This is how peace can be achieved in TF2. Make it so it's near impossible to even find the enemy that you'll just give up and go trade some hats instead.
That "we lost the intel in the maze" part with spys theme playing made me think that there could be one little scout still zooming around the maze, and nobody would ever know where unless they were willing to give themselves to the Vent gods.
Thing is there's an SCP that resembles this. Don't remember what number but I remember it being a maze within a steel cabinet, the maze wall made out of steel and show signs of rust with occasional light bulbs for illumination. The only thing missing here is a monster hunting people who got lost in the maze.
Here's what you do. Pick a side, either left or right. Then, play the game as if you never remove your hand from the wall. If you choose right, pretend that your'e keeping your right hand on the wall at all times. If left, then the same, but opposite. If the maze is real, and has a finish point, you will eventually make it to the finish, no matter what, as long as your hand stays on the wall. If the maze is trolling you, you'll wind up at the start again. You'll probably take a bit longer, but you will certainly always get where you need to go. No maps, no problem.
@@erinmorgan7639 oh, yeah, in a maze where the ends are on the outside I guess that's true. Loops can break a maze where the end is inside the maze, and you can go around the end. But in a maze like this one, where it goes to another outside edge, it should work, you're right.
Don’t forget that if you hit a dead end you should go back to the last turn you took, turn the other way, and then keep going the same direction(right/left)

I'm glad to have made history with you all, with some help from Mentlegen. Allow me to explain what was going through my head at certain points. So, do note my name at first was joseph.garson.2010, then I changed it later so people would know who I was. 1:26 Pretty much followed the rest of the crew. 1:59 I thought we were resetting, so I did my killbind when RT went spectator. 2:13 I just followed RT, as he was the only person around. 3:00 I was trying to get them to go the direction I was pointing in, as it was the path that led forward. 4:52 Keagan and I had found a blue stickybomb, and wanted to show RT, but he kept moving and we lost him. 6:27 I was actually only a few tunnels behind, I was following Keagan. 7:53 Got to the entrance with the help of that kindly Blu Engie 8:30 I was talking to an IRL friend at the time which made me take the same path twice sometimes. 10:05 RT finally got it. *also it's pronounced awk-wee-doo* 10:40 Okay, okay, I was TRYING to detonate a sticky that was on an incorrect path, but RT walked forward at an unfortunate time. 11:00 Used stickies from other players to make a good deal of progress. 12:04 Scariest jumpscare I've ever seen. 13:20 Cut out around 20 minutes of maze wandering. 13:46 Found the first of my original 13 stickies I placed at the start. 14:34 If you look up at the top, you can see that I blew myself up after I capped.
Truly a postmodern TF2 map. Turbine is famous for being one of the first community-made maps to be added to the official map rotation, but at the same time is infamous for being wholly incompatible with the standard 24 person casual play format. The majority of players simply treat turbine games as a nonstop barrage to the senses, marching out of spawn to the midroom, dying, respawning, and doing it all over again, while the remainder resort to sloth in the name of protecting the intelligence. It is a map where games are spent under the blazing sun of no time limit, and a asylum there is no escape from. Goatinator starkly re-contextualizes Turbine as a Capture-the-Flag map, by removing the player-versus-player gameplay element almost entirely. We are left to our own devices to navigate a seemingly endless maze, walking with the fear of combat lest we lose progress. In conclusion Turbine is a land of contrasts.
Now someone needs to create an orange/hightower map, upside down, curved, tilted, and it tries to kill you and it's also a combination of Hightower, Orange and it's towers fucking higher

Gotta love how they added a skybox above the vents so you can't see in through the roof in spectator. They should replace the texture atop the vents with SCREW YOU, SPECTATORS!
The skybox doesn't contribute to whether or not you can get a top-down view of the map, considering the roof of the vent is one large brush and is textured. Additionally the map wasn't sealed properly, creating the epileptic hall of mirrors effect.
You'll always make it out of this type of maze by staying to one side of the corridor at all times, and then following where that wall leads. It's gotten me out of a video-game maze or two, and has succeeded to impress every time so far. You know, unless you actually wanted to have fun with this map and not certainly win.
With videogames, there are ways to make that strategy fail. Walls that shift depending on which direction you approach them from. Antichamber did some good stuff on that note, that would be absolutely diabolical in a maze like this one.
Wick actually, with islands, you don’t get stuck on them unless you change walls. As such, the only issue is if the end point or start point isn’t on the outside- like some mazes end in the center.

Real Creepypasta So I recently bought TF2 for the Nintendo switch and I was really excited to play it, I rushed home to put the cartridge into the switch and.. everything seemed normal at first until I saw a demoman run at me with the charge 'n' Targe. He killed me and I thought nothing of it.. But when I saw the killcam there was a spy in the background... staring at me with bloodshot eyes. I thought nothing of it and continued to play the game, maybe it was just a glitch. That's when things got worse.The next time I died, it was from the demo again, but the weird thing was that he was dominating me! I swear he had only killed me twice, I was screaming, I didn't understand anything, maybe it was a ghost, I thought of refunding the game. I decided not to and continued playing. Afterwards, I got killed by a sniper using the Bushwacka and Jarate, that was normal until I realised that my family was brutally stabbed with a large knife and covered in piss! I thought that was just a glitch and I continued on with the game. The final straw, was a fight with a soldier using a rocket launcher, I knew i could win the fight because i saw a pyro had caused afterburn, maybe one or two shots where to kill him, I anticipated him to hit me once, but not kill me... that was part of my plan... As the rocket left the cold grey barrel of his rocket launcher, it lit up with the same colour as the team he was on, the rocket hit my feet and instantly killed me, "My game must be possessed!" I muttered, shaking nearly every bone in my body out of fear. I was terrified, before i could think I threw the console out of my hands, the screen impacted the wall of my room and the glass from the screen shattered to the ground beneath my feet. It was finally over, I had stopped the evil cartridge that was probably a second hand game from a child that maybe drowned or something sad like that. I will never be the same, the things I saw when playing that game, The crit... The domination, I'm sure it'll leave me insane only in a matter of time. The End.

With all of the twists and turns, I wouldn't be surprised if someone made a variation of this map where there are a bunch of teleport triggers spaced randomly throughout the map, so if you aren't paying attention to the direction to the intel then you'll just get even more lost. A related note: Replace the flags with control points and it becomes infinitely harder to complete.
It's weird coming back to the old TF2 content after the switch to Variety content. I thought the switch happened in 2017, but RT was excited to see Banana Bay get added and that was late 2017.
This but the whole maps dark and the only light source are flashing lamps in the vents and the intel room. Also the cap activates a script that spawns Helltower skeletons.

So I recently bought TF2 for the Nintendo switch and I was really excited to play it, I rushed home to put the cartridge into the switch and.. everything seemed normal at first until I saw a demoman run at me with the charge 'n' Targe. He killed me and I thought nothing of it.. But when I saw the killcam there was a spy in the background... staring at me with bloodshot eyes.
I thought nothing of it and continued to play the game, maybe it was just a glitch. That's when things got worse.The next time I died, it was from the demo again, but the weird thing was that he was dominating me! I swear he had only killed me twice, I was screaming, I didn't understand anything, maybe it was a ghost, I thought of refunding the game. I decided not to and continued playing.
Afterwards, I got killed by a sniper using the Bushwacka and Jarate, that was normal until I realised that my family was brutally stabbed with a large knife and covered in piss! I thought that was just a glitch and I continued on with the game.
The final straw, was a fight with a soldier using a rocket launcher, I knew i could win the fight because i saw a pyro had caused afterburn, maybe one or two shots where to kill him, I anticipated him to hit me once, but not kill me... that was part of my plan... As the rocket left the cold grey barrel of his rocket launcher, it lit up with the same colour as the team he was on, the rocket hit my feet and instantly killed me, "My game must be possessed!" I muttered, shaking nearly every bone in my body out of fear. I was terrified, before i could think I threw the console out of my hands, the screen impacted the wall of my room and the glass from the screen shattered to the ground beneath my feet.
It was finally over, I had stopped the evil cartridge that was probably a second hand game from a child that maybe drowned or something sad like that.
I will never be the same, the things I saw when playing that game, The crit... The domination, I'm sure it'll leave me insane only in a matter of time.

With all of the twists and turns, I wouldn't be surprised if someone made a variation of this map where there are a bunch of teleport triggers spaced randomly throughout the map, so if you aren't paying attention to the direction to the intel then you'll just get even more lost. A related note: Replace the flags with control points and it becomes infinitely harder to complete.
The poke-dungeon theme is so fitting for this map

After finding the solution on the map, I can confidently say that the map is accurate.

This is brilliant
Love the Pokemon mystery dungeons music XD good memories and fits so well.
It's like a sick amalgamation of The Maze Runner and Cube, and I love it.
When RT says "lets see" at the beginning he sounds like connereatspants.
This but the whole maps dark and the only light source are flashing lamps in the vents and the intel room.
Also the cap activates a script that spawns Helltower skeletons.
What sick fiend would make this map?
