    That was fun, and I'm barely tired! Still, I will take a nap this afternoon. I like watching others work, especially when they work smart and not hard! Thanks, Justin! GREAT WORK! 👍

    Really well done video! Accessible blockfill is a perfect application. Seeing the bag breaking numbered is very satisfying - good idea!

      @@JustinsProject Such a good idea I am going to copy it, thanks! Will use the Mudmixer to make a vertical-build (formless) mix.

    For a second there I thought you were going to flip $4k worth of machine over that pallet. Great demo! Thank You!

      You caught that, lol. The look on my face was priceless. I thought I had lost it. The pallet actually broke, but I got lucky. The hopper was loaded, so it was pretty heavy.

      It is a great machine to have if you can budget for it. I highly recommend it since it decreases the workload by at least 80%. I will never use a bucket-style mixer ever again. Good luck! Thanks for watching and commenting.

    Bought mine 2 months ago, but its just been sitting in the shed. Plan on pouring slabs in October when the weather is cooler in Florida.

    Thanks, Justin. We are preparing to use our unit for the first time. We don't have the hopper extension and chute like you do but we will be installing 1300 bags of cement for our footings and pads... yeah - I am nuts but live on a mountaintop where no cement truck can go!

      @JustinsProject  8 днів тому +1

      1300 bags!!! Y'all are going to be some tired people. And sore. Hopefully, you have some good friends to help you out. Goodluck!

      @@JustinsProject Slow and Steady gets the job done. No help - just me and my wife. There is no way to get a cement truck up on the mountaintop - so, this is the way.

    What about the water? When you turn it off does it keep on spraying? What about the cement getting hard and stuck in the machine then becoming inoperable?

    • @JustinsProject
      @JustinsProject  15 днів тому

      Water only flows when you have the machine on. I never had any cement dry up on me. I did have periods of time when I needed to do things and had to take a break. I didn't have any issues, this machine was so much better than anything I have used in the past.

    The machine looks amazing, but the price tag is a little steep for the average small business I think. You can get a normal concrete mixer for a couple hundred bucks, one of these where I live is over 3 grand lol

      @JustinsProject  19 днів тому

      It is worth the investment of you are a small business doing smaller projects. It will pay for itself and save your back. It is a ton easier than the traditional bucket mixers.

    Curious why the retaining wall blocks are filled with concrete instead of gravel

    • @JustinsProject

      Ultimately, I am building a solar wall. I need something to anchor my racking system to. I will have a full video on that once I finish everything.

    I have the impression that I can do a shutter extension myself .. almost $200 for that thing

      It is definitely possible to build a DIY version of the chute with the right materials and tools.
