Sheesh. Mr Makh, we need you to put together a men's conference. If I was on social media, I would reach out to you for some one-on-one time. Our churches don't do enough to talk about these things. And I find that even church leaders aren't always equipped to counsel us as married men regarding these things. Also, too many men are refusing to be vulnerable enough to have these chats. Society forces men into boxes and generalizations. It leaves no room for nuance/different experiences. Your sharing this convo is making room!

So, we conceived our first born on a “flat tyre season” 😅. That’s what we called it. It was a funny space for us but I obviously felt like he didn’t find me desirable anymore. We thrived through the season until things went back to normal and I later found out I was pregnant. Now every time there’s a “flat tyre season” I’ll be scared that Jeso, I’m gonna conceive again 😢😅😂
