Absolutely love that exploit. Sometimes I don't have the time to do it in spawn but when I do, it's absolutely great.
I mean it has like a 30% crit rate anyways why not just give the ball a 100% crit rate because that barely makes it a good melee anyways lol
There's no need to fix the exploit, I mean most scouts aren't even using it and anyone who does know just finds it funny and respects those who know of it bc it's so rarely used.
It's a completely fair "buff" to Scout.
I hope you know that the wrap assassin has guaranteed crits. For some reason, valve decided not to list that stat in the description, but if your ball stays in the air for 1 second or more than it’s a guaranteed crit.

Takes longer than that. I've let one go for 1.5 seconds and it hit without being a crit.
Still, that's more of an imported Sandman quirk and honestly it just feels better to have infinite crits at any range.
Also somehow I'm getting okay at Scout when did this even happen
@@kirbyfreakyt4695 the sandman doesn’t have crits. It only gains a small damage increase at the stupid moonshot range. Wrap assassin at least has guaranteed crits(and maybe the sandman’s damage increase) at a range that is at least hittable. Also, I think wrap assassin crits are based on distance not time. I think it has to travel about 1400 hammer units, 1 second is just roughly the amount of time that takes. Infinite crits at any range could be a decent fix for the sandman, but would make the wrap assassin stupid op (it would do over 80 damage at any range). I think the wrap assassin is perfectly fine as is. Especially since the ball doesn’t shatter in mid-air randomly anymore.

i will never understand why people hate new players in games. they are there for the same reasons you are, and are a sign that the game you love is still alive and well. it may be aggravating to try to teach them or cringey to see them fail things you think of as second nature not to try but you were there as well, trying that impossible jump over and over or learning what hotkeys do what. i get that some people prefer more exclusive groups, but hating on new players to the game isn't the way to do it, and claiming the entire game for said exclusive "veteran" group is a jerk move.
TLDR: dont bully new players, you were once a new player too.
