Pouring Footings: Can the MudMixer Handle It?? || Shop/Apt Build Ep. 2

- Today we are pouring perimeter footings for our shop/apartment build. We are also preparing to pour our stem walls. We will be pouring the entire foundation by hand using the MudMixer.
The apartment will be our home until we finish with our main house (years down the road from now). And we cannot wait to get out of the RV and into the apartment!

Haven't watched your other videos and short on time. :) Can you give some specs? How big is the footing you're pouring (cross section, and overall footprint)? How many yards did you pour?
We poured both the footings and the stem wall. The building is 30 feet by 57 feet.
The footings were between 15 and 16 inches wide and about 6 inches deep. Plus we had 4 point loads, all 12 inches deep and on average 42 x 42 inches. We used about 8 1/2 yards for those.
The stem walls were about 20 inches high and 6 inches wide (except a small portion of our RV bay wall was 8 inches wide). The stem walls used about 5 1/2 yards. I hope this helps!
What number do you have the mud mixer set at? Love your channel. I binged the whole shop build!
Great machine. Nice to see a bigger pour. The concrete is too soupy, concrete loses strength when too much water is added.
