In short: Yupo paper is not normal paper. It has a mind of its own and will give its input to your artwork without asking. Unless your using pencils that is. Good for artwork that has abstract alcohol inks everywhere.

Ok I probably will be temped to make another product review. But I just don't want to sell that there is a connection between our personal development and some endless cycle of materialism.

A rough summery ( which is about as long as a summery can be) as to why I think the fountain pen is the best kind of refillable pen. I have problems with every other kind I know of. I videoed this on a really cheap usb camera. So easy. I think I'll do it again.

In which I quickly modify a international cartridge piston converter from a cheap Jinhao pen to fit in my sailor fude nib fountain pen. I then also use a silicone drinking straw as a refillable cartridge as well.

Imagine if a pencil was a technological advancement into the future of sustainable writing implements. A shining example in a dark self-destructive world of wanton wastefulness. I know a sort of made fun of their marketing but after writing the above I have some respect for it. It wasn't easy.

In this experiment I filter sumi ink in an attempt to make a DIY platinum carbon black. It helps quite a bit. Not perfect though.

The Pilot Kakuno is a great fountain pen. I think they had a put a face on it just to tell everyone it's target audience.
