Hey, I hava a question about that pencil. If you click the top of the pencil, will the lead continue to protrude past the barrel the way a standard mechanical pencil does? Also, can you push the lead back in towards the barrel the same way you can like other mechanical pencils by holding the top down fully & slowly pushing the lead back? Thanks so much!!!!!!!
Yes to both questions. The sleeve that protects the lead floats by itself and relies on the friction between itself and the lead to stay in place. Apart from that the pentel orenz works just like most mechanical pencils.

You should not push the lead past the protector. You must keep the lead inside the protector or else it will brake.
