I'm Japanese and this pen is popular among Japanese students and they actually do use the 0.2 leads for just the normal classes in school Uni Kura Toga is not thin enough to writing complicated Japanese letters sometimes So the lead protecting mechanical pencil is quite important for them (Orenz means "not break" in Japanese) Anyway I love your opening!
I just bought one today and it's really good =)) I broke 1 lead and I thought I'm so clumsy but after seeing this video I dont think that anymore haha =))
Great video, I bought one and was checking videos to see if it was normal to have a little bit of the metal lead cover out when you retracted it. I am not an artist so I just went with the 0.5. to be honest the fact that I don't have to press it and that I don't see the leat out is bugging my mind, but I still really like it
I am in my third Orenz 0.2 - love it - but that’s my third in four years. So basically it breaks after using it for two years…. And I am a gentle user, never dropped it, don’t toss it around… and don’t even use it too much… 😢
@@nadineF crap. I expect it last long at this price tag. Looking forward to your video on this failure. People need yo be warned. All YT videos are praising this shit.
2 years for a pencil is a pretty long time considering what it is and how often you use it. I can’t remember a pencil I’ve owned that’s lasted longer than a few months.
Greetings! Im very interested in buying this pencil in 0.3 mm, can you recommend it after all these years? Really appreciated the review, especially intro and drawing parts.
Thank you for the review, I was very interested in how it would work for drawing, as the soft leads are used up quickly and I have to interrupt the line to pull out more just afraid that the iron tip scratches the paper, is that true?
22:52 The size of 0.2 mm is good for writing that are characters, like Japanese, Chinese, etc. 0.5 mm is just too wide, and seems to me, Asians write small anyhow, so you need the thin lead so as to not overlap the strokes of the characters. Anyhow, I love your humor.
As someone who had to write traditional chinese characters in high school Mandarin classes…. and used sad dull #2 Ticonderoga pencils… while I understand the sentiment, to claim that you can’t sufficiently write characters with a 0.5mm mechanical pencil is silly. 😆 But yes, something tiny like this is ideal. I like this for drawing complicated architectural drawings/sketches and also wispy cursive letters.
@@word42069 I don't write characters; the characters I'm referring to are letters. I was referring to my own cursive in reference to the 0.5mm, so it's not silly to me. And who says anything about sufficient? Your line can be big and fat for all I care. That's why it's called preference.
Even as an artist, I have no use for any lead size under 0.5. Outside of drafting, such sizes are for show, not for real world use. If you want a thin line, buy a Uni Kura Toga in 0.5. The rotating mechanism in these pencils keeps the lead needle sharp so you can get a 0.3 or even a 0.2 line, while keeping the benefits of a thicker lead, and a better built pencil.
I bought the Roulette in 0.5, and while I really like the rotation mechanism, as a low gripper the distance between the tip and the lowest point where I can comfortably hold the pencil is just too high. This combined with the mushiness of the tip makes it less than ideal for my writing needs. I found the Pentel Sharp Kerry, Rotring 600 and Zebra Delguard LX to be the most comfortable 0.5 pencils I've tried so far. The Delguard's grip section is rather high up the shaft for me as well, but the transparent plastic part below the grip is actually quite comfortable to hold.
This was the most unexpected opening I’ve ever watched in a video and I loved every second of it
The intro was so unexpected!🤣
Great video
You could sell me anything with an intro like that!🤣 Seriously the best review channel ever plus almost ASMR quality art!
I watched this entire video and kept laughing throughout it was hilariously fun to watch. I’m sold on the Pentel Orenz Nero but I’m getting the .05

I'm Chinese, kids use 0.5 or 0.7 till high school. 🎉
that intro was incredible

❤that intro. Spielberg couldn’t have done better. Pencil and review were second bananas after that. This is the way.
underrated loved the intro
Omg this is hilarious. Thanks for the review! Was trying to place the metal nib part inside i just didnt remember how 🙃

Where did they break?😢
@@Shanghai_Knife_Dude the lead doesn’t go down anymore. Neither through the automatic mechanism nor manually.

I actually do use my 0.2 orenz nero for tiny drawings in a small sketch book!
Finally mechanical pencilssssssssss!!!!!!!
Hilarious m8 😂 I just copped mine and I can’t wait to evolve my draughtsmanship.

What!! 10 pcs!? Probably the new releases?
The 0.2 Ain Stein I got back in 2019 has 20 leads in it.
Maybe sometime in 2019 they changed the amount? Haven't worked that one out yet.
But if that's the case I'll be on the lookout of old 20pcs stock.
The 20 pcs is the new package. The 10 pcs are still in stock.
@@xingyuzhou1891 Well that is good news. I'm used to companies always selling us smaller amounts! Good Pentel.
best pencil in the best video
I ❤ only God.
gr8 job m8
what lead grade are you using?
i would guess HB and i wouldnt recomend anything softer for 0.2 lead
@@MJaquez55 i think 2b is perfect though

I can agree with you, it isn't good for drawing. But its great for writing
5:08 the bending give me anxiety
great fucking intro
