+Permaculture Homestead yes they have been most helpful. But I still always double & triple check. Just for my own peace of mind. I'm a little paranoid. Lol.
It looks like Perrilla. I grow red perilla and it's delicious. My friend's Korean dad grew these, like corn stalks, they get higher than 8 feet tall. They need a lot of water though. You smear chili sauce on it, and stuff it with samosa filling, meat too if you're interested, then roll it up and eat like a burrito. Tastes amazing, has a unique lovely scent and beautirul pink flowers bumblebees love.
+Denise French not yet. But I'm a nervous Nellie. So I check, double check & triple check. If I'm in doubt I wait till I'm 100% sure for safety. There are plant identification fb pages. They are helpful. But I still double check the sources & find out if there are poisonous look alikes. With the more plants you identify & learn. The more comfortable you will get. So just go for and have fun. 😊
the Plant ID guys on FB are GREAT, usually very quick and always with the scientific names. Great stuff, thx for the share
