This is the part and song of Zelda I remember most. Such a beautiful and amazing game. This reminds me of when my parents were together, a better more innocent time when I did not have the stresses of adult life, work, education, society. I could just be free and enjoy life or lose myself in a great game like this. I got a bit teary with this one too. Absolutely beautiful song, truly amazing! :D

The windmill drew water from the well, increasing the speed of the windmill increased the rate that water was taken out of the well. The speed of the windmill was increased by the wind in the storm you summoned.

*There's a safe glitch you can all use so you NEVER have to do this...* -Make Link stand on the well, with his back facing the pool. -try to get Link so the back of his boots are as close to the ledge as you can without him falling in so that when you draw out your sword he WILL fall backwards and in. -Once Link is positioned on the ledge wait for Navi to say HEY... then, draw Link's sword... press B so he'll go HYAAAAAA in mid air (Landing on the ledge) quickly talk to Navi (Press the Navi command rapidly if need be) and when Navi goes LISTEN... Link should drop RIGHT to the floor of the well... so now you can swim backwards and enter the dungeon. You can now try and get the Lens of Truth without having to come back in time for it later and YES... this glitch also works with that shortcut to Zora's River in the Lost Woods (Just think, now you can leave the forest WITHOUT beating the Deku Tree first... word of advice... don't leave without the sword)

There is a windmill, and that windmill makes a song based on the movement of the mechanism, and when you play the song of the storm, you make a storm (.-.) what make the windmill move faster and the song too
Wait hold on, how did you get double defence? You dont get that until the very end of the game. The only way to get double defense is to get all the medallions in the game and then go to Ganons castle to get the golden gauntlets then you need to lift up a huge Boulder so it will open the last great fairy fountain that gives you double defense. I think you hacked to get it.
You can do the windmill part as the very last thing in the game if you feel like it because the lens isn't necessary to complete anything. It just makes some parts easier.
In case you still havent figured it out 11 years later, you have to learn it as an adult and go back to the temple of time after you do the forest temple and you can go back to the past
My favourite part is just the "?" when you walk in, like not even the game knows what's going on.

Fast version is superior simply because the tempo syncs up to the same speed as links footsteps.
It's not it's own song fine. They changed the song to go faster and with a pitch change in game, not have 2 separate song files.
