I loved all the helpful tips and the way the wheels turned out! However not to Underscore the excellent job you did on making the wheels look much better than factory steel wheelies! But you mentioned self-leveling paint, which may or may not be entirely true if the wheel wasn't removed from the vehicle to be placed on a flat horizontal level ground with gravity having less of an effect on the paint levelling properties when compared to spray painting a wheel or anything for that matter while the wheel is still on the vehicle. This seems to me to be less advantageous than removing the wheel in order to ensure uniform levelling of the spray paint. I did like the pro tip suggested to tire shine your tires prior to spray painting the wheels in order to minimize cleanup or the need to use. I'm asking tape. I'm thinking what I might do is in order to mitigate the chances of tire shine getting onto the wheel surface area? I could either use a small paintbrush with any type of oil or tire shine whichever is plentiful and go around that area of the tire or the entire tire using our 1 inch wide paintbrush for the same reason you discussed.
