    This is a good video, when I was In School for small engines my instructor had us hone our cylinders and get them as clean as we possibly could , then he would take a white rag with a little bit of transmission fluid and wipe the cylinder out again, the white rag would come out black. His explanation was that transmission fluid would pull the dirt out of the crosshatch, he would put some transmission fluid in the parts washer as well .

      Those cams like 9.7:1 and they run great, I ran them in a 2002 Train stage 4 95" 100/100 build but with your compression you're leaving some on the table. I would recommend a set of Wood TW6, they come on harder, sooner and run out to Redline. S&S 510's come on like a turbo, slight lag under 2800, then pull hard all the way up. TW6 come on like a big block, 2600 smack you in the face and pull all the way up even harder. They are a little tickier but it's a healthy tic and I love the sound of it. Just my opinion, some won't agree, just speaking from my experience and it's easy spending other peopl'es money lol.

    • @kweitmann6913
      @kweitmann6913 2 роки тому +2

      Agreed on the cams being a little “small”. Unfortunately at the time when I did the cams, I was specifically looking for gear drive and S&S only offered a .510 lift….so it was for a lack of options. However, am really happy with how they do perform and yes, she is a torque monster.
