I had a hysterectomy when I was 10 years older than you with no children, which was so hard. I had 20 fibroids the largest was the size of a 4 month pregnancy and I was like you enough was enough with the pain and heavy periods. I camped out on the couch which was way easier. Now I am happy I went through it, quality of life way better. I hope your surgery goes well .
Girl you had me cracking up at not getting online to look at the horror stories! I about cancelled mine after I read some stories too 😂🙏🏼🙏🏼wish you nothing but a pain free life from here on out ❤️
I’ve really enjoyed watching your videos! They’ve giving me so much insight..I’m 32 and I’m looking to have a hysterectomy this week due to Adnomyosis, Endometriosis and heavy bleeding, cysts on my ovaries..Thank you beautiful for sharing your story! I’m glad you’ve had a successful recovery.
Thank you so very much! I’m so glad I went through with it as it has changed my life for the better. Praying you have a successful surgery and a speedy recovery. ❤️
@@DesireeNicole You’re very welcome! Thank you so much I appreciate it ❤️.. I have it next Friday so I’m beginning to get a little nervous as the time gets closer but I’m definitely trusting God to bring me through this journey..
Thank you so much for sharing your story! This really helps. Though each journey is different I feel that some of the pain we endure is similar. Like you, I also decided to share my journey which is a journey of trying to conceive which has come with so many twists and turns. Please keep sharing to help others. Be blessed! ❤
Just found your page today! I am 52 and had a robotic hysterectomy last year in August. I am glad I stopped the bleeding, but my body had some different symptoms the following months. I will keep watching to see if you may have any similar symptoms.
Yup had mine3/22/2023. Hope all went well with you and you are healing with no problems. My incesions are still healing using aquaphore. Sore melting stitches still hanging around.
I’m having mine done next month. I’m not the least bit nervous. Not right now anyway. If anything I’d say I’m just ready for this to be over and done with. I’ve had heavy cycles for as long as I can remember. I too have fibroids. Two rather large ones. I also have an anterior titled uterus, a shorter than normal cervix that is also slightly twisted and possible adenomyosis. According to my OB, I should’ve had this done probably 10-15 years ago. And I’m 41. He’s basically saying this should’ve been done in my 20’s. But that’s our healthcare system for you.
I don’t even remember getting anesthesia. They give you medicine to make you “loopy” beforehand and so you have no recollection of it. Some people have reactions (the shakes, nausea, etc) but I personally had no issue with it. Came out just fine. Hope that helps.
I have nothing but my ovaries I was sore for a few days I felt weird at first but it went well now sex after a hysterectomy that's a whole nother video

Hi everyone,
Can anyone provide insight on their experience with general anesthesia or was the easiest part of the surgery?
