Thanks! Love the car. The handling of them is what's just incredible. my old 944 could go around the curves outside of town at over 3 digits with a couple fingers on the wheel vs. white knuckling around them at 70 in the old Cougar i had before it.
Porsche provides a grounding nut for the trickle charger (or for jump starting) as the manual says not to connect to the negative terminal of the battery.
Not a problem, the post on mine (991 Turbo S) is towards the driver side of the vehicle, further away from the battery than one would guess. The trickle charger c-tel cord barely reaches.
Worth watching before you swap your own battery in a modern Porsche.
The Porsche is AWESOME man !!! I've never rode in one, but have heard that they are an "experience" to be enjoyed, for sure !!

that i didn't know, and i think the dealer connected it back the way i had it, to the negative terminal, but i'll check now that you say that. thanks!
