I think Jews for the most part don't think about Noahides. They generally see the world as divided between Jews and non-Jews and are only dimly aware that there are non-Jews who believe in and practice the Torah. However those that are consciously aware of the existence of Noahides are generally very excited about it. At least, those are my impressions.
@Iyas kelu Good question, and I'll try to answer how I understand it on one foot. Most people ask the question of whether God is fair to the _Gentiles?_ According to the Ramchal (Rabbi Moshe Chayim Luzzatto) and our tradition, God initially intended for humanity not to be categorized into two groups (Jews and non-Jews) and for all humanity to receive the (613 commandments of) the Torah. After Adam and Eve ate from the fruit, humanity experienced a decline in spiritual greatness that necessitated focusing the original objective of humanity into one smaller group of people. That group could have been anyone, but only Abraham heeded the call, so he and his offspring were developed into a nation that received the Torah. The non-Jews were not cut out of their role and were called to observe the 7 commandments associated with Noah. They are allowed to convert, it is considered praiseworthy, but they don't have to.
@Iyas kelu Oh yes He is more then fair to the Jews. You should understand that the mandate to be Jewish includes of course the 613 mitzvot. Those are not mere laws to abide to. They are 613 opportunities for the Jews to cling to Hashem. The Jewish person who has the real Torah outlook will not be looking at the laws as impediments to a freer life. No, the polar opposite! The very essence of the "everything" has given the Jews more opportunities to come closer and closer to His essence. (so to speak). Now, for those who say that that is not honest to non-Jewish should know that almost everybody should be able to become Jewish, as long as he understands and hallmarks this very point. Because with more opportunity also comes more responsibility.
@Iyas Kelu REALLY?! So on what basis was Noah's generation deemed wicked, as well as Sodom and Gemorrah? EVERYONE knew about the Noahide Laws! Stop writing propaganda about the "Rabbis making things up!" Such utter RUBBISH!
That is because you do not understand their purpose. Learn about them and why they want a one world religion. Revelation warns of the antichrist one world religion.
@@elsablue3646 A one world “religion” will take place no matter what you may think it may or may not be. Zephaniah 3:9 “For then I will restore to the peoples a pure language, that they all may call on the name of Adonai, to serve Him with one accord.” The one world “religion” in which you have believed through the Christian doctrine is only used by men in order to manipulate and spread fear through the human powers that be throughout the nations. A temporary power that will be crushed by the God of Israel. Man has always tried to mimic God and His Might. Knowing the difference is key.
I am ecstatic over Noahides! I think it is the coolest and most amazing thing one could do! It demonstrates creative, dynamic and individualistic thinking and living. Considering the social pressure Noahides deal with, one wonders if it is more difficult being Jewish or being a Noahide. It is truly a beautiful thing!
@@dianegee8954 What gives you that idea? Sure, most Noahides don't live near others who share their faith and therefore can't talk face to face with other Noahides, but that doesn't mean Noahides can't communicate via other means. A Noahide may also live close to a Synagogue, meaning they can attend Jewish services and talk with Jews, Rabbi and perhaps even other Noahides.

My journey to the truth led me on a path of weeds, back alleys, thorns and stickers. I came out onto a four lane highway of truth that Jews know well. My decision to be a Noahide is of deep devotion and commitment. In central Ohio I am surrounded by desert and completely alone. To a degree I share the pain of loneliness and rejection. One day soon others will want to hear of this path. Hashem is leading many and dragging the rest. His hook is in their jaws and one day they will all know the truth. May that day come quickly.
So happy to see how much love they have for their future servants under the rule of their messiah. Does It sound like fun to you, goi? Your new Jewish bosses are telling you how wonderful it will be to be Tovia's butler.
Those who keep and practice the Noachide Laws has given a chance of repentance or Teshuva and know more deeply the importance of righteuosness and to practice it with thier Torah because Hashem says so.From Philippines
I am a 58 year old mother and grandmother who is a Christian. I ask this question with the most respect for those of the Jewish faith. I want to honor God to the best of my ability and to do so I feel it is important to learn and observe certain Jewish traditions. My husband in the beginning of our marriage started backing away from his faith. I believe the husband is to be the spiritual leader of the home but where he was not living a godly life and quit going to church most of the time I tried to take our children to church and teach them about God. He certainly does not feel convicted as I do about learning and following Jewish holidays and practices. I live in a rural southern area in Tennessee so I have no idea where to ask my questions other than online. With all that being said what is the best way for me to learn … especially about Shabbat? Our children are all gone from home now so it would just be me observing Shabbat. I know that the Jews are God’s chosen people. I just feel in my heart that learning and practicing certain aspects would be a way for me to honor God and show my obedience to Him and my love for Him. I appreciate any suggestions. Thank you
I know how you feel. You and I are the same age and I was a christian. I was raised that way. Now I’m a Noahide and my wife is too. Here is my advice to you, offered in love and friendship. Don’t worry about Jewish customs and rituals. Most of them aren’t for us. (Though they are beautiful, aren’t they?) Forget about those for now, you need answers. Concentrate on what will help you right now. Torah. What is that? It’s a lot more than what’s taught in churches, I assure you. Torah is a love covenant. It’s a ketubah! What does that mean? Start digging into the Jewish bible. Try to figure out what I’m saying here. When you do, you’ll fall so madly in love with HaShem it’ll drive you nuts. Start reading the Jewish bible. Don’t do it the way christians do, do it right. Slow down. I’ll explain what I’m saying. Read Ezekiel chapter 18. All of it. Think about it. Then read it again. Chew on it. Do it again tomorrow. And the next day. Now, you may ask, but you said read the Torah? Ain’t Ezekiel one of the prophets? And you would be right. Here’s the beauty. HaShem gave us the prophets to teach us. What is Ezekiel 18? A deeper lesson on Deuteronomy 24:16. Slow down. Think about what you’re doing. Think. There is an all powerful, almighty, never ending, infinite power that created everything. And He sent you a message. Do you care? Do you care enough to slow down and actually try to truly understand what He is saying? I know you do. That’s why you’re here. This is what helped me. I used to read the Shema every morning when I got up and every night when i went to bed. What happened? I don’t need to read it anymore 😂. I know it by heart. But that isn’t the point. The answer is that I read it so many times that I actually UNDERSTOOD it. I get it. And it made me see Jews and Judaism in a whole new way. You’ll get it. You’ll see. Just slow down and remember one thing. This ain’t some dime store romance novel we’re talking about here. It’s the greatest love story ever told. Look for that. Try to see it. It’s there and HaShem wants you to find it. Baruch HaShem
As a Noahide since 2013, I would recommend you find an Orthodox Rabbi to answer your questions. The advice I give to you is this: What you "feel in your heart" is not always a correct choice in life (especially when attempting to observe Shabbat). This practice is intended for Jews exclusively. It's NOT what you feel or think that's important but what G-D requires of you. I understand how you feel, but in this case, (as with the Jewish holidays and ritual practices), you need to put your "feelings" aside.
Gods chosen people are those that believe in Jesus Christ through the gift of faith given by God the Father. You are asking people who reject Jesus Christ how to worship the God they reject. The Bible says that they who reject the Son, reject the Father and shall never enter His kingdom. You are asking the serpent how to worship his scaly skin.
You are very right. But sometimes it occurs, and there are some groups who are in reality christian but say they are Noahide to get an open door in Jewish world to evangelize. That is very confusing as you can imagine. Thanks for comment!

I saw a post on Reddit in the Judaism subreddit about wether Israel should be bound to instantiate and enforce the Noahide laws and all the answers (putting aside the question of wether Israel should be a theocracy or not) were like “um, no those laws are for Gentiles, not us.” Excuse me??? Are we *all* descendants of Noah or not? So, I’m a little aggravated with that. Tbf that’s still reddit I was dealing with, though 😂
Don't trust reddit. I recognize the subreddit you're talking about. They have a lot of people who have a lot of different and contrasting opinions on Judaism, and don't even want to make it work and combine with brotherhood.
They were correct. According to halakha (Jewish Law), there are two sets of laws in the Torah; one law for Jews, one for non-Jews. Unfortunately, most people here do not understand what halakha is.
Noahide law is required for all residents in the land of Israel. Not only is Israel bound to instantiate the laws, every nation in the entire world is bound to instiantiate tha lawa
Torah is what is supposed to go out from Zion, not Noahides Laws. Torah is a gift from the Father. Learn Torah my brothers!!! Accept nothing less from yourself and receive the Blessing from Heaven!!!
Gentiles also joined the ancient nation of Israel as 'resident aliens who lived within the city gates and also there were foreigners who did "hire for work" for the israelites. They were respected and welcome in Israel. Yes, resident aliens had to obey the laws of the land and treated as any native born israelites if they will break any of the laws , statutes and decrees of the king of Israel. They will be put to death like any israelites. Likewise , when the messiah comes , all righteous gentiles must obey the laws of God in the kingdom and obey the covenant as well. Israel will play the roles God has given us as his firstborn son to fulfill all promises , oaths, and covenants that God made with our ancestors. BUT, gentiles, as part of the divine plan , they can be part of the commonwealth of Israel either NOW or in the Messianic age. It's either you are in or out but not in between or be wishy washy. lol or lukewarm as many say.
In Olam Hazeh and Olam Haba, Noahides from each nation will always maintain the traditions of their own culture, such as language, festivals, symbols, arts, customs, and values, and God will never punish them for that because He blessed each nation outside of Israel with their own culture (Deuteronomy 32:8).
How can values be included in that..if a cultures values include freedom and Noachide must according to what I have been informed follow any instruction give by Jews or Rabbis.which includes being a slave if ordered to be one? And that most Noachid if not all will be ordered to slavery...So how can both be true..either one is and the other is not?@@rabbialmodovar7231
What has happened in Indonesia could happen in the city of Pune in the state of Maharashtra, India? We are Gentiles and we have been worshipping HaShem for 2-3 generations but under Christianity and now we have understood that there's only one God and that's the God of Israel. There's no Trinity as such. But we can't abandon the Christian community because here in India we don't have such a Noahide community as such in Indonesia. So I would like to request Rabbi Tovia Singer to do something for us. Shalom 🙏
Rabbi, I have a question - Regarding converts who revert to their original Abrahamic faith and/or born Jews who leave the faith, I’ve heard it said that they are, for all intents and purposes, considered gentiles once again. If such a person still follows the Noahide laws, does that matter? Would they still be considered a righteous gentile for continuing to follow the Noahide laws, or is that insignificant due to their apostasy? Even if they “left” the faith, but continued to defend and support the Jewish people, what would their status be? How does G-d view that?
Please !, tell me the name of that memorial wall/monument (of Jews killed in concentration camps) shown at the beginning of the video, and where is it located ?!
The “Noah” of the Noachide (“Noahide”) laws is NOT the Biblical Noah, whom the Talmud despises. The Talmud is wrong to denigrate Noah. And it gets worse. The rabbinic Midrash declares that no good was found in Noah (Midrash Rabbah: Genesis I [Soncino 1983, vol. 1], p. 289.). This Midrash also teaches that Noah was an alcoholic (drunkard) who was castrated when he was on his way to have coitus (Ibid., pp. 290-291; 293). Where is this detraction of Noah found in the Bible? In the Bible, Noah is a second Adam. One Talmudic libel of Noah centers on the malicious fantasy that the patriarch was sodomized on board the ark by Ham. This is not in God’s Biblical Word. It was made up out of whole cloth by the Midrash (the Gemara meanwhile equivocates between asserting Ham sodomized Noah and Ham castrating him; cf. Sanhderin 70a). Former Christians better come out of this sub-sewer nonsense.
So Yeshua didn't know what he was talking about, saying it was Moshe that brought the law. And those people are more HOLY, and know better than him.. King Ragnar Yahuwah
It's a little confusing what terminology everybody is subscribed to. Does 'Jew' mean one who got free, knows there is a heaven, and that God removed what personal matters we had internalized in our heart?
The Lubavitch Rebbe of Chanad started the Noachide movement in 1980s . Only to be mocked by many other Orthodox Jews. Now they seem to have accepted such as per halakic law. Righteous gentiles are blessed. תודה רבה שלום
Where do you get the 7 Noahide laws from? According to the book the covenant with Noah does not mention them except for not shedding human blood and eating flesh with "life-blood" in it. There is no mentioning about the other parts here. There is no mention of a court nothing. And the only law which has a punishment mentioned to it is: Shedding human blood. The rest has no punishment assiciated with it. There are even other laws in there such as: Be fertile. Here are these 7 laws: 1. Not to worship idols. 2. Not to curse God. 3. Not to commit murder. 4. Not to commit adultery or sexual immorality. 5. Not to steal. 6. Not to eat flesh torn from a living animal. 7. To establish courts of justice. Genesis 8:20-22, sefaria "Then Noah built an altar to יהוה and, taking of every pure animal and of every pure bird, he offered burnt offerings on the altar. יהוה smelled the pleasing odor, and יהוה resolved: “Never again will I doom the earth because of humankind, since the devisings of the human mind are evil from youth; nor will I ever again destroy every living being, as I have done. So long as the earth endures, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Summer and winter, Day and night Shall not cease.” " Genesis 9:1-17, sefaria "God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them, “Be fertile and increase, and fill the earth. The fear and the dread of you shall be upon all the beasts of the earth and upon all the birds of the sky-everything with which the earth is astir-and upon all the fish of the sea; they are given into your hand. Every creature that lives shall be yours to eat; as with the green grasses, I give you all these. You must not, however, eat flesh with its life-blood in it. But for your own life-blood I will require a reckoning: I will require it of every beast; of humankind, too, will I require a reckoning for human life, of everyone for each other! Whoever sheds human blood, By human [hands] shall that one’s blood be shed; For in the image of God Was humankind made. Be fertile, then, and increase; abound on the earth and increase on it.” And God said to Noah and to his sons with him, “I now establish My covenant with you and your offspring to come, and with every living thing that is with you-birds, cattle, and every wild beast as well-all that have come out of the ark, every living thing on earth. I will maintain My covenant with you: never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of a flood, and never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth.” God further said, “This is the sign that I set for the covenant between Me and you, and every living creature with you, for all ages to come. I have set My bow in the clouds, and it shall serve as a sign of the covenant between Me and the earth. When I bring clouds over the earth, and the bow appears in the clouds, I will remember My covenant between Me and you and every living creature among all flesh, so that the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh. When the bow is in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures, all flesh that is on earth. That,” God said to Noah, “shall be the sign of the covenant that I have established between Me and all flesh that is on earth.” " So where do you get the other laws from? They are not mentioned.
If noahide is merely a process of conversion to a specific sect of Neo-Judaism, or a status for people who are attracted to this specific sect, but still aren't sure about the conversion itself, this would be understandable, but if noahide is a status for people who are certain about their conversion, while being too lazy to fully participate in the religion itself, because they prefere the gentile ways over God's way, and they're still recognized as members of the religion, this only shows the absurdity of this specific sect, and even more so in case of those noahides who associate with such a sect.
He does not know how to describe the difference between Chochmei Umot HaOlam and Hasidei Umot haOlam in a clear and accurate way according to Judaism. This is yet more evidence that Singer is a typical Karaitized modern Conservadox not a legitimate student of Orthodox Judaism.
Noahides cannot be called righteous if they only follow 7 laws! YHWH said keep all His commandments not just 7. How can we be righteous if we eat abominable unclean things, desecrate the Sabbath and ignores YHWH's feasts?
The Laws of Moses are for the Jewish people ONLY. Everyone else on the planet is called to be an ethical monotheist (no trinity, no Jesus) and to follow the seven Noahide laws. See the first few books of Genesis.
Do you understand the arrogance underlying your question? I don’t mean to hurt you but the whole question is off. Yes we can show you. But what’s with the tone?
I always love hearing how special Jews are. One of the natural qualities of an infinitely loving creator is always favoritism. Makes you wonder how anyone could ever be annoyed with the idea that God prefers a particular group of people. And God seems to particularly love arrogant self righteous people.
The holocaust was favoritism? That's like a parent having a favorite child. Parents love each of their children differently, but not unequally. Think of it like jews are the oldest child. We believe we're supposed to set an example. Sometimes we succeed, sometimes we don't.
The Torah which is Hashem's word always talks about one Torah for the jew and for the gentile Exodus 12 - 48 -49 It has never spoken about nohadic laws for gentiles .kindly quote a scripture in Tanak which says so .
Five of the Noahide Commandments are explicitly found in different verses in the Book of Genesis. One is found in Leviticus. The remaining one (and in fact all of them) can be inferred from a single verse in Genesis. [1] 1. Do Not Worship a False Deity Genesis 2:16 states: “And L-rd G-d commanded to the man, saying…” This Divine command to Adam implies that only the One True G-d, the Creator of the spiritual and physical realms, should be obeyed and honored as the Deity, and the greatest honor is to serve and worship Him. Thus, one should serve and worship only the One True G-d, and not any idol. [1] 2. Do Not Curse G-d’s Name Leviticus 24:10-17 relates the incident of a Jew who violated the injunction of Exodus 22:27 and blasphemed in anger. Moreover, Leviticus 24:15 in Hebrew states: “ish ish (‘any man’) who curses his G-d shall bear his sin.” Why the double expression of “ish ish” (which literally means “a man, a man”)? It means to include all mankind, both Jews and Gentiles. This teaches that it is prohibited for Gentiles as well to curse G-d’s Name (G-d forbid!). [2] 3. Do Not Commit Murder or Injury The edict against murder, and the punishment for this transgression, is stated in Genesis 9:5-6: “…of man for his brother, I [G-d] will demand the soul of man. Whoever sheds the blood of man, among man, his blood shall be shed; for in the image of G-d He made man.” 4. Do Not Have Forbidden Sexual Relations Five of the six types of intercourse relations that are forbidden by G-d to Gentiles are covered in Genesis 2:24: “Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and cling to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.” This verse explicitly forbids relations of a man with (1) his mother, with a woman who has ever been his father’s domestic partner or certified wife, with a woman who is currently a domestic partner or certified wife of another man, with another male, or with an animal. A Gentile is also forbidden to have relations with his maternal sister, which is learned from Gen. 20:12: “Moreover, she is indeed my sister, my father’s daughter, though not my mother’s daughter; and she became my wife.” (Note that Abraham said this to appease Abimelech. It was actually only figuratively true in his case, since Sarah was the daughter of Abraham’s brother. So they had the same paternal grandfather, and the children of one’s children are like one’s own children.) It also was universally accepted that father-daughter relations would be included, as evidenced by the disgrace of Lot after he had relations with his two daughters, following G-d’s destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah (Gen. 19:29-36, and Rashi’s explanation of Gen. 20:1). In addition to the abomination to G-d of relations of a male with a male, relations of a female with a female are likewise an abomination to G-d, which is learned from the fact that they are both included in the subjects of the verse Lev. 18:3, which speaks against the immoral practices of the ancient Egyptians and Canaanites, and which Lev.18:30 refers to as “abominable traditions.” The Midrash (Sifra) specifically names these abominations: “A man would marry a man, a woman would marry a woman, and a woman would be married to two men.” 5. Do Not Commit Theft The prohibition of theft is contained within the permission which G-d granted to Adam and Hava (Eve) in Genesis 2:16 to eat from the trees of the garden. This implies that if the permission had not been granted, they would have been forbidden to do so, because the property did not belong to them. This applied specifically to the fruit of the Tree of “Knowledge of Good and Evil” which was forbidden for them to take, under penalty of death (Genesis 2:17). This Noahide commandment was cited explicitly by Abraham in Genesis 21:25. 6. Don’t Eat Meat that was Taken from a Live Animal Adam and Hava (Eve) were not given permission to kill animals for food, and this remained in effect until after the Flood. G-d permitted the eating of meat for the first time to Noah and his family after they left the Ark, which is why G-d at that time added the seventh commandment, which prohibits the eating of meat that was severed from a living animal (even if it was stunned and insensitive). This commandment given to Noah is recorded in Genesis 9:4: “But meat, with its soul [which is in] its blood you shall not eat.” 7. Establish Laws and Courts of Justice G-d commanded Noah regarding the trial and punishment of a murderer, as it says in Genesis 9:6, “Whoever sheds the blood of man, among man, his blood shall be shed…” This refers to a Noahide commandment to judge and penalize a murderer. This is explained as follows by the Talmudic Sages: “Whoever sheds the blood of man” (referring to the murderer), “among man” (i.e., he is to be prosecuted in a court by a man who is qualified to testify as a witness), “his blood shall be shed” (if convicted, he is liable to capital punishment by the court). The Noahide Code specifies that Gentile societies are obligated to abide by justice by establishing a system of righteous courts of law.
In Genesis you can distract the Noahide universal "statement-laws" with the last one that was given to Noah (ever min hachai). These laws were confirmed at Matan Torah (therefore we call them laws). Only the laws that existed before and were repeated at Matan Torah, are considered the 7 Noahide Laws.
There are no 7 laws of Noah found in the Torah. It is just Rabbies making things up. The covenant of Noah is found in Genesis 8:20-22 to Genesis 9:1-17. 7 Noah laws according to Jews: 1. Not to worship idols. 2. Not to curse God. 3. Not to commit murder. 4. Not to commit adultery or sexual immorality. 5. Not to steal. 6. Not to eat flesh torn from a living animal. 7. To establish courts of justice. "Laws" according to the Torah-Text: 1. Be fruitfull/fertile. (Genesis 9:1, 8) 2. Every creature that lives shall be food except flesh with "life-blood" in it. (Genesis 9:2-3) 3. Not shedding human blood and if you do it will be punished. (Genesis 9:6-7) And only "shedding of human blood" has a punishment refered to it by the way. @barrys.9040 (1) Genesis 2:16 is speaking about the tree. Nothing to do with what you wrote there. "And God יהוה commanded the Human, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you are free to eat; (Sefaria)" (2)Leviticus 24:10-17 that refers to Israelites and in their territory. This entire thing is literally about Israel and you may expand it to the sojourners and strangers in there. But not the nations. (3)To not commit murder can be found in the actually Noah covenant so that one is fine. (4) No it does not forbid sexual immorality. It just tells you to find a partner. There is literally no other indication and again it is not part of the covenant with Noah. (5) Again you making things up. It was a law to not eat from that tree it does not tell you not to steal at all. In short it is you interpreting. (6) Found in the actual covenant with Noah from the text so yes that one is fine. (7) No he does not say to create courts. He literally said HE HIMSELF with *"I"* will require a reckoning. Now it must be done by humans and he can not do it himself? Hmmm. --- Now let's go to something more interesting. If you think "implicit laws" exist then I give you one as well implied by the text. *"If a man is in danger or in perceived danger he may sellout his female family members to protect himself."* This can be backed by: Genesis 12:10-20 with Abraham "pimping" his wife out because of perceived danger and the OT deity punishing the pharaoh for it while Abraham obtained was allowed to take the riches from the pharaoh with him. Then it can be backed by: Genesis 19:4-8 in which Lot try to "pimp" out his daughters to the people because of the perceived danger of him and his guests. It can also be backed again: Genesis 20:1-7 here we go again Abraham "pimping" his wife this time to Abimelech. Did he get punished for it? Nope. Was fine. Here another one: Genesis 26:6-11 here we have Isaac following into his fathers footsteps into "pimping" his wife out or at least trying to do so. Then it can be backed up by: Judges 19:22-26 here we have a Levite "pimping" out his concubine while additionally trying to give his daugher as well. Well, the concubine was enough... It can also be backed by an explicit law: Exodus 21:7-8 here a man can sell his daughter. Why would he do that? Most likely because of financial problems so "financial danger".
I think its important to concentrate, each in our lanes, than try to imagine what the other thinks about the other. We got a lot to do before Messiah comes to Israel as i see the world around us.

A Noahide is a person found nowhere in scripture. He/she is a person found in the writings of a 12th century rabbi called Maimonaides (also affectionately called Rambam). Wikipedia has an extensive article about him. Defenders of noahidism, including R.Singer, equate the writings as being on a par with God's word, with the disastrous result of being guilty of attempting to add to the Bible. God does not suffer fools gladly concerning adding to his word, so my advice is to learn of the 7 laws so that you can give wise answers, but stay well clear of them.
Hashem did not make you responsible for 613 commandments. Hashem requires everyone to keep the eternal standards of holiness and justice. There is no covetousness in this. You have an opinion lacking in discernment. That is because you do not want to change. You prefer your fantasy traditions and grilled bratwursts. All under the guise of liberty and family. Pffft.
That statement does not make sense at all. "Two or more sets of ... laws for mankind." What would you describe the present situation of laws by nations as? You are terrified of TALMUD the same as you are terrified of hell and Sharia. You like your god because of its leniency. Why be terrified of hell?? You have a lenient god. Scary to give that god up because then you have to face yourself. Convert everyone to that, right?

This is such nonsense. Abraham was promised multitudes of descendents - not just Jews (according to the flesh) but spiritual children grafted on - all Catholics... The main point of the Jews in the Old Law was to produce the Messiah which they did - and Christ estsblished the perfected religion - the New Law - Catholicism. And all who join this Church and are Catholics in some way prior to death will be saved. God no longer favours one nation but through this one nation of the Jews now seeks the whole world. This Noaide thing is such nonsense. God gives Himself literally at Mass and we share in his divine life - why would anyone walk away from that for such paltry offerings for the Noaides? We are called to share the interior life of the divinity - not by some bad theology of a neshema but through baptism. Let those who have ears to hear - let him hear... dont be led astray by this man.
The difference between a Jew and a Judean is... The Jew comes from the children of Esau, and never lets you forget the holocaust. And the Judean come from the children of Jacob, was shipped all across the world partly on Jewish Ships. And have already forgiven the world, for they know not what they are doing. O.o
As a returning Ten Triber from the northern kingdom of Israel, I understand the Jews of Judah and their reserve toward us. Anyone familiar familiar with the New Testament story of the prodigal son will recognize the scenario of the older brother and his distrust of his prodigal brother. But we have come back to the Father, not to a religion but to the Heavenly Father, and we have the same status as the Jews who have been so faithful all of these years in retaining the Torah and suffering for it. We have not been without our suffering as well if you will look back in history and see all the world wars and wars where we lost many of our young men.

@@israelescobedo8028 Well, well let's take a look then. So Ezekiel 18:20-22, sefaria: "Only the person who sins shall die. A child shall not share the burden of a parent’s guilt, nor shall a parent share the burden of a child’s guilt; the righteousness of the righteous shall be accounted to them alone, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be accounted to them alone. Moreover, if someone wicked repents of all the sins that were committed and keeps all My laws and does what is just and right, they shall live; they shall not die. None of the transgressions they committed shall be remembered against them; because of the righteousness they have practiced, they shall live. " Hm nice and not just found in the Tanakh but also especially in the Torah: Deuteronomy 24:16 "Parents shall not be put to death for children, nor children be put to death for parents: they shall each be put to death only for their own crime. " Nice, nice so the child should not be punished for the crimes of the parent. ONLY the person who sins shall die. Let's see: 2 Samuel 12:11-19 "Thus said the LORD: ‘I will make a calamity rise against you from within your own house; I will take your wives and give them to another man before your very eyes and he shall sleep with your wives under this very sun. You acted in secret, but I will make this happen in the sight of all Israel and in broad daylight.’” David said to Nathan, “I stand guilty before the LORD!” And Nathan replied to David, “The LORD has remitted your sin; you shall not die. However, since you have spurned the enemies of-a the LORD by this deed, even the child about to be born to you shall die.” Nathan went home, and the LORD afflicted the child that Uriah’s wife had borne to David, and it became critically ill. David entreated God for the boy; David fasted, and he went in and spent the night lying on the ground. The senior servants of his household tried to induce him to get up from the ground; but he refused, nor would he partake of food with them. On the seventh day the child died. David’s servants were afraid to tell David that the child was dead; for they said, “We spoke to him when the child was alive and he wouldn’t listen to us; how can we tell him that the child is dead? He might do something terrible.” " Ups, here were the wives introduced into the "sin" of David and were punished for HIS (David's crimes) and even more interesting the CHILD was punished with DEATH. Why was it punished with death? What "SIN" did the child commit as a baby? Hm🤔 Right none. So why was it killed? As PUNISHMENT for the "crimes"/"sin" of his father David. Interesting if we consider Ezekiel 18:20-22 and Deuteronomy 24:16.
In christianity we follow the 10 commandments.Jesus said there are 2 and all the rest hang on these 2. To love the Lord your God with all your heart soul mind and strength and to love your neighbor as yourself. If you think about it it's TRUE. You will automatically fulfill all 10 by loving God and your neighbor. What He told us exceeds noahide laws. But I should add alone we cannot do it but with God's help by denying ourselves relying completely on His goodness we can do this. We are not righteous on our own only by His perfect love and sacrifice do we take on His righteousness all by grace lest any man boast. Its perfection.

@Iyas kelu The answer is too much to explain. Ask Rabbi Singer or a few of the other fine Orthodox Rabbis on youture who are not Messianic.
@Iyas Kelu

Thank you
Gentiles are obligated to keep the 7 Noahide commandments only.
Following the teaching of the teacher is important. Not Following the teacher.
How can Jews see Noahides as Christians ? It would be impossible (no?) for a Noahide to be Christian since idolatry is forbidden.
You are very right. But sometimes it occurs, and there are some groups who are in reality christian but say they are Noahide to get an open door in Jewish world to evangelize. That is very confusing as you can imagine. Thanks for comment!

Gentiles have no obligation to convert to Judaism.

Rabbi, I have a question -
Regarding converts who revert to their original Abrahamic faith and/or born Jews who leave the faith, I’ve heard it said that they are, for all intents and purposes, considered gentiles once again.

Thank you for this info. Good job!

Here are these 7 laws:
1. Not to worship idols.
2. Not to curse God.
3. Not to commit murder.
4. Not to commit adultery or sexual immorality.
5. Not to steal.
6. Not to eat flesh torn from a living animal.
7. To establish courts of justice.
Genesis 8:20-22, sefaria
"Then Noah built an altar to יהוה and, taking of every pure animal and of every pure bird, he offered burnt offerings on the altar.
יהוה smelled the pleasing odor, and יהוה resolved: “Never again will I doom the earth because of humankind, since the devisings of the human mind are evil from youth; nor will I ever again destroy every living being, as I have done.
So long as the earth endures,
Seedtime and harvest,
Cold and heat,
Summer and winter,
Day and night
Shall not cease.” "
Genesis 9:1-17, sefaria
"God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them, “Be fertile and increase, and fill the earth.
Whoever sheds human blood,
By human [hands] shall that one’s blood be shed;
For in the image of God
Was humankind made.
Be fertile, then, and increase; abound on the earth and increase on it.”
And God said to Noah and to his sons with him,
“I now establish My covenant with you and your offspring to come,
and with every living thing that is with you-birds, cattle, and every wild beast as well-all that have come out of the ark, every living thing on earth.
I will maintain My covenant with you: never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of a flood, and never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth.”
God further said, “This is the sign that I set for the covenant between Me and you, and every living creature with you, for all ages to come.
I have set My bow in the clouds, and it shall serve as a sign of the covenant between Me and the earth.
When I bring clouds over the earth, and the bow appears in the clouds,
I will remember My covenant between Me and you and every living creature among all flesh, so that the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh.
When the bow is in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures, all flesh that is on earth.
That,” God said to Noah, “shall be the sign of the covenant that I have established between Me and all flesh that is on earth.” "
So where do you get the other laws from?
Where did you get that from? He is a very knowledgeable ordained Orthodox Rabbi.
Sabbath observance was given to all mankind at creation not just jews. Show in tanakh where it says otherwise.

I always love hearing how special Jews are. One of the natural qualities of an infinitely loving creator is always favoritism. The holocaust was favoritism? That's like a parent having a favorite child. Parents love each of their children differently, but not unequally. Think of it like jews are the oldest child. We believe we're supposed to set an example. Sometimes we succeed, sometimes we don't.
@@nickbernstein The word holocaust means "burnt offering". I'm wondering why was such a word used? This literally implies a giant human sacrifice.

Thank you Rabbi Singer for sharing your knowledge with the world.
The Torah which is Hashem's word always talks about one Torah for the jew and for the gentile Exodus 12 - 48 -49
It has never spoken about nohadic laws for gentiles .kindly quote a scripture in Tanak which says so .
Five of the Noahide Commandments are explicitly found in different verses in the Book of Genesis. One is found in Leviticus. The remaining one (and in fact all of them) can be inferred from a single verse in Genesis. [1]
1. Do Not Worship a False Deity
Genesis 2:16 states: “And L-rd G-d commanded to the man, saying…” This Divine command to Adam implies that only the One True G-d, the Creator of the spiritual and physical realms, should be obeyed and honored as the Deity, and the greatest honor is to serve and worship Him. Thus, one should serve and worship only the One True G-d, and not any idol. [1]
2. Do Not Curse G-d’s Name
Leviticus 24:10-17 relates the incident of a Jew who violated the injunction of Exodus 22:27 and blasphemed in anger. [2]
3. Do Not Commit Murder or Injury
The edict against murder, and the punishment for this transgression, is stated in Genesis 9:5-6: “…of man for his brother, I [G-d] will demand the soul of man. Whoever sheds the blood of man, among man, his blood shall be shed; for in the image of G-d He made man.”
4. Do Not Have Forbidden Sexual Relations
Five of the six types of intercourse relations that are forbidden by G-d to Gentiles are covered in Genesis 2:24: “Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and cling to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.” This verse explicitly forbids relations of a man with (1) his mother, with a woman who has ever been his father’s domestic partner or certified wife, with a woman who is currently a domestic partner or certified wife of another man, with another male, or with an animal. So they had the same paternal grandfather, and the children of one’s children are like one’s own children.)
It also was universally accepted that father-daughter relations would be included, as evidenced by the disgrace of Lot after he had relations with his two daughters, following G-d’s destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah (Gen. 19:29-36, and Rashi’s explanation of Gen. 20:1). In addition to the abomination to G-d of relations of a male with a male, relations of a female with a female are likewise an abomination to G-d, which is learned from the fact that they are both included in the subjects of the verse Lev. 18:3, which speaks against the immoral practices of the ancient Egyptians and Canaanites, and which Lev.18:30 refers to as “abominable traditions.” The Midrash (Sifra) specifically names these abominations: “A man would marry a man, a woman would marry a woman, and a woman would be married to two men.”
5. Do Not Commit Theft
The prohibition of theft is contained within the permission which G-d granted to Adam and Hava (Eve) in Genesis 2:16 to eat from the trees of the garden.
6. Don’t Eat Meat that was Taken from a Live Animal
Adam and Hava (Eve) were not given permission to kill animals for food, and this remained in effect until after the Flood. G-d permitted the eating of meat for the first time to Noah and his family after they left the Ark, which is why G-d at that time added the seventh commandment, which prohibits the eating of meat that was severed from a living animal (even if it was stunned and insensitive). This commandment given to Noah is recorded in Genesis 9:4: “But meat, with its soul [which is in] its blood you shall not eat.”
7. Establish Laws and Courts of Justice
G-d commanded Noah regarding the trial and punishment of a murderer, as it says in Genesis 9:6, “Whoever sheds the blood of man, among man, his blood shall be shed…” This refers to a Noahide commandment to judge and penalize a murderer.
7 Noah laws according to Jews:
1. Not to worship idols.
2. Not to curse God.
3. Not to commit murder.
4. Not to commit adultery or sexual immorality.
5. Not to steal.
6. Not to eat flesh torn from a living animal.
7. To establish courts of justice.
"Laws" according to the Torah-Text:
1. Be fruitfull/fertile. (Genesis 9:1, 8)
2. Every creature that lives shall be food except flesh with "life-blood" in it. (Genesis 9:2-3)
3. Not shedding human blood and if you do it will be punished. (Genesis 9:6-7)
And only "shedding of human blood" has a punishment refered to it by the way.
@barrys.9040
(1) Genesis 2:16 is speaking about the tree. Nothing to do with what you wrote there.
"And God יהוה commanded the Human, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you are free to eat; (Sefaria)"
(2)Leviticus 24:10-17 that refers to Israelites and in their territory.
Hmmm.
---
Now let's go to something more interesting. If you think "implicit laws" exist then I give you one as well implied by the text.
*"If a man is in danger or in perceived danger he may sellout his female family members to protect himself."*
This can be backed by:
Genesis 12:10-20 with Abraham "pimping" his wife out because of perceived danger and the OT deity punishing the pharaoh for it while Abraham obtained was allowed to take the riches from the pharaoh with him.
Then it can be backed by:
Genesis 19:4-8 in which Lot try to "pimp" out his daughters to the people because of the perceived danger of him and his guests.
It can also be backed again:
Genesis 20:1-7 here we go again Abraham "pimping" his wife this time to Abimelech. Did he get punished for it? Nope. Was fine.
Here another one:
Genesis 26:6-11 here we have Isaac following into his fathers footsteps into "pimping" his wife out or at least trying to do so.
Then it can be backed up by:
Judges 19:22-26 here we have a Levite "pimping" out his concubine while additionally trying to give his daugher as well. Well, the concubine was enough...
It can also be backed by an explicit law:
Exodus 21:7-8 here a man can sell his daughter. Why would he do that? Most likely because of financial problems so "financial danger".
I think its important to concentrate, each in our lanes, than try to imagine what the other thinks about the other. We got a lot to do before Messiah comes to Israel as i see the world around us.

What is a noahide??
A Noahide is a person found nowhere in scripture. He/she is a person found in the writings of a 12th century rabbi called Maimonaides (also affectionately called Rambam). Wikipedia has an extensive article about him. Defenders of noahidism, including R.Singer, equate the writings as being on a par with God's word, with the disastrous result of being guilty of attempting to add to the Bible. God does not suffer fools gladly concerning adding to his word, so my advice is to learn of the 7 laws so that you can give wise answers, but stay well clear of them.

Well, well let's take a look then.
So Ezekiel 18:20-22, sefaria:
"Only the person who sins shall die.
Hm nice and not just found in the Tanakh but also especially in the Torah:
Deuteronomy 24:16
"Parents shall not be put to death for children, nor children be put to death for parents: they shall each be put to death only for their own crime. "
Nice, nice so the child should not be punished for the crimes of the parent. ONLY the person who sins shall die. Let's see:
2 Samuel 12:11-19
"Thus said the LORD: ‘I will make a calamity rise against you from within your own house; I will take your wives and give them to another man before your very eyes and he shall sleep with your wives under this very sun.
You acted in secret, but I will make this happen in the sight of all Israel and in broad daylight.’”
David said to Nathan, “I stand guilty before the LORD!” And Nathan replied to David, “The LORD has remitted your sin; you shall not die.
However, since you have spurned the enemies of-a the LORD by this deed, even the child about to be born to you shall die.”
Nathan went home, and the LORD afflicted the child that Uriah’s wife had borne to David, and it became critically ill.
He might do something terrible.” "
Ups, here were the wives introduced into the "sin" of David and were punished for HIS (David's crimes) and even more interesting the CHILD was punished with DEATH. Why was it punished with death? What "SIN" did the child commit as a baby? Hm🤔
Right none.
