      Hello Jay. You just have to contact your Ausländerbehörde if you think you are already qualified for the PR.

    Bro i have a question, if I'm coming to Germany for masters, and as soon as after I complete my masters, is it necessary that I need to work in the same field that I have studied later on... In order to get PR??

    • @theGermanBrownie
      @theGermanBrownie  2 роки тому +1

      Exactly. You hve to work for two years at least on something related to what you have studied. After that, you are free.

    Hey champ! Good video but point of correction! Denmark and Ireland are part of the EU just that they don’t take part of the agreement of the EU PR. But if you’re from another EU state like Germany with EU PR, and moves to Denmark, they’ll issue you a permanent residency over there to be able to live and work.! My friend did it and never had any problems.! Peace out. ✌🏾

    • @theGermanBrownie

      Correct, these countries are part of the EU. I can’t remember I mentioned otherwise 😅 but thanks for emphasizing it and sharing your friend’s successful story. 😊

    Hey bro, nice video indeed! I’ve been studying in Germany as a foreigner for 6 years, will finish my masters in music this year. I’ve been earning money as a freelancer (musician) next to my studies. Can I apply for for a Niederlassungserlaubnis? I don’t earn enough to pay tax but enough to survive. Would appreciate your answer man! Thanks 🙏🏼

      If you have paid the public pension for at least 24 months, i think, you could apply for it. If you haven’t paid the pension scheme, that would be tricky.

      @@theGermanBrownie Thank you very much for the swift reply. I understand that if you have completed a degree in Germany, it is possible to apply for a pr after 2 years of employment.
      My next question is if I need to immediately directly start working after studies, or can I look for a job at some point in the future and when applying for the pr after 2 years just show my degree. Would appreciate your answers a lot! 🙏🏼

    • @theGermanBrownie
      @theGermanBrownie  2 роки тому

      @@lalalalo2119 ideally you should apply for a job immediately. The most important thing there is your pension contribution. If you have done that properly then you can apply for it. If after your graduation you didn’t have a job, that means you did pay your social security contribution including the pension. So apply for the Pr if you have worked for 2 years already.

    • @johnnybaron5593
      @johnnybaron5593 2 роки тому +1

      No way! Your wife is covered when y’all move to Germany. Because Sweden is an EU country and it will be waived automatically if y’all move to Germany. Just go to the Auslanderbehorde in your city and they’ll issue her a residence permit because you two are married so you should be fine sir!
