Steve, “The Mad Drummer,” Moore is a viral drumming sensation with a total of over 50 Million views on UA-cam. His viral status was recognized by Modern Drummer, Drummerworld, Ludwig, Sabian, Evans, Pro-Mark, Tosh.0, Yahoo, and pretty much every drum forum on the web.
Steve has since appeared at multiple drum festivals, where he has performed with Tomas Lang, Benny Greb, Keith Carlock, and Mike Portney, to name a few. Legend has it that he is still at the wrong gig
It’s really too bad that comments are so against Rick K and the rest of the band. Of course Steve Moore is outstanding, it’s obvious. He’s easy to enjoy because of his excellence and finesse. But Rick hired him to join the band when they both needed the gigs. They practically grew their styles with each other. Rick is a decent man, maybe not the most outstanding singer but for sure a savvy businessman and puts out a family friendly show when so much music today is pure trash. I enjoy their synchronicity and they no doubt have chemistry. The new drummer Jeremiah is only 22 and doing a great job trying to find his place with Rick K now. Steve has gone on to bigger and greater things but I think both men are ethical and decent and neither is arrogant or competitive with each other. I wish more people would appreciate the band for what they’ve brought to the masses instead of always bashing Rick K’s talent. By all accounts he’s a stand up guy just making a living like the rest of us. Most of us don’t even use our God given talents and at least this guy shares what he has.

I agree completely. Rick is an excellent entertainer. He's actually a good singer but people need to understand he's not trying to imitate Bob Seger -- he's just trying to show the audience a good time. And by the way, Rick is an outstanding drummer in his own right. Very talented guy.
I give them all props. They're up there performing. It isn't easy--try it if you don't believe me. Rick seems like a talented, clever guy who found a good niche and is having a good time. Reminds me of a radio DJ from my hometown who totally embraced the "cheesiness" vibe.
Whats more shocking is that he doesn't miss a beat at all.
I dont care what anybody says he truly is a freaking genius and freaking GREAT just look at how soft he hits the high hat as he is swinging wildly like an octopus what technique and control. I love him

The drummer, Steve Moore is absolutely amazing. This is a Vegas Show Band. Steve puts on the SHOW. The rest of the band members are great musicians, but it’s clear that ALL EYES focus on Steve for most of the show. If Steve was an average, or mediocre drummer, all the trick strokes, etc. would be embarrassing, but he’s actually a very good/excellent drummer!
I agree. Without the skill the stick tricks would be lame. But he never misses a beat..... serious legit skills on the drums.

The comment directly below praising Rick is spot on. He's actually a decent singer -- the real problem is the sound reinforcement. There's zero reverb on his voice, and it's WAY too far forward so that every little mistake (and ALL singers make small mistakes) is noticeable. This is actually a pretty entertaining band, and that's the point.
Steve has more talent in his pinky finger than the whole band had put altogether..
If not for natural talent he added additives ‼️the sounding band and singer sucked‼️

And let’s add that the band is 95 percent sequenced. The only thing that is live is the drums, lead vocals, and the horns are playing over the backing track horns. NOT LIVE MUSIC. ITS KAREOKE WITH A BAD A** drummer
Unnecessary comments. If one member is fun to watch, that doesn't mean the others are s***. Steve would probably be pissed off or upset to hear his band members being disrespected. Besides, we can all be honest, if they all acted crazy, that wouldn't help - it's the guys standing still sensibly who are supporting the drummer. You can't have one without the other.
He's the perfect drummer for the punk band Toy Dolls. They also play Wipe Out. 😅

That drummer is bad ass! The singing however is less than par to me. The drummer belongs in a heavy metal band!! This guy is lucky to have this drummer.

I don't get it. Why isn't Steve Moore drummer for a better, more nationally/internationally high-profile band? He's doing all the stuff Zoltan Cheney does.
It's not like he's there against his will. He want's to be there and plays the music he likes so he's where he belongs.
He chooses to do this if you research steve moore for 5 mins youll see hes been there done that and this is what he LOVES to do.

Who writes the subtitles for UA-cam videos? If people are actually getting paid for it, it would have to be the best job ever! Obviously, they just sit and type whatever crap they want to. If I was in charge, they'd all be fired. I don't think I've seen one single video where the subtitles were even close to being correct let alone even making sense.

I think people are missing something. The other band members are inentionally acting cheesy and amateurish, so that Steve's talent and antics will look even more discordant. Its a comedy routine. It has to be. Why else would someone with Steve's talent keep playing with these "hacks"

The instrumentals are fantastic. The singing, not so much. My guess is people come just to see the drummer.
I have the same thoughts, but maybe he sounds worse than he need to; his voice is very dry in the mix.
