for
Looks solid bro. Thinking might need to do a mid-control setup on my SG... Nice work though!
Hell yeaa!! I need this for my softail!
Cool bike I like the blacked out look.
I thoroughly enjoyed the little imaginary stunt show with the beauty sound effects hahaha while your sitting on that bike lmao
😎😎
Love your content homie!
With all these trailer park boys references we need a bubbles montage or portray! The outfit and all lol! But I've got a 2020 low rider s and thats pretty much the seating position stock I got a Saddleman step up which helped alot!
Wanted forwards on my softail standard, and now Kruesi convinced me to just keep them. LOL. Well.. that $500 i save.
Agree with the homie only channel I check for new videos on almost daily!
Hell yeah my man ring that bell you’ll get notifications when they pop up
I want these mids. Now i will have to get ANOTHER new exhaust to make it fit.
love this fat bob series, awesome
Awesome video, thanks. Appreciate the time you take to post these! You have quite a bit more clearance with those aftermarket pipes. HD says this kit would fit a stock system. It would be tight no doubt.
I don’t think I would try it with the stock set up you definitely want to in the one with high clearance
@@kruesioriginals For the record the mid kit fits perfectly with zero clearance issues with the stock exhaust. It's like it was made for it. I have pictures on request.
@@markwhitefleet8289 hey mark anyway I could get those pictures? How's the mid set up been for you?
Installed this kit on my 21 Fat Bob. Changed the handling drastically for the better. No longer along for the ride, I'm actually shoving it into corners and am now an active rider. However - shit design on the shift lever. Snapped off two of them. The pivot pin is PRESSED in. Crap!. I drilled it out 1/2", inserted seamless sleeve (1/2" od, 3/8" id x 1.25") then used a 2" button allen bolt with opposing nuts and loc-tite on the end. Hopefully it won't fall off when I'm riding this time. Shifting seems to not be as smooth as with the forward controls. Will mess with the length of pull. Overall a great upgrade - unless you just want to sit back an cruise...... FYI this will not fit with factory exhaust. Perfect excuse for my Bassani SS Short Ripper!
I need pics of this fix. Mine broke off as well. Garbage design with the pressed pin.
Much Respect to Kruesi Originals! 🇺🇸🤘
Foot position looks way better and more comfortable 👍☝️❤
Great video. Has any one installed this kit with the s&s superstreet 2-1? Did you need the brake lever from s&s? I know you do for the oem kit, but not sure about this kit
Great video and content. I recently purchased a 2014 softail slim And it’s the first cycle I’ve owned with forward Controls.... I don’t like them! Does any one know of a conversion kit like this one for the slim or if this one could be made to work
Thx
I have recent back issues that are making forward controls / cruisers (I ride at Fat Bob 18) a challenge to ride when it comes to bumps and tail bone. I was looking for mid-control rides to help absorb the shock with my legs, did you feel a difference / a better positioning to leverage your legs instead of your core muscles trying to stand up? I appreciate any feedback
The bars on that Dyna in the background go hard 👍
I’m not sure which bike it is but I’m pretty sure those are our bars
@@kruesioriginals just an idea, 4 piece bmx bars on your riser setup 🔥🔥
My Breakoutcontrols just right. I love stickin my Feet to the Frontside.
Thx Buddy
I NEED THOSE!!!
Now I can finally get a Harley.
Dopest dope. Now tell your boy at Harley to make some for baggers 🤘🏻
Amen
I was wondering if this set up would work on a 05 night train and if so what part number and brand is
Awesome! Is this kit available for a 2015 fat bob
I have this kit on my Sport Glide. Agree with the seating position but leverage on rear brake is bad. It doesn’t matter while riding but matters when trying to maneuver in slow speeds.
I wish there was some sort of extended pedal solution out there.
The liquor’s calling the shots now, Randy.
Lim jayhe Trailer park supervisor of the year, nice to meet ya
Always informative as fuck and a fun channel to watch. Looking forward to the next. Do these mids sit higher and further back compared to the stock mids that come on the m8?
Wouldn’t happen to be holding on to the stock forward controls anymore?
Just put this shit on my 2021 sport glide and they kick ass! Your video helped out tremendously!
Hell yeah good to hear🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Hi wonder if this can go on 117 breakout?
Best sound effects in the game right now rababababa
Hell yeah I definitely have something coming for that :-)
Hey man, do you get better leaning angle with these?
Are they the same mids that are on the fxbb?
Please GOD tell me this kit is available and will work on my 19 Softail Slim? I’ll do the bigger brake/clutch pedal and probably go with mini boards too!! This would be sick?
It is available call the shop Trent can get you set up.
Some nice work sir. I was curious have you ever done exstended forward controls on a 2019 fxdr114?
That’s not something we would do here, but I’m sure they’re is a ton of ppl out there doin it.
Can you just swap a fat bob subframe or tail section or w.e onto your softail so you get that seating position? Or do you think the mida may do alot for ya on your bike?
You could definitely switch out sub frames and have a better seating position but then you would have that short fender so I don’t know what to do about that
@@kruesioriginals yea that short fender needa to go 🚶
QUALITY VIDS!!!
I think the spacer is cause Harley changed the primary in 2019 to a narrow design, also I'm not sure if the wide tire softails have a different primary, I know u can't interchange compensators between models but IDK why that is
The Lowrider and street Bob definitely have different primaries. I believe you are right about the spacer but I have an 18 Lowrider with the big primary and it fits without the spacer so I would say fuck that spacer
Dope !!
Did this kit require the inner and outer primary replacement? The instructions say so but I didn't see it in the video. I have an '18 a Fat Bob that has the fatter primary is why I ask. Would love to do this kit on my bike.
Pretty sure we go over all that in the video. It bolts no inner outer primary modification or removal
Does this kit bring back the “stock mid controls” on a street bob? Or is it’s just to put miss on the fat bob?
It only brings them back about a quarter of an inch but it brings them up almost 2 inches
So much material on the brake side. You’d think H-D would come up with a sleeker way to make a mid position foot mount and brake pedal function.
Genius product!!!
Is there a kit for 103 softail??
Can that mid control set fit on an M8 Fat Bob with a stock exhaust?
Yes sir
Are they really that much further back than the mids on a lowrider? I just used some ebay lowrider take off mid controls, low profile primary cover for a lowrider, drilled the plug on the inner primary out and changed the brake master bracket to the mid control one. Best change ive made to the bike followed by a cam. What cam do you recomend for the 114 m8 engines? Im thinking of changing it again.
You’re good with that they don’t come back much farther they’re just up higher there about 2 inches higher for more ground clearance. I would stick with what you have
Will this work on a 2009 FatBob FXDF
Hey Mr. K, can you compare the STOCK mids to the NEW mids?
I bought a take off set of mids intended to swap into my FatBob 114, the primary case is what stopped me from completing the swap. Thanks!
We covered just about everything in the video, what more would you like me to compare?
Love the vids. Just bought a new fatbob and deciding on mods. Cpl questions please. 1) Since the shift shaft goes around the primary, and not through it, does that push your left foot out further?
And 2) does this set-up reduce the lean angle compared to the forward controls?
Have back issues and I think mids would help.
Shifter is in the same place just up a little higher because these controls are up a little higher than stock mids. Anything has more lean Angle going forward controls, and most definitely better on your back
Did you get a set T Roy JK?
I'd like a set on my FXDR. May make the bars less uncomfortable.
What exhaust is that? TBR?
Ya man
What’s the best way to get a service manual for your Harley ? Our dealership won’t sell them where I’m at .
That’s lame. There’s some dealerships you can order them online from.
recently bought a '19 FXBB with forward controls, saving up for mids, I'm 5'8. If these are further back as to stock ones sounds like a better option ? and looks like I don't need to open my primary this way ? Anyones advice welcome ! loving the channel!
They are not much farther back but they are almost 2 inches higher which is nice. And you do not have to open the primary
@@kruesioriginals sweet!! Appreciate the reply!! Found the serial code for it. Thanks again! Stay fast
What is the difference between these and OEM mids? I have the OEM on my fat Bob and dig it. Are these higher or farther back?
These are only back about a quarter inch but they are almost 2 inches higher
Where can i get this kit for 1998 softail ?
Trailor park boys for the win 😂
Do these mids put them in the same position as what comes on the m8 Low Rider S, or further back? Looks killer!
They are only about a quarter inch further back. But they are almost 2 inches higher more ground clearance
@@kruesioriginals nice. They’re only designed for shift shaft that doesn’t go through the primary right? Or does it work on the style that goes through also?
Great content guys loving it Ryan 🤙so will this fit a 2020 fxbb and is it worth it I have two brothers turn out
Thanks for all the content keep it up 🔥🔥🤙🤙
Yes it will definitely fit all the way around will clear that pipe a lot better than the stock stuff
@@kruesioriginals thanks for the info guys and do you think it’s a huge difference would I notice compared to the stock mids that comes on the fxbb
Kruesi channel is the realest out right now 🔥
@@STAYHUMBLE302 It only brings you back about a quarter of an inch. But it raises your feet almost 2 inches it gives you more ground clearance I really like it personally but if you already have mids I don’t know if it would be worth spending the money
@@kruesioriginals thanks man for looking out and always keeping it real loving the channel man 🔥🔥 thanks for all the help and advice
Would you recommend these over the speed merchant mids?
It all depends on what you were trying to do. These are a straight bolt up kit, the speed merchant you will have to build custom exhaust
Is there a part number for this mid control kit, I cant seem to find them at all.
There isn’t it’s an aftermarket Harley Davidson part if that makes sense. If you call the shop Trent can get you fixed up
Excellent video and channel Mr. K! (new to channel) I just got a 21 Fat Bob and love it....except for the foot position at highway speeds. I'm 5'11, 30" inseam and my legs are being constantly forced apart by the wind. Very uncomfortable for sure. With these being only .25" further back and 2" higher....do you feel this will amplify this effect at highway speeds or does it help alleviate it?
Also.....how bad is the brake lever? Is there a cheap fix? I dropped a grand and ordered them last night after watching your video. Then this morning....I decided to ask these questions (bass ackwards)! Your comments are greatly appreciated and if the difference is not worth a grand....I still have time to cancel the order. Thanks Mr. K.....Gene :)
Their .25 further back from stock made controls there about 10 inches back from your forward controls. There very high quality
@@kruesioriginals OOOOHhhhhh! LOL! That's a big difference! I really appreciate your quick reply and clarification! Thank you again for the info and for your Veteran appreciation ...USMC and USAF here.....God Bless Y'all....Gene:)
@@MrSolidman48 Anytime, thank you for your service, we appreciate that!!
@@kruesioriginals It was my Honor Brother...thank you guys so much and ride safe:)
Is that fit on 2014 breakout? to reduce my reach, thankss
No it’s For M8 Softail
Big dirty thumbs up!
Looking at a booster brad kit for my 02 Train, reasonable pricing, almost pulled trigger, just need to do a little more research. These softails should have at least had an OEM option for mids but it’s happening lol. Looks killer Ryan and the t shirt is pretty dope.
I can’t find these on your website. I’m interested to buy them for my 2018 fat Bob. Would you send me a link pls.
You have to call the shop to get these guys. We’re open Tuesday through Friday talked to Trent he will get you dialed
Where can I get that kit??
Ok, but I want forward controls on my M8 Heritage 114 - what are we going to do about that?
Same frame....
@@CaseyGR. Are you asking or stating?
Effin sweet
Gennooooooo
Will it fit on Heritage’18?
Yes should fit all softails depending on your exhaust
Sit on it BuckO!
So is that the kit that harley sells now? And curious is that the two brothers exhaust as well?
Yes and yes
@@kruesioriginals thanks man!
How far back is this kit compared to the current mids on M8? Thanks.
It’s only about a quarter of an inch back but about 2 inches higher
@@kruesioriginals Thanks a lot Ryan.
@@kruesioriginals the mids on the FXLRS put my knees higher than yours I wonder if it would bring them down.
I know. An actual good channel. Fuck yea

Throwing a new clutch in my sporty... any tips
Not trying to be a smart ass but a FACTORY service manual is your best friend. If not, UA-cam videos but we don't know what year your XL is. If you're like my pitbull don't stand in front of me, after you eat your broccoli.
@@t.s.racing just looking for general tips from an experienced mechanic... i know what has to be done but people who do these type of things all the time generally learn tips and tricks along the way
Check out Hammer Performance's youtube. They got a video tutorial.
You need a clutch spring compressor. And service service manual, if you do not have a service manual stop working on your motorcycle.
That fuckin bubbles impression😂
Hi, have you got the part number please, as I need to order here in the UK, thank you.
I do not have the number but they are in the Harley Davidson PNA catalog online
@@kruesioriginals thank you for that, here in UK they are just over £1,000, that’s a lot for a change, I do want them, I’ve just got to get my head round the price. Keep up the Sterling work Sir.
can you guys fix the camera lol i love the content
We’re working on it we got new parts come in it’s our bullshit card reader
Keep up the good content man I love how that fat bob is coming out it’s looking sick !!!! BTW are you guys gona keep the rectangle headlight or make a conversion to dyna style round headlight?
We’re keeping it we have a fitted Memphis shades faring forward it looks pretty good
Great video guys!!! I was wondering are you able to lean more or less once you changed to mid controls. I keep thinking that mid-controls will scrape more in turns. What are your thoughts and experience with that? I have a V&H upsweep on my fat Bob 114.
You will always be able to lean more in turns with mid controls. These are also 2 inches higher than stock.
Worth the 1200$ plus labor?
Yes beats having to buy an inner and outer primary. It would cost twice as much that way
Is there a mid control kit for v rod or night rod?
There used to be they don’t think anybody’s making stuff for those anymore
Roland sands used to make a kit
will the kit fits a Heritage 114?
Yes sir

The mid control kit will fit the heritage?
🔥🔥🔥 I have been DYING WAITING for someone to do an install/review on these! My dealership didn't have a clue... Are these the "Original Equipment" version (PN 50501988/50502090) or the "Accessory" version (PN50502040
/50502041). I also have a TBR exhaust and was hoping to save $500 with the original equipment version.
TBR will not clear any original mid controls. These are aftermarket PNA.

Your video kick ass I can’t find mid control for my fat Bob 2014 the reservoirs is in the back if you could help me out I greatly appreciate it thank you

Does anyone build mid controls for older softail fat boy?
Oh shit son, you got 4k quality now huh seems like there is still some stuttering but not as bad

@@charliepoodle5151 thanks a lot!
Man you got the right about goofy bars and forward controls feeling like your hanging off the back lol
What’s your opinion of the Indian Scout?
Saw one on UA-cam with a pipe and a tune going 10.75s in the 1/4. It’s a victory octane pretty much and making 100whp+ Tony Stunts has them pulling wheelies. Took one out on a Demo and I was doing first gear rolling burnouts and drifts( Dont tell the demo guide lol)
I did the math and if I build a Dyna the amount of money invested means I can just get a Fatbob and throw mids on it and bars and just do a cam later with a pipe and make a lot of power?
Found some 4,000 99-2001 Dynas locally
What would be the move if you were gonna get a bike you can do everything on?
Is a 4k Dyna with bars, mids, and some mods the way to go?
Well I would never buy an Indian at all I think they are hideous. They do make a lot of power and come with some good stuff from factory but other than that they suck. Early model dyna all day long.
PM /Rowland Sands done a mid mount conversion kit back in 05 but sadly a PM open primary drive was required which in total cost about 6k yes 6k for the whole kit why Harley never addressed this issue is a joke typical take your money and run policy..
