The metal supports on the lower valance is there because the down force will rip the bolts out. The supports are added mounts to keep the valance on the car.
When I was Sebring, FL Police, I would word the "12 Hours of Sebring" endurance race. Working the hair-pin area, when the Viper came around, everything on my body was shaking from its power
Same exact thing happened to me back in 2000 when I was working the hair pin at long beach. The C5R's would rattle your chest cavity as they accelerated out onto shoreline drive. The thunder was bone shaking!!!
Man, I told you before do whatever you gotta do to keep this girl she’s got the prettiest smile and the nicest voice. Everything about her is perfect. You better be good to her
She is very pretty, but she wants to make money off you guys on OnlyFans, I have two daughters do I want them on only fans, the answer is no. She lost my respect. I still respect Yass the guy loved cars.
Well, I go for my surgery today. Find if I’ll be here tomorrow. Please don’t ever change. You’re very smart. Find somebody as beautiful as you like Cars very hard like I said as beautiful. I don’t think that would ever happen.
Vipers were not built for drag racing, although they were pretty good. Vipers were built for road racing and track racing such as auto cross. My 94 RT was fast in the quarter mile, but it had an engine built by a speed shop. My 99 GTS wasn't as fast in a quarter mile but was faster for auto-cross racing. I enjoy your Videos. Thanks!
The Viper has been my dream car since I was a kid and that has not changed to this day. I remember meeting up with one of my childhood friends a few years ago, all the way from grade school. He asked me "Did you get your Viper yet?". Unfortunately, I can't say I have, but one day, I will own one. It all started when I was wee little toddler chillin' in my parents car, and a Viper whizzed by us on the highway. I was astounded, and immediately fell in love with it. I still remember that to this day. I do own my 2nd dream car though, so I'm grateful for that. I'd be happy with an older '98 GTS or an '06 RT-10, or honestly ANY Viper, but a newer '17 ACR would be my dream. These cars are literally monsters. Vipers only come with manual gearbox and very limited assists as he noted. It's essentially strictly built as a track-purpose race car requiring skill to actually drive. The Viper's goal is to kill you, while having the time of your life. Lmao. Btw, the ACR has a faster lap time in every circuit, including the Nurburgring, than the GT3RS (nearly 20sec faster on the Nurburgring. So yes, this car crushes most, if not, all of it's competition when corners are in play).
Someone I work with has an older Viper and first generation - he showed up at work one day with this beast! It is blue and beautiful and there is such a thing as the Viper club here in the US. Amazing car! This one you are reviewing is of course out of this world, but I must say I love the first version.
When the Viper ACR hit the Nurburgring in 2017, it beat every single German car's time. Only ones that beat it were a couple of super limited Lambos and a couple of Radical SR8s.
My buddy's dad rented out the Route 66 drag strip....he blew up his dad's Chevy Impala taking it down the strip. Lingenfelter had installed the motor and signed the the hood himself.
Fun fact 1: The first year of the Viper was 1994, and it was so hard to control for the average consumer that more than half of them were wrecked in the first year. Check out Doug Demuro's review of the 1st gen Viper. What was Dodge thinking?? The Viper quickly got a reputation as a su1c1de mission. Not even the car thieves would touch it. LOL but true! Fun fact 2: My 2021 Mazda Mazda6 Signature with its little 2.5L turbo 4 banger makes only 250 horsepower, but a whopping 320 torque on premium fuel. I can beat most cars from stop light to stop light, but its the longer roads where they leave me behind. Still bad ass for a Mazda!
I got to go to a GT race when I was younger and there was at least 3-4 ACRs amongst all the Aston Martins, Ferraris, Porsches, Mercedes, and Lamborghinis.
I can count on one hand how many Vipers I've seen on the road here in Houston Texas where you see loads of high end sports cars!! It leaves me wondering why?
If you guys want to react to another amazing American car check out the Cadillac CTS-V 3, and the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing. Luxury race cars basically lol. I think you would really enjoy those.
Twin Turbo Viper - 2,000 hsp. Street legal. Destroys everything. However, if you want to see a Viper & Porshe 997 GT3 go at it on the track - I suggest this from.. 15 years ago. Vulkan Racing -Team Mintgen Motorsport Dodge Viper GT3 vs Porsche 997 GT3 Onboard Nordschleife on You Tube. Brutal sound, nose to tail epic racing.
Viper is the only car ever with engineering from BOTH Ferrari and Lamborghini. Chrysler was owned by the owners of both those Italian makers at different times. In fact, the V10 aluminum block was made with Lambo technology. Ferrari was involved in making improvements to it. When Sergo Marchione, head of Fiat-Chrysler showed it to his CEO of Ferrari in red trim....the Ferrari boss was actually impressed with it's radical look and asked to drive it.
The Viper debuted in 1993 at a cost of around $75K. They discontinued the vehicle in 2017. Poor sales was most likely the main reason. Because even here in America, it was extremely rare to see one on the road. They just weren't very practical for a street car, let alone an everyday driver. They were more for track use really.
If you're getting a new American car, the best choice would be the Dodge Charger. You get a great blend of performance and practicality. Great looks, massive horsepower, four doors, what else do you need?
Actually, V10s sound like absolute crap as a rule. Manufacturers really struggle to get the exhaust note right. It's pretty much accepted in the auto industry that V8s and V12s sound the best. V8s have that deep rumble (especially American V8s because they tend to have larger displacement). V12s have that amazing higher-pitched scream, like a race car, because they tend to wind up to higher rpms. The V10 inherently sits between the two sound-wise. Not quite as "rumbly" as the V8 and not as exotic as the V12. Of course, if you grew up listening to any particular engine that one sounds great to you. Most JDM fans love the 6 and 4-cylinder sound.
V10 sound is very dependent on the bank angle and firing order. Your typical Audi/Lamborghini or Viper V10 is odd-firing, meaning the exhaust pulses are uneven, generating that rougher sound. An even firing V10, as found in F1 cars, early Gallardo models, and the Lexus LFA, is quite literally musical; the exhaust pulses, assuming equal-length headers, harmonize into a perfect 5th chord. You're also wrong on the source of the classic V8 rumble. That's caused by having (once again) and odd firing interval thanks to a cross-plane crankshaft, not displacement. While larger engines do typically have deeper exhaust notes, crankshaft and camshaft design have a much larger impact on sound.
Hi guys! I'm a bit curious, but why do you guys post so many car videos? Almost everytime I find a new video from you guys it's always about cars. Your channel is full of it car videos. Why?
@drun420s4 Somehow, I can't help but wonder if they could have designed it to look a little less cartoon-ish. It's silly looking. My as well put a hang glider on the back of it...put a hot air balloon on it too! I'm sure it could serve some kind of function....yeah, whatever.
@@richardSmith-mk1wlIt's pure function in this case (900 pounds of downforce at 150 MPH), mounting it higher keeps it out of the turbulence from the body. The Viper GT3-R had a very similar wing for a reason. The standard Viper GTS doesn’t have a wing, front splitter, or dive planes, those are exclusive to the track-focused ACR.
The metal supports on the lower valance is there because the down force will rip the bolts out. The supports are added mounts to keep the valance on the car.
And because the downforce is fully adjustable so those “poles” are able to adjust up and down for sharper or less downforce
Should react to the CALVO Viper
Not Calvo, Nth Moto. More records with Nth Moto i believe
337Speed has a great video on the Dodge Viper and how it can make 2000+ horsepower with a few modifications! Y'all should react to it

I have my order in for a new C8 Z06 with the Z07 package. I can't wait.
I think Throttle House's video shows how crazy this car is, and they do track times with other cars. That would be a good react video
1:51 Its for support and to adjust the forces up or down depending what you need do to weather and/or a specific track.
0:45 the dodge viper is my dream car. I actually went for a ride in a 1994 Dodge Viper and it was everything I hoped and more. That car is SO FAST
I don't think I saw a Pontiac GTO. Beautiful beast that started a whole generation of very streetable muscle cars.
My buddy's dad rented out the Route 66 drag strip....he blew up his dad's Chevy Impala taking it down the strip. Lingenfelter had installed the motor and signed the the hood himself.
Those “poles” are for adjusting the splitter because the wing and splitter are fully adjustable so you can raise or lower

You should check out the 2003 Dodge Tomahawk motorcycle powered by the Viper V10 engine.
Changing the rear gear on this car is equivalent to rubbing the genie’s lamp. Wish for anything you want.
Still to this day the biggest production engine ever put in a car. Even Bugattis new Tourbillion is 8.3L
Dude!!!,....watch the texas 2k roll races,....the vipers are insane!!, 3000hp + vipers racing.
When you drive that, you’re convinced it’s a demon, and it’s trying to kill you!
they are there for additional support and also adjustability for more or less downforce while driving aswell

React to NASCAR at Le Mans. Would love to hear your reaction to that!

That's how you adjusted the splitter
You guys have a great channel. Just subscribed
Thanks 😊
You can adjust the splitter for more downforce on your front end
You should look at the motorcycle they make with a viper engine in it

The splitter is most likely adjustable, or it helps keep the splitter attached to the car at high speed.
I rented a Viper in Vegas. I mean fish taling in 3rd gear!
German cars are clinical. Vettes and Vipers are fun.
that was good. you should have narrated the whole video
The original Viper GTS was clocked at 190+ with the original 8.0 liter V10, but I'm sure the ACR would out-handle it.
Dodge made a Viper GT3R and im pretty sure you can still order it on their website.
My X5M completion has a top speed of 177 mph, an SUV. This car should have more top speed.
Pure American Beast. 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
