I'm so glad you started over on the basket, I made one a few years ago (different pattern I'm sure) and that discus you had going was too floppy! But 15 strands 🤪😳 you are committed! I felt one tiny quake while visiting CA and that was plenty.
Thank you for keeping me well-hydrated! 😂 15 strands!?!?! WOW Did you see that Tanis Gray is releasing a book of Gilmore Girl patterns later this year?
Hi Joan, why do you say you have no business making a sweater? Knit what brings you joy! I'll be at the SoCal Fiber Fair on Saturday as well. I hope to get a chance to say hello!
I’m glad you’re immune to earthquakes. What’s the weight of CLFA Rhodosa pink yarn? If you wanted to crochet a sweater the one I’ve done twice is pretty easy. It’s in hdc. Good times and great to hear from you.
@@Emmyemmcee I’m not immune, I get all freaked out when I feel them. But for some reason I didn’t feel any of the ones lately. I’m hoping they got that out of their system and will settle down now. The yarn is fingering weight and I have a pattern called the girlfriend sweater I want to make. That’s the problem, I want to make everything!!
"Scratch Count" HA!!! We used to count all of the times a teacher would say "ok". It got ridiculous as his count was in triple digits. When ya gonna move out of the Land of Earthquakes?
@@ChickenLadyFiberArts I raised 2 Southern Californians, one of which married an Orange County girl so they are never leaving. I would go in an eye blink but I want to stay in the same state as the people who can pull the plug on me.
❤❤❤
I love when my dogs have puppy dreams, it’s so cute.
Your big ball of scraps looks like a lot of fun.
@@astitchinthesky I can’t wait to be done with holiday knowing tying and get back to it.

@@selfishknitter you are most welcome, I would do an “ok” count but then you might drown. Haha. I’ll have to look in that book.

I have tried making a sweater and it wound up being the size of a Volkswagen. Also sweaters are not needed as much where I live.
