      Funnily enough, George RR Martin found out that he is part Jewish. His grandmother was Catholic (English/Irish) and was married to an Italian. The grandmother got pregnant, and the husband left her. No one knew what happened. George assumed that he was English/Irish with some Italian. He did a DNA test and found out that he has 22.5% Jewish ancestry.
      The Italian guy went and had kids with another woman. They tested the DNA of the kids with George and found no relationship. Basically George's grandmother had an affair, her husband left her, and settled down with someone else.

      @Michael Houghton, you state "The proper path is Jesus"
      My response, this is a faith based statement and thus worthless. I could respond in kind and say the proper path is not jesus. Would that response speak to you in a personal manner? I assume it wouldn't. The same is true on my part. Saying the proper path is jesus means nothing.
      You state "God has no favourites one way, one truth,"
      My response, so now you're telling God that He is a liar when He said that the Israelites are the apple of His eye? Who are you to dictate to God if He has favorites or not? If I came into your house and said I demand your furniture because it is mine, what would your response be?
      You state "one Jesus the true messiah"
      My response, how in the world can you possibly make such an absurd claim? jesus the Messiah? How absurd. There is no Jew ever born in history who was less qualified to be the Messiah than jesus of the new test. Even my sister is more qualified than jesus to be the Messiah. Actually even my dead grandmother is more qualified.
      & if you don't believe me, just wait another 2,000 years and you will see I am right. My dead grandmother died for your sins. & one day she will come back in glory and every knee shall bow to her. & if you reject my grandmother you reject God. Sound familiar?
      Now tell me, why does jesus qualify as the Messiah more than my dead grandmother. & then prove your claim. This I want to see.

    • @meme-bd5hk
      @meme-bd5hk 5 років тому +10

      @Michael Houghton, any person who doesn't ask for a sign for a claim is a fool. God didn't make me to be a fool. Also, signs prove nothing if one's word does not align with God's.
      The story you say never happened and more importantly, it does not align with God's word. & the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is not your God. Your god is jesus. Tell me you deny jesus is God and then you can perhaps claim that the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob is your God as well. Otherwise all you follow is a Greek and Roman idol by a different name.

The fact is, the Quran has been proven to be historically false. Muhammad talks about Aaron being the husband of Elizabeth, Mary’s cousin, when in actual fact, it’s a completely different Mary from centuries earlier. This mistake proves that he didn’t really know what he was talking about and the fact he got it wrong, proves he was fabricating the story. According the Bart Ehrman, the biggest Christian sceptic in the scholarly community, “Nothing I have found takes away from the story of Jesus’s life as a man in the New Testament, and nothing will diminish the faith of Christians”. There you go, the NT is considered accurate in terms of what happened.

      Jesus is a motif based in astro-theology. He was never meant to be literal, but an allegorical tale for self and spiritual improvement. He is based on an old pagan motif of a suffering dying savior, just like Dionysus Bacchus. When the Jews were in constant rebellion, the Romans took the old pagan motif, mixed it with Jewish Messianic fervor, and presto, a Jewish god man messiah. The Romans did this to try and placate the Jews. Study the ancient writings. Learn to use your mind, to question, and to think. It's time we evolve.

      Becaue you loved being deceived and where is Israels earthly high priest today making atonement with the blood of animals? There isn't any because all that stopped when Jesus made the payment on the cross.
      The earthly high priest had to enter the tabernacle with a rope tied around his ankles incase God didn't accept the blood sacrifice. If God didn't accept then he would die immedialty and have to be pulled out by the rope.
      Why do you think these evil blinded rabbi's are trying to get the 3rd temple built for animal sacrifices? God is not with Israel today, they are defending the land with an man made army. They are once again surrounded by gentile nations who want their destruction. They have no atonement for sins, there is no earthly high priest but there is a heavenly high priest who entered once in to the holy place in heaven with his own blood to obatin salvation for his people and for all gentiles who would believe on him. Heb 9:12, Heb 10:10-14 KJV
      Tell me the last time you saw the nation of Israel slaughtering lambs, doves, ox and pigeons and an earthly high priest bringing the basins of blood into the sanctuary of the tabernacle for the covering of the sins of the people of the nation of Israel?

You heard his totally wrong "interpretation". I left 2 of them in a comment here from the Torah itself. Don't believe someone just because he seems to be intelligent. You can easily look up those texts and read them by yourself to see if they are clear or not. Don't take my word for it either. The Jewish people today" aren't responsible for uhm misreading the Messiah memo left by God. Their leadership failed them in many ways. Very human phenomena, we would've did it too. Just take a look at this sick world we live in

      It is false to say that the descendants of King David have no records. I personally met a rabbi who knew descendants to this day who have kept authentic records of their genealogy all up to king David.
      Before Titus destroyed the second temple, we learned in our history that Rabbi Yohanan ben Zakkai went to Vespisian asked that Gamliel= a member of the Sandhedrin and also a direct descendant of King David and Solomon be spared from the hands of the Romans and be relocated to Yavneh for safety. There they will be free to continue learning the TORAH. They have brought with them their records. Only the 2 most important tribes continue to preserve records of their lineages for a reason: the Levis and Yehudah.
      I personally know of Levis who traces their records up to 2000 years ago.
      We know that our Jewish Messiah will show his book of lineage to prove his father's lineage up to King David. This debunks yeshu's lineage where the NT said that his father is G-d who does not belong to any tribe, therefore proving that he is not the messiah. So Xtians....you have been wrong all along and quit missionizing Jews.

They didnt believe Elisha's report of Elijah leaving by chariot of fire. They hated Isaiah, Jeremiah, Hosea, and Joel. They didn't listen to Joshua by not taking possession of the land God gave them. They still are not doing this today. They wanted judges but didn't listen so then wanted kings but would still disobey. They do not believe the Torah for if they did the would see in genesis 1 vs 26 the Trinity. They deny the psalms particularly the 22nd and 110th. They forbid chapters of the Torah like Isa 53 while completely ignoring the 7th an 14th chapters of Isaiah. Daniel 3 tells of a Persian declaring what the Jews deny ever exist.

      @@Ilovemountains22 The word bible comes from the Greek word biblia which means books or library. The bible is not a book but collection of 66 books. 27 books in the new testament mentions the existence of Jesus which proves Jesus existed, and those books show the necessary and required proof that it was prophesied in the old testament (in all 39 books in the OT there is a evidence of Jesus being Messiah one way or another) that Jesus is the promised Messiah, God incarnate to save the world from its sins. Judaism isn't the only religion where it was written that God would send someone (Jesus) to take the sins of the world. Example, the ancient Hindus prophesied that God would send a man who would be born through a virgin and would die on wood (cross. There wasn't a word for cross at that time) for the sins of the world. Then who ever would believe in him would be given eternal life. You state "Lord Jesus Christ spoke the many events preceeding his second coming......... every prophises has come true including the increase in earthquakes."
      My response, what second coming? Where did he come a second time? See, that's the whole point. There never was a second coming despite the fact that he claimed he would come back during his own generation. You might want to read the book of Matthew chapter 24 with special emphasis on verse 24 of the chapter.
      The new test is nothing more than lies and failed prophecies and contradictions of the true word of God. (the Torah)
      You might want to actually study the Hebrew Scriptures in context and with a good translation such as that provided by ArtScroll publications & you will see for yourself how the new test writers twist the word of God for their own personal agenda.
      Tell me this. Why does the new test lie when quoting Isaiah chapter 7 (verse 14) and claim Isaiah spoke about a virgin birth when Isaiah never said such a thing? (look up a proper translation of the word Hebrew word 'almah' which is used there)
      Why does the new test say that out of Egypt I called My son as stated in the Book of Hosea chapter 11 (verse 1) is a reference to jesus when the verse is actually speaking about Israel? Ironically enough the next verse (verse 2) there says *the son* worshiped idols. So if this is really about jesus then it means that the new test is saying that jesus was an idol worshiper.
      Why does the new test make up a story about Herod trying to kill babies under the age of 2 and then try to claim this was a fulfillment of a prophecy in Jeremiah (look up chapter 31 verses 14,15,16) when Jeremiah never speaks about anybody being killed there and is in fact speaking of the exiles to Babylon after the destruction of the first Temple whom God says will return (in verse 16) and thus are not dead at all?

      With all due respect, Jesus (peace be upon him), was not that prophet foretold by Moses(peace be upon him).
      Read Acts 3 17-24.
      These verses tell us that Jesus had died and ascended to heaven but the prophecy of Deuteronomy 18:18 was still being repeated so how can he be that prophet when he died and went to heaven? Prophecy points to Muhammad (peace be upon him).
      Just a few similarities.
      1. Both received their first revelations on a mountain and were given their mission.
      2. Both were Shepherds.
      3. Both emerged from the same region from modern Saudi Arabia when they claimed prophethood.
      4. Moses became a prophet after 40 years being a Shepherd, Muhammad (peace be upon them both) at 40.
      5. Both spoke the words of God.
      6. Both were accused of using magic
      7. Both fled from assassination attempts, Moses fled to Midian from Egypt and Muhammad (peace be upon them) from Mecca to Medina.

A more believable story than the cover up story of a virgin birth using the HOLY SPIRIT WHICH IS ACTUALL GOD , AS THE BLAME OF WHY MARY WAS PREGNANT , YOSEF DIDNT SAY ANYTHING BECAUSE SHE WOULD HAVE BEEN STONED TO DEATH FOR ADULTERY AFTER SHE WAS ALREADY BETHROTHED TO YOSEF , MARYS HUSBAND .

    The Word of God CANNOT have different interpretations. Isaiah 7:14 clearly states a virgin will give birth to a son and He shall be called Immanuel. This is further supported by Isaiah 9:6. What I find interesting is that many Jews do not accept any prophecies beyond the first 5 Books of Moses, the Torah. There are many other books in the Old Testament that cannot just be thrown out. That is going against the Word of God. There are two covenants. The old under the Law of Moses and the New Covenant under the bloodshed of Jesus as sacrifice to take away the sins of the world. Jesus stated in Matthew 5:17 that He did not come to abolish the Law, but to fulfill. This is very important to those who seek salvation through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Matthew 5:20 states,
    “For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of Heaven”.
    It’s important to read the Bible, both Old and New Testaments and really study and ask the Holy Spirit for guidance and understanding and not take the Word of the Lord in vain or interpret it as said to happen with false prophets and teachings. God Bless you all 🙏🏽

    Jesus (PBUH) is the Messiah for us because I am a Muslim. Jesus (PBUH) didn't came to reject the law of Torah which was given to Moses (PBUH), Jesus (PBUH) came to fulfill the law of Torah.
    And We sent, following in their footsteps, Jesus, the son of Mary, confirming that which came before him in the Torah; and We gave him the Gospel, in which was guidance and light and confirming that which preceded it of the Torah as guidance and instruction for the righteous.[Quran 5:46]
    And [mention] when Jesus, the son of Mary, said, "O Children of Israel, indeed I am the messenger of Allah[i.e., God] to you confirming what came before me of the Torah and bringing good tidings of a messenger to come after me, whose name is Aḥmad." But when he came to them with clear evidences, they said, "This is obvious magic."[Quran 61:6]
    [And mention] when the angels said, "O Mary, indeed Allah(God) gives you good tidings of a word from Him, whose name will be the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary - distinguished in this world and the Hereafter and among those brought near [to Allah(God)].He will speak to the people in the cradle and in maturity and will be of the righteous. "She said, "My Lord, how will I have a child when no man has touched me?" [The angel] said, "Such is Allah; He creates what He wills. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, 'Be,' and it is. And He will teach him writing and wisdom and the Torah and the Gospel. And [make him] a messenger to the Children of Israel, [who will say], 'Indeed I have come to you with a sign from your Lord in that I design for you from clay [that which is] like the form of a bird, then I breathe into it and it becomes a bird by permission of Allah(God). And I cure the blind [from birth] and the leper, and I give life to the dead - by permission of Allah(God). And I inform you of what you eat and what you store in your houses. Indeed in that is a sign for you, if you are believers. And [I have come] confirming what was before me of the Torah and to make lawful for you some of what was forbidden to you. And I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, so fear Allah(God) and obey me. Indeed, Allah(God) is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is the straight path.'" But when Jesus felt [persistence in] disbelief from them, he said, "Who are my supporters for [the cause of] Allah(God)?" The disciples said, "We are supporters for Allah(God). We have believed in Allah(God) and testify that we are Muslims [submitting to Him].Our Lord, we have believed in what You revealed and have followed the messenger [i.e., Jesus], so register us among the witnesses [to truth]."And they [i.e., the disbelievers] planned, but Allah(God) planned. And Allah(God) is the best of planners.[Mention] when Allah(God) said, "O Jesus, indeed I will take you and raise you to Myself and purify [i.e., free] you from those who disbelieve and make those who follow you [in submission to Allah(God) alone] superior to those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me is your return, and I will judge between you concerning that in which you used to differ. And as for those who disbelieved, I will punish them with a severe punishment in this world and the Hereafter, and they will have no helpers."[Quran 3:45-56]

      @@topuaman2620 I personally don't believe that God has a religion... The Abrahamic religions that we know today is just a product of Messopotamia sumarian mythology these Messopotamia civilization has a culture that believe in Gods, the first man and woman is Adam and eve, Noah that saves humanity from flood etc this is clearly in Sumarian culture...... That brought by Abraham to Canaan soon became Israel in ancient times. This Israelites/Hebrews people created a religion that based on Messopotamia ideologies they called it Judaism they believe in one God and a messiah messiah...... That soon evolved to another religion Christianity.... according for Christians the Jewish promise messiah is Jesus Christ (Christ means messiah). So that Christianity established in 7AD, then Islam also established in 600AD as they believe also in one God just like Jews., The only difference is Muslims/Muslims perspective claims that Quran is the final book of God and the logical point why he anointed Muhammad as final prophet is to restruct the Torah+Bible that according to Muslims are corrupted books...
      The other side of the civilization is in India Wich is Hinduism, it's the oldest religion in the world. They also believe in God, and that religion is also evolved to other sect like Buddhism, Jainism...
      In ancient china they have also ancient religion Taoism....

      God is not a man, Jesus is a man but not a god. The sprint god sent was just a regular soul created in the womb of Mary this is a godly miracle. What would be the reason for god to be born out of Mary as Jesus and not god? If Jesus said you he is the way to the father does that mean you should worship Jesus or the father?? How is one god three different figures this is really shady. Sure Jesus was able to raise the dead and create birds but these were miracles that god was doing not Jesus. When Moses’ staff transformed into a serpent it wasn’t Moses who did it, it was God. You are not worshiping god you are worshipping a man that’s why you idolize famous people that stems from you worshiping a man who you claim to be god. Give me a verse from the Bible where Jesus says “I am god, worship me” there isn’t!!! You have no sources to go back to, you yourself probably don’t care what the Bible says Bc it was written by people with no last names!!! No source!! You are lost! There is only one God and that’s not Jesus, Jesus was a messenger of god nothing more nothing less. Simple no need to over complicate the triune but “one” god. He is ONE nothing more nothing less.

      If you bothered to read the Torah, then you would know a few things. First, J broke every single law of sacrifices being one. Second blood sacrifices could only atone for unittentional sins between you and G-d, and finally, G-d provided much better and more preferred ways to clear sins other than blood. J simple isn't one of them.

      @@garyweiss7111 O blind one, all these sacrifices pointed to the one true perfect sacrifice, Jesus Christ, for animals were never perfect and could never atone for your sins but were a foreshadow of the one true sacrifice, and all these sacrifices were just a temporary means of covering sins. "25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

    While on Earth Jesus was a tzitzit-wearing, Torah observant, Seventh Day Sabbath-keeping, Feast-keeping, Biblically kosher Israelite from the tribe of Yehudah/Judah who came to proclaim the Kingdom of YHWH; not to bring any "religion" or to abolish His Father's Divine Instructions in Righteousness (Torah), without which we would have NO blueprint for moral, holy living (Matthew 5:17-19).
    Isaiah 53:1-12 says, "Who has believed what he has heard from us? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed? For he grew up before him like a young plant, and like a root out of dry ground; he had no form or majesty that we should look at him, and no beauty that we should desire him. He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief; and as one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by G-d, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned-every one-to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth; like a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent, so he opened not his mouth. By oppression and judgment he was taken away; and as for his generation, who considered that he was cut off out of the land of the living, stricken for the transgression of my people? And they made his grave with the wicked and with a rich man in his death, although he had done no violence, and there was no deceit in his mouth. Yet it was the will of the LORD to crush him; he has put him to grief; when his soul makes an offering for guilt, he shall see his offspring; he shall prolong his days; the will of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. Out of the anguish of his soul he shall see and be satisfied; by his knowledge shall the righteous one, my servant, make many to be accounted righteous, and he shall bear their iniquities. Therefore I will divide him a portion with the many, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong, because he poured out his soul to death and was numbered with the transgressors; yet he bore the sin of many, and makes intercession for the transgressors."
    Some people insist that "Jesus abolished/fulfilled (as in brought an end to) the law" and that all one has to do today is to "believe in Jesus." Hardly anyone seems to realize that, what Jesus attempted to "do away with" was not the Father's divine instructions, but the rabbinical, man-made "stuff". Even Rabbi Saul aka the Apostle Paul verified this when he said: Do we then nullify the Law through faith? May it never be! On the contrary, we establish the Law. (Romans 3:31). You will find YHWH's original commandments sprinkled throughout Torah in places like Genesis 26:2-5; Exodus 15:25-27, 16, 20:6; Leviticus 22, 26, 27; Numbers 15 and 36; and Deuteronomy ch. 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 13, 26, 27, 28, 30, 31.
    Jesus said in John 3:13-18, "No one has ascended into heaven except he who descended from heaven, the Son of Man [Jesus]. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in him may have eternal life. 'For G-d so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For G-d did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of G-d" (Reference: Acts 7:54-56).
    Jesus Christ is righteousness/godliness revealed in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:16), declaring G-d whom no one has seen (John 1:18), the everlasting Father who dwells in Him (John 14:10, 2 Corinthians 5:19). Indeed, He is the Word made flesh (John 1:14), the visible image of the invisible G-d (Colossians 1:15), and the exact representation of His nature (Hebrews 1:3) for in Him the fullness of deity was pleased to dwell in bodily form (Colossians 2:9) just as the prophet Isaiah foretold (Isaiah 11:1-2). He is Emmanuel, "G-d with us" (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23), the arm of YHWH revealed (Isaiah 53:1; Exodus 6:6). And so when we see Him we see the Father (John 14:9), when we hear Him we hear the Father (John 7:16, 12:49, 14:10,24). He is the Aleph and the Tav, the beginning and the completion (Revelation 1:8, 22:12-13); the Living Bread that came out of Heaven (John 6:51) whose origins are of old (Micah 5:2). All things have been created by, through, and for Him (John 1:3, Colossians 1:16-17, Hebrews 1:1), and all things and all authority on Heaven and Earth have been given to Him (Matthew 11:27, 28:18). As such He is the true G-d (1 John 5:20) whose throne is forever (Hebrews 1:8) and at His Name, every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall confess that HE IS THE LORD which brings glory to the Father (Philippians 2:9-11) the One who has completed His work through Him (Matthew 26:39, Luke 22:42, John 4:34, 6:38), and finally, it is finished (John 19:30). I believe that G-d became incarnate in the person of Jesus Christ; that He was conceived of Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) and was born of the virgin Miryam (Mary); that He is truly G-d and truly man; that He lived a perfect, sinless life; that all His teachings are true (Isaiah 14:1ff.; Matthew 1:23). I believe that Jesus died on the cross for all mankind as a representative, vicarious, substitutionary sacrifice (I. John 2:2; Isaiah 53:5-6). I hold that His death is efficacious for all who believe; that our justification is ground in the shedding of His blood; and that it is attested by His literal, physical resurrection from the dead (John 1:12; Acts 16:31; Romans. 5:9; Ephesians 1:17; Matthew 28:6; I. Peter 1:3).

    Jesus is the only way to heaven. Such an exclusive statement may confuse, surprise, or even offend, but it is true nonetheless. The Bible teaches that there is no other way to salvation than through Jesus Christ. Jesus Himself says in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” He is not a way, as in one of many; He is the way, as in the one and only. No one, regardless of reputation, achievement, special knowledge, or personal holiness, can come to God the Father except through Jesus.
    Jesus is the only way to heaven for several reasons. Jesus was “chosen by God” to be the Savior (1 Peter 2:4). Jesus is the only One to have come down from heaven and returned there (John 3:13). He is the only person to have lived a perfect human life (Hebrews 4:15). He is the only sacrifice for sin (1 John 2:2; Hebrews 10:26). He alone fulfilled the Law and the Prophets (Matthew 5:17). He is the only man to have conquered death forever (Hebrews 2:14-15). He is the only Mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). He is the only man whom God has “exalted . . . to the highest place” (Philippians 2:9).
    Jesus spoke of Himself as the only way to heaven in several places besides John 14:6. He presented Himself as the object of faith in Matthew 7:21-27. He said His words are life (John 6:63). He promised that those who believe in Him will have eternal life (John 3:14-15). He is the gate of the sheep (John 10:7); the bread of life (John 6:35); and the resurrection (John 11:25). No one else can rightly claim those titles.
    The apostles’ preaching focused on the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus. Peter, speaking to the Sanhedrin, clearly proclaimed Jesus as the only way to heaven: “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). Paul, speaking to the synagogue in Antioch, singled out Jesus as the Savior: “I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. Through him everyone who believes is set free from every sin” (Acts 13:38-39). John, writing to the church at large, specifies the name of Christ as the basis of our forgiveness: “I am writing to you, dear children, because your sins have been forgiven on account of his name” (1 John 2:12). No one but Jesus can forgive sin.
    Eternal life in heaven is made possible only through Christ. Jesus prayed, “Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent” (John 17:3). To receive God’s free gift of salvation, we must look to Jesus and Jesus alone. We must trust in Jesus’ death on the cross as our payment for sin and in His resurrection. “This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe” (Romans 3:22).
    At one point in Jesus’ ministry, many of the crowd were turning their backs on Him and leaving in hopes of finding another savior. Jesus asked the Twelve, “Do you want to go away as well?” (John 6:67, ESV). Peter’s reply is exactly right: “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life, and we have believed, and have come to know, that you are the Holy One of God” (John 6:68-69, ESV). May we all share Peter’s faith that eternal life resides only in Jesus Christ

    I really respect this rabbi's gentle response, but I want to address some of his points. And, sorry that this response is really long lol, but I just wanted to make everything clear! :)
    1. The rabbi said something along the lines that our interpretations of Biblical text are based on our overall theological orientation. But, with this mindset, any theological orientation could be right and true. For example, some may argue that murder is part of their theological orientation and they will find Biblical text that supports their view and interpret countering texts with that view that murder is alright. But, we all know that murder is universally wrong and it cannot be interpreted differently in the Biblical text. Same with many other topics, including the Messiah. Yes, there are some texts that are interpreted differently, even among Christians, but those texts don't shake or break down the foundational truths found in Biblical text that cannot be otherwise.
    2. The Messiah had to be divine and equal with God. Psalm 2:7 says, "I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee." This verse states that the Messiah wasn't only human, but was God's Son. You may argue that this passage isn't talking about the Messiah, but verse 2 states, "The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against His ANOINTED [definition of Messiah] . . ." Verse 12 continues to say, "Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and ye perish from the way."
    Also, in Genesis 1:26, it states, "And God said: "Let us make man in OUR image, after OUR likeness."" Who was God referring to by OUR? Who else could He be referring to other than Him as the Father, Son, and Spirit?
    Another passage that talks about the Messiah being divine is Psalm 110:1: "The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool." The fact that the LORD is saying to the Lord "sit thou at my right hand," makes the Lord an equal ruler with the LORD. Plus, David is calling his future descendant, the Messiah, His Lord, which gives the Lord a higher position than just human.
    3. For the Messiah to be divine, He had to be born of virgin. (I'll evaluate why that was necessary in a following point.) Isaiah @ states, "Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you (King Ahaz) a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call His name Immanuel." Now, you may argue that the word "virgin" was a mistranslation of the term "young woman," but even if that were so, why would God decide to prophecy about an ordinary birth? Plus, why would the son be called Immanuel, which means "God with us," if he was born the regular way, out of the intentions of a husband and wife? This shows that the Messiah had to be born of virgin to match His title as Immanuel.
    In addition, Isaiah 54:1 says, "Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD." This verse talks about the virgin giving birth to the Messiah through which many, many people shall be called sons and daughters of God.
    4. The Messiah had to suffer and die as an individual. In addition to Isaiah 53, Psalm 22 is another passage that shows the Messiah suffering and dying. When Jesus cried out "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" when He was dying on the cross, He was also saying that Psalm 22 is talking about me. In the past, the first line of a psalm was its title. So, people would say, "Let's sing "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?"" Jesus' crucifixion matches perfectly to the contents of that psalm, especially in verse 16: ". . . they pierced my hands and my feet." At the time of David, crucifixion wasn't even a means to kill a person. Therefore, it was a prophecy of the way the Messiah would die.
    5. I agree that just because a person was born in Bethlehem or was a descendant of David doesn't mean that he was the Messiah. However, the chances of being the actual Messiah grow smaller with each additional prophecy. Fulfilling one prophecy, like being born in Bethlehem, is not enough to be considered the Messiah, but fulfilling over 25, such as being sold for thirty pieces of silver (Zechariah 11:12 and Matthew 26:14-15), the money being cast to the potter (Zechariah 11:13 and Matthew 27:5-7), and being silent before the accusers (Isaiah 53:7 and Matthew 27:12-14), is more than enough to be called the Messiah. As the chances get smaller with more and more prophecies, the clearer it gets that Jesus was the true Messiah.
    6. Why did the Messiah have to be divine, suffer, and die? He had to die for the punishment of our sins. Yet, there are objections that each person has to pay for his/her own sins. The problem is we can't pay enough to cover the cost of our sins! Animal sacrifices used to take a person's sin unto themselves, but God says in Isaiah @-15 that He doesn't delight "in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats" and "it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting." Sacrifices have become an excuse to do more sin and cannot cover sins anymore.
    You may argue that sacrifices won't cover the sins of people who are hypocritically worshipping God, but the fact is we are all hypocrites! Every person is evil and deceitful. As Psalm 14:2-3 states, " The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God. They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doth good, no, not one."
    And, as the Law of Moses clearly outlines and our world testifies, the punishment for sin is death, not only physical death but eternal death as well. There is nothing we can do to be forgiven of our punishment, because we are all evil. That means no one will live eternally with God, because He justly must punish all who sinned and the fact is all have sinned.
    But, there was a joyous solution! To have a perfect sacrifice atone for all sins ever committed. The only perfect sacrifice available was God's Son, the Messiah. This explains why the Messiah has to be divine and be born of a virgin, to not have the influence of sin being passed to him through Adam's line. So, the Messiah was the perfect sacrifice, without blemish or spot, and was able to take our punishment and give us eternal life with God.
    Now, you may wonder why would God do that, if He is just? The answer is the most wonderful part of Christianity! The answer is that God is not only just, but merciful, slow to anger, and loving! He doesn't want to see people dying, and that's why He gave up His Son for us! This is just mind-boggling!
    So, if you reject this amazing gift of God, you will be making the worst decision ever, and God just won't have any mercy for you, because You have rejected His ultimate gift of love. But, if you accept the gift, it WILL be the best decision you will ever make!!!
    7. The Messiah will rule the nations and bring all people to worship the one God, as you said. The Messiah is still yet to fulfill all those prophecies of bringing the nations together, returning all the Jews to their homeland, and establishing mount Zion as the place of worship for all people. This will take place at Jesus' 2nd coming. Most of those prophecies mention the phrase "at the end of days." Our days are still going on, so the end has still not come.
    8. I always finish off with "There is forgiveness of sins for all who repent" - Jesus.

      1. First and foremost, the text must be understood in its straightforward meaning, unless it does not make sense or is impossible to reconcile with the rest of the text. We can derive multiple additional lessons from the same verse, but (and I think this is what the Rabbi was referring to) only if it fits with what has already been established by other sources.
      2. Biblical texts like the Prophets and Psalms must be read in context of the surrounding verses. Psalms especially, since it is written in poetic form. Psalms 2:7 is referring to the nation of Israel. This terminology is also found in Exodus 4:22: "So says G-d, 'Israel is My son, My first born.'"
      Similarly in verse 2, "His anointed" doesn't refer to the Messiah. The word "Moshiach" (Messiah), means anointed. We use this word, because the Messiah will in fact be anointed as king of Israel. Thus, he is "the anointed one," which in Hebrew is Hamoshiach. But the word is often used in the Torah to mean anything or anyone that is anointed. (Leviticus 6:15, "And the anointed priest [kohen hamashiach] in his stead, from among his sons shall offer it..." II Samuel 1:14, "And David said to him 'How did you not fear to put forth your hand to slay the G-d's anointed [King Saul]?'").
      Verse 12 is mistranslated. The Hebrew word "bar" means purity. The interpretation of "son" is Aramaic, and David did not write in Aramaic. The verse says "Pay homage in purity, lest He be angry, and you perish in the way, when suddenly His wrath is kindled. Happy are all they that take refuge in Him." It can also be interpreted as "arm yourselves with purity...," meaning when judgment day comes, your only defense against the wrath of G-d's judgment will be to be pure in your worship of Him (Happy are all they that take refuge in Him).
      Genesis 1:26 is perplexing, but that doesn't suggest G-d was talking to His alter ego. G-d has no physical form. That is clearly established in the second of the Ten Commandments. So necessarily, "our image" must mean something other than simply, let's make a man that looks like us. The "image" portion is easy enough to reconcile, as it is possible to have a non-physical image. G-d created man with with His attributes, meaning He gave us the capacity to emulate Him. He gave us the attribute of mercy, justice, love, anger, morality, etc. The part that says "Let us create..." is commonly interpreted as G-d taking to the angels. Of course, this begs the question, why? Well, one of the attributes He gave us, is kindness. G-d is teaching us to include those below us when making decisions that affect them. We see the same thing in Genesis 18:17, where G-d consults Abraham before destroying Sodom and Gomorrah.
      Psalms 110:1 is again, a mistranslation. "The Lord," when mentioned scripture is not the same the word "lord." One means G-d, and the other means and important man. In Hebrew scripture, G-d's name is generally spelled in a way that does not translate as "lord." But, we are not allowed to pronounce that name (or even write it unnecessarily), so it is translated as "The Lord." Then there is the formal way of referring to someone, as "my lord," just as it was in ancient times in other cultures. Today, the term for "sir" in modern Hebrew is "adoni," which literally translated, is "my lord." But when the guy behind the register at the supermarket calls me "adoni," he obviously isn't suggesting I'm a deity. Getting back to Psalm 110:1, G-d certainly would not tell His Messiah, "Sit at My right Hand, while I make your enemies your footstool." The opposite is true. G-d will send the Messiah to subdue His enemies. The verse is most likely referring to Abraham, whom David refers to as my lord. G-d had assured Abraham victory when he went to war (in Genesis 14: 14-15) to rescue his nephew. This is evident from Psalms 110:4, where G-d says He will not go back on His word, that Abraham's offspring (Israel) will be priests forever "according to the words of Malki-Tzedek." Malki-Tzedek was one of the kings rescued in the war in Genesis 14, "and he was priest of G-d the Most High." (Gen 14:18). When he approached Abraham, he blessed him, and he then he blessed G-d. Abraham corrected him for blessing a human before blessing G-d, and Malki-Tzedek agreed, and gave his position of priest to Abraham.
      I'll try to cover some more of your questions some other time.

    • @chayimjakob5499
      @chayimjakob5499 3 роки тому +1

      3. You are referring to 7:14, which says, "Therefore G-d Himself shall give you a sign: behold, the young woman (Ahaz' wife) shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel." Indeed, the word, which you translate as "virgin," is "almah," which means young woman. This is not a matter of opinion or debate. It is Hebrew. You can't call a cookie a pencil, and then have a discussion about its true meaning. It simply doesn't say or imply anything about a virgin. As to why G-d gives us prophecy about an ordinary birth, you may ask the same question about the many other prophecies about ordinary births. And as you dive into that question, you might discover many wonderful lessons. But your question doesn't make the woman in the prophesy a virgin. As to the name Immanuel, it is a common Hebrew name. And though it means G-d is with us, it doesn't meant the person bearing that name is G-d. Remember, the prophecy says G-d will give a sign to Ahaz. The sign will be that he will have a baby, and his wife will name him Immanuel. This could not have been Jesus, because Jesus was born centuries after Ahaz. Also, look at the verses that follow. By the time he (Immanuel) knows good from bad, the land will east on fat and honey. The lands of the kings that are attacking Jerusalem will become abandoned. The king of Assyria will be defeated, his lands will become desolate. This did not happen in Jesus' time.

    If Isaiah 53 is referenced to Jewish nation then in Isaiah 53:7 it says He was oppressed and afflicted yet he did not open his mouth and he was silent as a sheep before his shearers.
    This Rabbi is really gentle and nice but if we look back to history we see how Jews have rebelled against higher authority ,we all know about the revolts under the Roman empire and most importantly the Siege of Jerusalem so Jews have not been silent under oppressors it was only Jesus who was silent.
    Paul himself says that it was for the hope of Israel that he is doing this. This was in his letter to the Romans. God really loves His children Israel. And we also know that Paul once persecuted christians thinking he was working for God and so was so much patriotic to his nation. Then how could that same man change to even give up his life for Christ and declaring that it was in the hope of Israel that he was undergoing these trials.

    • @c.linfordnitin7390
      @c.linfordnitin7390 4 роки тому

      @Ken Brownsher hello brother
      See children here means children of God. Everyone knows that the temple curtain was torn into 2 the moment Jesus died on the cross. That means now all who believe in Jesus have become children of God.
      And the division of spoils with the mighty, that verse means that God has exalted Jesus above every other name now and soon that will be visible physically. He will come back and the government shall be upon His shoulder.
      And if these verses actually really referred to Jews then again the question of them not opening their mouth under opression stands.....as we know how they revolted Roman rule.
      And to conclude the chapter also says "yet who of his generation protested? For he was cut off from the land of the living"
      So earth is the land of the living and Jews were not fully wiped out of the land. They were exiled.
      It was Jesus who was cut off from the living but again saw the light of life.
      We all know that people never die for something false. Then how is it possible that a few men from there just about 2000 years ago gave up their life for Him? It was in the hope of a coming kingdom.
      Have a blessed day and stay safe.

      The curtain being torn may have no meaning to Jews but the place behind the Holy of Holies definitely had meaning as only the chief priest could go in........if tat curtain itself was torn then wat does it mean.......
      Paul never went against any believer.........there was only difference of opinion......how can a kingdom divided within itself and against itself stand so long???? Then how do u think the belief has lasted so long????? Paul and James being workers for Jesus......and even in the future when there were conflicts now how do u think they resolve and the faith is now one of the biggest in the world ????

    This study explored five key prophecies in the Jewish Bible: (1) the Messiah will be born in Bethlehem, (2) the Messiah will be born of a virgin, (3) the Messiah will suffer and die to atone for sin, and (4) the Messiah will die before the Second Temple is destroyed. The evidence points to Jesus as the one who filled the requirements to be the Messiah.

    I would urge Christians to not blindly support your faith and read Tanakh in its entirety from a Hebrew source before making any decisions on how you want to worship. Read it in English that’s fine, but be careful of the changing of definitions of commonly used words for the purposes of fitting it in with Christian beliefs. Judaism is not a religion of “believing”, all Jews are required to do research and search for god to know him. The “proofs” provided by Christian’s are almost always very clearly wrong, this rabbi was just being polite. As an Orthodox Jew who has devoted much time researching the claims made by other major religions, I can tell you it is very easy to disprove Christianity and Islam’s claims. The word “interpretation” was used a lot in this video, which seems to imply that Tanakh is very confusing. I always thought the opposite, Tanakh is very straight forward when you read it from beginning to end and stay as close to the original Hebrew as possible. I pray that everyone has the patience and time to research for the truth before living a life based on easily disprovable source material.

      @Paula Wallace Paula, I appreciate your tearing apart of the dumb mercenary arguments due to their obvious mistranslations or overt bastardization of the texts meaning.
      I really do...at the same time I find your fighting them on their own ground, i.e. that any of these are actual prophecies and some messianic age is coming, to be troubling. We have done critical analysis of these books. Isaiah had at least 3 authors and was written and edited over centuries. Daniel was mostly written in the 2nd century, not the 6th. How coincidental that it gets all the events from about 600 B.C. to 167 B.C. correct and then goes absolutely 0-for on any prophecy after that. Hmmm? I wonder why. Maybe because the author/authors, knew of the events between 600B.C. and then because they were HISTORY.
      We need to stop arguing with these people wherein their basic premise that these are real prophecies is correct and they just have the wrong interpretation. That will never work. They need to be educated about the actual authorship and dating of these works. They need to be educated that these so called prophecies are actually history being told via allegory for the express purpose of having POLITICAL and CULTURAL effects of the jewish people living when the books were written. THAT WAS THEIR PURPOSE! This needs to be the argument. Not, "you misinterpret and mistranslate"...no matter how true that also may be.

In fact many of his epistles are the ONLY works that scholars believe were actually written by the claimed writer.
      You can be religious and find meaning in the Bible without being myopic enough to think the claimed author is actually the author the VAST majority of the time (especially in the Old Testament). If Jesus was not the messiah then who was? The OT, Daniel in particular, is very clear when the messiah would enter history. Daniel 2 days his kingdom would enter history during the time of the roman empire. Daniel 9 breaks down an exact to the year time frame that he would enter history and that he would be killed. Also to say Isaiah 53 is talking about the Jewish people and their collective experience and faith is not only arrogant but blasphemous because you would have to now prove that Israel is without sin and could even be worthy to be a guilt offering for sin which is impossible and would not be consistent with what the Torah teaches about guilt and sin offerings. Massive contradiction. Isaiah's audience was the Jewish people. Why would he be telling his people "we all like sheep have gone astray" and then tell them that they represent the salvation of the world, when the rest of the book of Isaiah says the exact opposite?

    Hello,
    We love this Rabbi, but don't agree with him. Before Jesus , they rejected God as their King many times.
    " The jew religious leader didn't believe in Jesus as the Messiah because He was not willing to live in obedience to the laws they established that were in addition to the Law fo Moses. So, They conspired to murder Jesus because He was violating their laws. In the process of His arrest and conviction, they violated over 20 of their own laws. "
    Torah or old testament:
    1 Samuel 8:7 ( God is talking and he is
    Not happy)
    When the Israelites asked for a king, God says “they have rejected me from being king over them” (1 Samuel 8:7). That was the core of their sin. They wanted to have a king “like all the nations” (1 Samuel 8:5). But God’s plan for Israel was not to let them be ‘like all the nations’! God was their king, and He ruled them directly. He spoke to His people through the prophet Samuel. But that was not enough for them. They did not want a simple prophet speaking God’s words to them. They wanted a strong and mighty king! And they forgot the Lord Himself was their strong and mighty king.
    JESUS said in John 5:45
    “But do not think I will accuse you before the Father. Your accuser is Moses, on whom your hopes are set.
    GOD has been rejected by his own people so many times. Why should we believe Mr Rabbi when the evidence are overwhelming who God's Messiah is vs Mr Rabbis Messiah.
    In Matthew 24:35 Jesus said:
    " Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. "
    After many years, many Rabbi passed away( dead now) but the word of the living God in the flesh( Jesus) still stands.
    Please learn the holy scripture from a jewish person named Aaron Budjen who accepted Jesus as the true God's Messiah.
    Please read on your own the old testament ( Torah)without the Rabbinic interpretation ( Talmud). Do your homework and you will come to the conclusion to accept Yeshua as God's Messiah.
    Please read and listen to Aaron Budjen service as a pastor: www.livinggodministries.net/living_god_ministries/radio_archive/index.htm

    Jesus says in John 14:7-11” If you really knew me you would know my Father as well. From now on you do know Him and have seen Him. Philip said "Lord show us the Father and that will be enough for us. Jesus answered: "Don't you know me Philip... Anyone how has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say show us the Father? Don't you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you are not just my own. Rather it is the Father living in me that is doing the works."
    Jesus and the Father, Hashem, HYWH are one through the Holy Spirit. God is Spirit and the Father of all spirits living in Jesus His Son.

    Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.

    Then said Daniel unto the king, O king, live for ever.

    He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.
    Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.
    Is this the same Angel when the LORD declared his spirit also became flesh as a kind of man in Genesis 6:3
    Genesis 6:3 And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.
    Is this the Angel as the splitting image of God spoken of in the new testament ?
    Colossians 1:15-19 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
    For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
    And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
    And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
    For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;
    Ore shall it be more clear when Hebrews one is read with great understanding:
    Hebrews 1:1-14 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
    Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
    Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
    Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
    For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
    And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
    And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
    But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
    Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
    And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:
    They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;
    And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.
    But to which of the angels said he at any times, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?
    Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
    Now that very same Angel of angels as the Cherub the LORD did fly upon in the midst of the Cherubims as the flaming sword turning every way.
    The LORD said unto my Lord, sit on my right hand till I make thy enemies thy footstool.
    The Word of God also became flesh as a Angel of God , and dwelled amongst us as the Messiah . God with us , not God is us.
    The Word of God was always the LORD as the likeness and the Cherub (Lord) as the image of his word .
    When Abraham spoke to the LORD before the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah :
    Genesis 18:1-3, 25-27 And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day;
    And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground,
    And said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant:
    That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?
    And the LORD said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes.
    And Abraham answered and said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord, which am but dust and ashes:
    He spoke to the LORD but saw three angels /man .
    Two went to Sodom and Gomorrah, as Abram spoke to one angel .
    Than he said I have spoke to the Lord that was nothing but Ash and dust. Meaning he could not see the Lord , but a angel only .
    Hallo !! The LORD flew upon a Cherub (one angel with two wings)
    In the midst of the Cherubims (four wings of two angels)
    Forming a Seraphim with six wings !!!!!
    Isaiah 6:1-3 In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.
    Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.
    And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.
    You Jews need to study the Torah way better . It seems you people are lost from the knowledge of the real Jews at the time thy did except the messiahs teachings to be the spirit of prophecy that was upon Moses , and came unto the 72 elders aswell and thy prophecied . Meaning they spoke the tongues of angels . Also known as the secret language of the Hebrew/Jews.
    Please wake up !!!!
    You mist the messiahs first comming by 2000 years !!!!!!!!!°
    How is that possible ?????????

    The word "virgin" is not in Isaiah. Isaiah used the Hebrew word almah, which simply means "young woman." He did not used the word "betulah", which means virgin. So the Rabbi is correct there. Isaiah's textannounces that the woman is with child, which hardly qualifies her to be a virgin. When Isaiah was translated into Greek, the translators rendered almah with the Greek word parthenos. Only in that Greek word does the hint of virginity enter the text.

      Gods name is usually EL. Elohim. Jehovah whom is Jesus.
      The one rabbis hate? I quote their own very popular Tanakh JPL Tanakh 1916 Isaiah 53:5 "5 But he was wounded because of our transgressions,
      He was crushed because of our iniquities:
      The chastisement of our welfare was upon him,
      And with his stripes we were healed.
      6 All we like sheep did go astray,
      We turned every one to his own way;
      And the LORD hath made to light on him
      The iniquity of us all.
      7 He was oppressed, though he humbled himself
      And opened not his mouth;
      As a lamb that is led to the slaughter,
      And as a sheep that before her shearers is dumb;
      Yea, he opened not his mouth." - Clearly they hate Jesus (Immanuel) whom is clearly God.

      How is it a sign for a mere young woman to give birth to a son since young women do that all the time. It would indeed be a major sign for a virgin to give birth since that would require Devine intervention or some sort of medical technology that, presumabily didn't exist at that time.

      @@imadzahran2566 What was said about Mary? If something was said that is nasty then, I lose respect for the person and they lose that, I am out. I must have missed it. I have heard so many supposed men of God who are so full of hatred, they lose me in the beginning of their obnoxious rhetoric. I believe my faith is enough that I do not need anyone to tell me anything contrary to my belief. As a person who is part Jewish, the overwhelming evidence is that JESUS IS the Messiah, I need no proof, When a person is raised in the environment where parents tell them from birth that Jesus is not, they can only think "My parents are wise and I will believe as they do" The child knows nothing else. Those who come to the Messiah do so on their own and use the Bible to come to their conclusion. I love these claims, they show a math equation about Jesus and the probability of his being the Messiah. "The story of Jesus saturates the meta-narrative of the Bible, and prophecies of His first advent are found throughout the Old Testament. Allusions to Him also come up in micro ways, as many people and events hint at the work He would accomplish. One scholar, J. Barton Payne, has found as many as 574 verses in the Old Testament that somehow point to or describe or reference the coming Messiah. Alfred Edersheim found 456 Old Testament verses referring to the Messiah or His times. Conservatively, Jesus fulfilled at least 300 prophecies in His earthly ministry.
      So, the question of how many prophecies Jesus fulfilled is difficult to answer with precision. Should we count only direct messianic prophecies? Do we count repeated prophecies twice? How about allusions and indirect references to the ministry of Christ? And what about types? A type is a prophetic symbol: a person or thing in the Old Testament that foreshadows a person or thing in the New Testament. So, while Isaiah prophesies the Lord will offer good news for the brokenhearted (Isaiah 61:1), Boaz lives this out, acting as a type of Christ (Ruth 4:1-11).fter examining only eight different prophecies, they conservatively estimated that the chance of one man fulfilling all eight prophecies was one in 10^17. To illustrate how large the number 10^17 is (a figure with 17 zeros), the professor gave this illustration: If you mark one of ten tickets, and place all the tickets in a hat, and thoroughly stir them, and then ask a blindfolded man to draw one, his chance of getting the right ticket is one in ten. Suppose that we take 10^17 silver dollars and lay them on the face of Texas. They’ll cover all of the state two feet deep. Now mark one of these silver dollars and stir the whole mass thoroughly, all over the state. Blindfold a man and tell him that he can travel as far as he wishes, but he must pick up the one silver dollar that has the special mark on it. What chance would he have of getting the right one? Just the same chance that the prophets would’ve had of writing these eight prophecies and having them all come true in any one man, from their day to the present time.
      In financial terms, is there anyone who would not invest in a financial venture if the chance of failure were only one in 10^17? This is the kind of sure investment we’re offered by God for faith in His Messiah.
      From these figures, the professor concludes the fulfillment of these eight prophecies alone proves that God inspired the writing of the prophecies - the likelihood of mere chance is only one in 10^17. Another way of saying this is that any person who minimizes or ignores the significance of the biblical identifying signs concerning the Messiah would be foolish"

He will teach him the Scripture and wisdom, the Torah and the Gospel, And [make him] a messenger to the Children of Israel, [who will say], 'Indeed I have come to you with a sign from your Lord in that I design for you from clay [that which is] like the form of a bird, then I breathe into it and it becomes a bird by permission of God.(Quran 03:45-49)
      "[The Day] when God will say, "O Jesus, Son of Mary, remember My favor upon you and upon your mother when I supported you with the Pure Spirit and you spoke to the people in the cradle and in maturity; and [remember] when I taught you writing and wisdom and the Torah and the Gospel; and when you designed from clay [what was] like the form of a bird with My permission, then you breathed into it, and it became a bird with My permission; and you healed the blind and the leper with My permission; and when you brought forth the dead with My permission; and when I restrained the Children of Israel from [killing] you when you came to them with clear proofs and those who disbelieved among them said, "This is not but obvious magic." Chacham Dan I too will quote the Ramban, when he speaks of Isaiah 52 and 53:
      “”The text continues, referring still to the Messiah, “As many were astonished at Thee” [Isaiah 52:4]. Their astonishment was shown by mocking Him when he first arrived, and asking how one ‘despised’ ‘meek’ and ‘riding upon an ass’ [Zech 9:9] could conquer all the kings of the world who had laid hold upon Israel, and rescue him from their hand: so acted Pharaoh toward Moses, when he mocked him...”
      Notice that the Ramban speaks of Moshiach IN THE PAST TENSE. He’s referring to Yeshua, the one who suffered for our sake.
      Our sages are correct when they say the Temple was destroyed and our people scattered because of sinat chinam. It is our unjustified hatred and rejection of an innocent man, Jesus.
