    In general your analysis is right but for loan aspect.. it is in-accurate. in case of blue card you just limit number of bank option not the rate itself

    Thanks a lot for explaining this in detail! After the 21 months, how long does the process take from the date of application to getting the PR? Also, what if we want to work in another EU country after PR, is that possible, or do these rights only apply to Germany? Isn’t there such a thing as EU PR vs German PR only?

    Hi Ritwik, appreciate the informative video. Thank you! I have a question regarding the restriction on the job type. If I was here on a EU blue card as a scientist, can I switch my job profile to a management kind of role and stay on an EU blue card?

    Hi Ritwik, thank you so much for the detailed video :) :) I have a question, I am eligible for a blue card and the contract starts on 1 August'23. I will be in India by 15 June (and I cannot apply for the blue card before that, since I have to renew my passport). Since blue card appointments are difficult to get, I am told that I can apply for a researcher's visa as well. Is there any difference? I can always come to Germany and apply for the blue card, also in this case how difficult is this process, as compared to India.

    There is a small correction. If you have a eu blue card issued in Germany and wish to move to another eu country say Poland, u can transfer blue card but still have to undergo paperwork for getting blue card there. One can’t just go to Poland and start working. So those thinking of this, plan accordingly. Especially in countries like Netherlands, eu blue card transfer could take up to 2 months but u could get a hsm permit in just 2 weeks in some cases and yes u can transfer social security from one eu country to anorher

    Thank you for your video. Unfortunately, I still can't find answer to my situation. I would kindly appreciate if you reply. What if I was in Germany on the grounds of temporary permit due to family reunification. I have already worked for 18 months and two months ago switched to blue card. For obtaining the PR as a Blue Card Holder do my pension payments and duration of stay previously would still count or it begins from the moment I obtained blue card?

    which german language test would be more recognized as demonstrating "command of the language" when applying for the blue card/permanent residency? OR no certification required they will judge e.g. B1 level on appointment?

    Hi I am Czech Republic permanent Residency visa holder and living in Prague, working in a German company. What visa should my employer need to apply for me blue card or settlement visa? or is there any other better category to move to Frankfurt Germany?

    It is wrong information in this video that you have to have a PR to obtain german citizenship... It can be acquired without having a PR

      Yes. It is not mandatory to have PR to get citizenship. Both are not linked.

    What if, at the time of applying for Niederlassungserlaubnis- one has changed jobs & in probation period? Will the application be rejected?
    I have read different things on internet about it.

    Thanks for the detailed info. 21 months and 33 months is calculated the date of issue of BlueCard or based on social contributions. Say in my case I started my job July 2020 but I received BlueCard nov 2020

    • @RitwikBanerjee
      @RitwikBanerjee  Рік тому

      It largely depends on your local KVR and the person who is handling your case. In most cases, it is from the date you receive your Blue Card.
